  1. I found this strangely win. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akIgA72XDxs Also question, for the console versions of Guitar Hero/Rock Band, are you able to import songs into it? Or do you need to create them in the studio?
  2. Yeah, as long as they don't sell out to them, it will be all good. Also, here is Incompetent Cartographer 4&5 Incompetent Cartographer 4 Incompetent Cartographer 5
  3. Ah, the Japanese, amazing at many technological feats... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9JyDQlHo1A but why did they have to make it without limbs, that's very disturbing. :-(
  4. Here is the director's cut of the Birth Of A Spartan trailer, for those who haven't seen it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-23RVR_AqIs
  5. They just announced a NPC Creator, you can use it early if you pre-order the game. Here is the link to the LionHead page. Seems fun and interesting, I will totally make an extremely dumb, cheap, rude, perverted fat man named Jeff. Not sure what I would make him wear, probably male [bleep] clothing or something that is considered revolting. Then I will create the rest of his family  EDIT: If you pre-ordered, you can do it Here. EDIT2: Lmfao you can do it already, but you can't port that one in your game until release. Some of the options are EPIC xD

It will probably be fairly better by release, there is a reason why it has a Beta. I remember when people didn't care about graphics or how polished a beta was, a beta in it's essence is to test out the game publicly. Some games don't have betas, and you can see how they turned out. I heard that the remastered Frontline is released for the PS3 only, sucks since that was my favorite one.
  7. The ring of Vigour seems really useful. The Eye of the Warrior seems interesting, hopefully its worth it, last long and reflects more damage then the ring of recoil. Rigour seems like a nice prayer, not sure if it will be worth it.
  8. HALO 2600 Fun little thing I found.
  9. Luckiest shot ever. Why can't things like that happen for me? If that happened to me, I would probably quit, exterminated at the spawn with the rest of my teammates, without the enemy even seeing us. If I got the shot through I would have crapped my pants.
  10. Love how Noble Six is just chilling watching that ship get MAC'd, I like his style.
  11. I've seen the unboxing, and they said a while back "you know the beginning, you know the end." and for people who are interested in the books know that almost all the Spartans on Reach die. Also that reminds me, the Fall of Reach occurs on September 14th, 2552. Seems a nice little thing Bungie did for the game release. Here's something else I found. 10 New Screenshots, 5 Campaign and 5 Firefight. Things I noticed: 600 Round Assault Rifle, Custom Noble Six, and that Farmer looks like he crapped his pants. Emile appears to be ready to blow his brains out, his page does say he interacts "badly" with people outside of Noble team.
  12. The Weekly Update, all Achievements names, descriptions, and pictures shown. Contains potential spoilers, so if you don't want to see, DON'T READ. Trust me, especially the Mission ones. Also the Space Ostrich is the Moa. This will be fun. [hide= Weekly Update] Last week I dropped nearly 20,000 words to keep all you demanding mother suckers satisfied. This week, Im reigning it back in. Ill admit it I just cant keep pace with Grand Master Sketch. Besides, we just unleashed an epic cinematic trailer, The Battle Begins, and it should keep you occupied well into the weekend. What more do you want! Soon youll be seeing this spot making an appearance on the magical picture box that dominates your living room. Those who lamented the short running time should note that its crafted and cut precisely to commercial length. Sixty seconds is all the time we had to work with. Its really for the best anyway. Any additional footage and wed be treading heavy into full on Spoiler Country. And, of course, were not done yet. 46 days to go. I hear we've got incoming. Embargoes are being lifted as we speak and tons of new Halo: Reach information and multimedia should be hitting the web right now. Someone even told me you might be seeing some footage from the Sanctuary remake, Asylum, soon. Yup, it's on the disk and why yes, it is still super fun. Achievement Unlocked! But since I know you crave even more immediate Halo: Reach information, Im going to take Sketch and Lukes monumental achievement from a few weeks back and crank it up to full on blow out mode. Competent Cartographers While Ive been keeping myself busy by trying to achieve mediocrity in Halo: Reachs fully upgraded Forge mode, some of the rest of the team has been building some awesome spaces in their new found spare time. I asked them to submit a few of their fancy creations so you could take a little look-see. They complied. Nice guys, eh? Check out some of their handiwork: Before you get too wound up, I should note that even though Im putting these creations on display, it does not mean that youll see these maps making their way into matchmaking. Even though these were lovingly crafted by our employees and testers, theyre still put through the same rigors our expertly crafted multiplayer spaces demand. If they make the grade, youll likely see more of them down the line. I'll make sure to show 'em off. If notthey go to the great garbage bin in the sky box. Relegated Revenant I planned on blowing out the Revenant a bit today, too. Yup, its the cherry red Covenant vehicle powered by a violent thunderstorm (that also fires hadoukens). Sketch wants to save it for later. Maybe he knows something I dont. Wonder if my wife is having a second baby. Thatd be something. Anyway, maybe itll make an appearance next week. No promises. Dont Make the Internet a Promise It was a beautiful dream. A podcast for each and every month this year. Alas, it just wasnt meant to be. But we have a good excuse! The podcast rig is actually stuffed in a box, somewhere out there, in transit, on the way to Our New Studio! While its no secret that were saying goodbye to beautiful downtown Kirkland, the departure is anything but teary-eyed. Last week we treated ourselves to a sneak peek and explored the new space. For a number of reasons, this move has been a long time coming. First and foremost, were huge. Were literally bursting out of this awesome space weve called home in Kirkland these last few years. But for me personally, the best part about the guided tour was the realization that wed finally have more than two urinals to share between 150 dudes. Do the math. Yeah. And though its no full on studio tour, replete with Starbucks fireside chats and glimmering championship belts, our very own artist extraordinaire Jason Sussman took the time to snap some shots during our rendezvous with relocation and we thought you might want to browse em yourself. Sketch has been talking a mean streak about giving you the video tour, but for now, these will have to do. Into the Great Wide Open Moving On Up It's full of light! Tickets, please. Explore the Space! Pillars of Awesome Overlook For a lot of folks at Bungie, 434 Kirkland Way wasnt just a place where we came to work every day, it was our home away from home. This building houses a lot of memories a significant portion of our time spent creating the Halo universe and developing Halo games happened right here between these walls. This, to quote every single celebrity ever to grace MTV Cribs, is literally where the magic happened. So, its with somewhat heavy hearts that we watch the movers break it all down, box it all up, and move it all to our new digs in Bellevue. She was a good ship. She will be missed. Cone's coming along for the ride. But although this is where the magic happened, this isnt our first relocation. Were no strangers to shifts in time zones and space. Regardless of the work environment we find ourselves in, our team remains intact, ensuring that Bungies future is indeed bright. And that magic? Were boxing it up and bringing it with us to Bellevue. NON FACETE NOBIS CALCITRARE VESTRVM PERINAEVN See you on the other side, Seventh Column. Blame Stosh I hear Stosh is moving into his own s[bleep] office in Bellevue. One of the spacious, glass numbers on the upper mezzanine right next to Harold. Our little guy is all growed up! To celebrate, lets light some candles, Bungie style! Blame Jandro Speaking of Bungie style, Jandro sent me a sweet snippet of animation he cooked up late one night. To set it up, heres a little story: So, as cinematics is one of the last teams to roll off the project, we often end up having many late nights to ourselves where our own madness gets the best of us during the AM hours while the rest of the team is at home fast asleep. One of these evenings birthed this video. Dave Lieber is the mastermind behind this and for morale of the rest of the team decided (or just felt possessed) to create this thing. Just one of the many things that get created in cinematics land that are completely pointless to the game, but just as important to help keep us making awesome -blam!-. Naughty words dont work on Bungie.net, Jandrobut hyperlinks do! RAWk! Blame David Allen I dont know whats going on in the picture below, but David Allen said hed trade me all those sweet shots of the Forge World maps if I ran it. So: lolarz Totally worth it. And thats totally it for us today. Bon voyage. See you next week. [/hide] About the final missions name: [hide=Spoilers] I think it's a good chance they all die in it, hence the name. [/hide]
  13. Looks nice. I found something interesting, it could possibly be the most dangerous enemy of all... [hide=Space Ostriches!] [/hide] You can't really miss them, look at the bottom right, also take a look at the nice scenery too, maybe something is there I haven't noticed. I guess it also explains this achievement.
  14. Here's a little thing Urk has been working on, it's called "Incompetent Cartographer" He goes in depth of some places you can Forge and makes a pretty cool map, he is still building it so I'll add more parts when he adds them. Incompetent Cartographer Incompetent Cartographer 2 Incompetent Cartographer 3 It's a really good read, and will give you a little head start on how Forge works when it comes out.
  15. The Spire might have: Crumpled during the 50 years, Logan/Your father destroyed it, it's out of view, or she is done with it; since well, after 50 years I guess she completed whatever she wanted. Also here is a new EDGE article about Fable 3, also if you don't know usually my post are riddled with spoilers, and this article has a ton. Fable III Preview Also, I love this sword, I'll try whatever way I can and get it.
  16. [PICTURE] You can try changing the sharpness, but I don't think anything is there... Dang, well we have to wait until release or if France gets it leaked again. also, here is a GIF of the VGA Trailer and Campaign Trailer, courtesy of HBO I like it I liked how many people used to say "Reach won't ever look like the VGA trailer" Also, unlike the VGA, it is Rendered in the in-game engine instead of being pre-rendered, especially since every cutscene you are in is with your personal armor (as it crosses over from Multiplayer, to Campaign, to Firefight, etc. Very nice improvement.
  17. Ironically those are my favorite CE levels too. <3: also, here is a gif if anyone want's to use it for their avatar. Also, I can't get a good enough view to see what the tag says, could somebody zoom in, increase sharpness, etc. to see if it is of importance?
  18. Halo 2 was my favorite, even through Bungie never really got to finish it. (They scrapped a huge portion, they tried to add too many things but never finished them all.) _______ It appears Bungie lived up to its VGA Standard they promise, and it looks good. [hide= VGA] [/hide] [hide=Final Game, Same cutscene.] [/hide] Looks good, and all you need to do to get the VGA effect is increase contrast and add a green filter. Also, Noble Six doesn't jump bad for a Spartan-III, over 10 feet in a half ton suit of armor.
  19. They released the campaign trailer, looks very good to me, It might be almost as good as Halo CE. I saw at a part Noble Six clenching a dog tag in his hands, I think somebody on Noble died as New Alexandria was being glassed, and near the end he looks injured, trying to shoot the phantom, and then he is alone with the cruisers glassing the planet. EDIT: My New Background [hide] [/hide] Also, does anybody know what is happening in that scene, I see an AA Gun, a few cruisers and a bunch of purple lights... Is it a huge covenant camp on Reach?
  20. It depends on what you are interested in, they are both great series. I love Fable more through. Apparently Friday Lionhead is going to add 2 video's on their site, I hope Video Diary 3 is added. <3:
  21. Your right, it is from that Vidoc, this scene in particular.
  22. Tomorrow Bungie is going to show a new trailer soon, probably tomorrow since they are showing something at London. They leaked a single screenshot of it, looks like a cutscene of a sort. http://m.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=347387&id=128203443864347
  23. Go look at some of his posts in the Halo thread. BE AMAZED. From what I've read in OXM, and this, I'm probably going to be getting it. Dang, between Halo reach, Call of Duty Black Ops, and a few others games I have my eye on, this is going to be one crazy fall/winter... I noticed my post can be very long at times  I actually think that was my longest I have ever done, I tried editing a mistake I did but it was too big for me to do. Many good games this year, Fable 3, Halo Reach, COD: BO, Fallout New Vegas, etc. OT: There is 4 weapon types; Sword, Hammer and Rifle, Pistol. It might seem small but there is 88,000 possible morphs per weapon type, and there is a rumor happening on the Lionhead site saying there is 5 morphs per weapon before it stops morphing. I remember seeing a sword that looked like a tree branch, and an evil looking scythe. Basically the weapon you use a lot becomes a legendary weapon in a way. If there is a morph like this, I would totally have it. Weapon:Royal Staff of Respect (Pimp Cane) Morph1: Gain 10 follower's respect by causing physical and physiological pain. Morph2: Have Sex with 100 Prostitutes Morph3: Marry 10 Prostitutes Morph4: Make the your King/Queen's spouse to be a [bleep]. Morph5: Make Prostitution Legal Result: A golden cane with a diamond crown. Special Effect: Allows you to use an Enhanced Slap ability. _____ I highly doubt they would include it, but I would want that weapon. I will try at least. What weapon do you guys want?
  24. Damn, I'm loving the First assassination, the 2nd one was good also. It makes Elites seem ever so brutal and dangerous.
