thats why im saying its more profitable to sell steel plates to players for 1k instead of 2 horvik.. :\ plus u save the cost of nats as well, there are cheaper ways of leveling mage. Heck i used strikes from 94-98 :P
assuming u can buy coal at 100 per :P only place u can do that is in game, standing around trying to trade. Thats where the time = money question comes in. Would it be more profitable if u had spent that time mining/earning cash instead of buying coal to smith into plates to sell for money? :P something u have to figure out urself.
smithing and magic depends on the player. Its more profitable to just sell steel plates at 1 - 1.05k per, considering natures value is about 250 - 300 on the boards, and the high alch price of steel is 1.2k.
they wont sell rooney....yet :P give him a year, get him overrrated to the max, and sell him to some poor team that will have him on their injured list after a few games
5k profit from 75k? thats not even 10% gain, not worth it. Smithing scimis and selling at varrock to ppl for 35k gives better returns. Hatchets can go for 20k sometimes so their pretty good as well :) it isnt that great merchanting it...trust me :P Im just happy its positive income ;)
