  1. Profit sure addy is better but does not even come close to gold with this method, upto 71xp per bar. Gold is way way faster
  2. The level 60 smithing is needed to work the blast furnace, you can work it at a lower level but i think you need to pay the foreman every ten mines.
  3. If your collectiing to make your own potions there's an even more efficient way. Take 26 incomplete potions with you, add the fungi while your down there then make 4 dose pots and drop the empty vials and fill the empty inventory spaces with fungi before you leave. My head hurts trying to work out how many fungi you get per trip but i think its 32. If your willing to mess about a bit you can take 28 incomplete pots, drop a couple while you collect the fungi, pick them up again and make the complete pots, you only need to do this a couple of times before you've made room to carry them all again, 35 fungi per trip.
  4. K thanks for the advice. I've never been temple trekking, will have to give it a go.
  5. Hi all, I'm looking for somthing that drops alot of sweetcorn, strawberry and watermelon seeds... any ideas? Cheers
  6. Its a shame but there's no infinite stock down there. And ty nuke. You buy the ore, make the bars, make the bowls, alch the bowls and repeat... No need to note anything!
  7. lmao Now, where did i put my slippers
  8. Kinda related to this.. I'd taken a few big hits from black dragons and was very low on health when the guy i was standing next to offered a trade. I would personally offer a little food to someone in trouble so i thought this was what he was doing. He than ran out between the dragons and obviously as i'd click accept trade, i followed him. Thankfully i ran back before getting the fatal smack from a black. It shocks me to think of some of the things no good scumbags will try on this game.
  9. Does this annoy anyone else or is it just me? I make a deal on the forums or over pm then get "my world, edgeville" or where ever. I always make to effort to meet someone halfway but i turn down deals when people demand i come to them. Am i just a stubborn grumpy old bugger?
  10. Ah there it is, sorry  I was looking at previous post i'd made, guess it only adds it to new ones soz. Oh while i'm here, what do you think? took hours to make lol
  11. Hi all, i've made a sig, uploaded it to my site and place a link in my profile with [.img] before and [./img] after it but still nothing is showing up. What am i doing wrong? Cheers Burnt
  12. Oh i dont know, when i quit i'd really had enough and gave everything away (approx 90m worth, would have loved to see the look on that random guys face when i just wandered in to fally bank and gave him a free d chain :D). Thats actually properly quiting in my eyes but i got bored and signed up for members again about 8 months later.
  13. On a slayer task fighting dagonoths under the lighthouse... Bare in mind there must be about 40 fast respawning dag's down here.. *At this point i'd like to add he'd had ran around the cave attracting as many as he could and run into a corner, i went over there because the rest of the cave was empty!* Him: Hate to critisize Him: but an intelligent person might find a new world Him: God forbid you berespectful at all.. Of course I was speachless, what else was there to say!.. Me: Noob Him: Exactly Him: Moron Me: lol look how many there are.. And your asking me to find another world? Me: Who's the moron? Him: Since its easier for everyone to have a world to themselfs Me: Thats right, because there are only 144 players on RS Him: And i've been hopping all day thanks to arrogant b*trds like you Him: Thought it might be nice for someone else to for once Him: And everyone on runescape is killing dagonoth? Me: You've been hopping here looking for an empty world? lmao Him: You'll notice i had one until you came along Me: Do me a favour.. Stop whining like a 12 year old. Him: And you came over killing all the ones i've collected up In every situation where competing is envolved i go by the rule of first come first serve and will gladly go looking for my own empty world, but at the dagonoths!!! Insane. I wish i'd pointed out that it was a members area and therefor only 64 worlds, no wonder the fool had been hopping all day!
  14. I was just wondering where everyone gets there fancy stat sigs, made yourself or is this part of swiftswitch or somthing?
  15. Thanks for the extra tips all, a few handy things i didnt know! I also have the varrock 3 armour but cant for the life of my work out what RDF stands for  can you fill me in on that one? Cheers!
  16. Uhhhhhh... Wouldn't it be easier and faster to simply buy your bowls from a general store for 5 ea now that they have unlimited stock?????? Buying from the general store in Falador or Varrock and then running to the bank would be faster than using your house. Plus, you won't even need a house or level 45 construction! Umm.. Yep. Although i use the portal in my house to tele for free back to fally your right, that would be quicker and cheaper, ty.
  17. I have a couple of great tips for this. 1) Always, without fail, return to the center of the grid as soon as you have tagged a post. If for example you tag a post in the bottom left corner and wait there, you have no chance of getting the next if its in the top right corner. Returning to the middle each time puts you only 4 moves from any post, i've tagged several hundred in a row with this method, you just cant fail. 2) Baskets of strawberries are fantastic for this!! Take 24 baskets, each containing 5 strawberries, each healing 6 hp. Thats a total of 720 hitpoints healed!!... Yep more than a pack full of tuna potatoes. And the best part is because each strawberry heals low, its easy to keep it under that magic number 20hp. Oh dear i just read your guide again, you have both of these tips covered. Think i need to get my eyes tested.. Sorry!
  18. No need to apologize, all comments welcome. The reason i only included curry's and tuna potatoes is because those are the only two i make, mainly because i personally think there the only two worth the hassle. There both 'one bite' foods. You make a good point about pizza but it takes 3 bites to get that hp heal and to be honest i dont think alot of people bother with them. I felt it necessary to repeat parts simply because someone might want to make tuna potatoes and not bother reading the previous stuff. I didnt want people to come back screaming at me because they didn't realise you need bowl to make a tuna spud. I had no intention of making a huge "how to cook", "level up your cooking" or "fastest cooking xp" guide. Sorry for any misconceptions. :D
  19. I dont like to mess about, only the best food will do for me!. Here's how i make two of the best foods available. Curry - Heals 19 1) Requirments 60 Cooking. 65 Thieving or 42 Farming. 45 Construction. Lets start with what makes a curry a curry, spice. There are two ways to obtain this. a) Use your level 42 farming skill to plant curry trees and pick the leaves. This is a very slow method, only 6 leaves can be picked at a time and 3 are needed to make a curry. Having said that they soon mount up if you have several curry tree's and visit them a few times a day. B) Pots of spice can be stolen from the stall in Ardougne market place with level 65 thieving. This is a very fast way to make curry's. Remember to pick a high populated world because the spice stall 'spawns' faster. The Meat Any old meat will do, I'll be honest and say i've not done much research into the closest 'meat to bank' area but i find the hurd of cows just south of falador just fine. There are plently of cows here so there's no waiting around and the Falador east bank isnt too far away. Cook your meat on the stove just west of the bank after each trip before banking. Spuds There are several places to collect potatoes around the world, for no real reason i use the patch north east of Draynor Village. If you buy sacks from any farming store for just a few gp you'll save yourself alot of time. I've found the best method is to take 18 sacks. Pick 10 spuds, fill a sack and repeat. You can collect 190 spuds in one trip this way. Bowls This is where your construction level comes into play, at level 45 you can build shelves in your kitchen that give unlimited bowls. Teleport to your house, collect an inventory full of bowls then teleport to Falador. Use the water pump just north of the falador west bank to fill your bowls with water before banking. Now your ready to combine your ingredients, if i can offer any advice at this point it would be to collect a few more spuds and meats than you need, its very easy to eat one instead of using it. a) Use a spud with the bowl of water to make an 'Incomplete Stew' B) Use meat with the incomplete stew to make a 'uncooked stew' c) Use spice or curry leaf (3) with the uncooked stew to make a 'uncooked curry' Now simply head to your fav cooking place, the rouges den being the closest to the bank and cook your curries! A Whopping 280 cooking xp can be gained from each complete curry. And now the king of all foods.. Tuna Potato - Heals 22 1) Requirments 68 Cooking. 35 Fishing. 20 Farming. 45 Construction. The Tuna Pretty straight foward this one... umm catch tuna. I'm sure i dont need to go into how and where to fish. Grab your harpoon and go for it. The fish must be raw to make tuna potatoes, dont cook it! Potatoes must be cooked before making tuna potatoes. Sweetcorn Use your level 20 farming to grow sweetcorn, no doubt you'll already have lots in the bank as one patch can give 15 or so sweetcorn easily. Sweetcorn must be cooked before it can be used to make a tuna potato. Butter The best place for this is the lost city. Start by taking 14 buckets to the dairy cow just south of the entrance and milk the cow till all buckets are full. Next head to the churn, halfway between the bank and the cow on the north wall. Churn your milk into butter here, the reason you only take 14 buckets at a time is because when your done you'll have 14 pats of butter and 14 empty buckets in your inventory. Now your ready to combine your ingredients. a) Take a knife, 13 bowls and 13 tuna from your bank. Use the knife with the tuna to add it to the bowl. B) Take 13 sweetcorn from your bank and add them directly to the bowl. c) Take 13 potatoes from your bank and add the bowls full of topping to them. Thats it, your done and 309.5 cooking xp better off per tuna potato. Good Luck!
  20. I have a couple of small tips related to this.. 1) Keep random event food, kebabs, triangle sandwiches etc. 2) Go with full prayer. If your water skins run out its suprising how much longer you can stay there with just a couple of bits of naff food and the 'rapid heal' prayer.
  21. They didn't. I hit hunter hard the second it came out and was ranked in the hundreds till i hit my target of 70 and stopped. Competition was shockingly fierce making it even harder to train for the first week. Anyhow... 4 days, 24 Hours a day.. 96 hours of non stop play at 135k xp per hour? Come on, its just not true. Cool Guide btw
  22. Hmm maths never has been my strong point, feel free to recalculate this and correct me if i'm wrong.. I completed a 2 hour test and started with: 4027207 Smithing XP 100k Cash 500 Nats After 2 hours i had: 4074491 Smithing XP 61972 Cash 207 Nats Soo.. 48,028 Smithing XP gained 38,028 Cash spent 293 Nats used 122,998 Total cash spent if buying nats @ 290 each Right, now the bit i'm no good at.. Cash: 122,998 / 48,028 = 2.560gp per 1 xp (Cash spent divided by xp) 13,034,431 - 273,742 = 12,760689 xp (Level 99 xp minus Level 60 xp) 12760689 * 2.560 = 32,667,363gp (xp to level 99 times cost per xp) Time: 48028 / 2 = 24014 xp per hour (xp earnt divided by time spent) 12,760,689 / 24014 = 531hours 38mins (xp needed divided by xp per hour) 531.38 / 4 Hours per day = 132.845 days (Total hours divided by hours spent smithing per day*) 132.845 / 30 = 4.4 (number of days divided by average days in a month) So going by only a 2 hour test and my terrible maths, to get from 60 smithing (blast furnace requirement) to 99 smithing you would need: 32.6 Million gp 4 Months 4 Days (spending 4 hours a day smithing) I have too much time on my hands and my head hurts :wall: *Edit* I think its worth adding that within these 2 hours i had 5 random events. 1 Maze 1 Sergant Damien 1 Evil Twin Sister 2 Prison Pete's
  23. To be honest i've no idea but plan to do it for a couple of hours today and collect some stats, i'll post the results.
