  1. Oh fun, I commute to my college so I don't have that problem ever. I have the freedom to suddenly do weird stuff like that since the only one around to see me is my lizard, but he already knows I'm crazy. I guess you could try hitting yourself over the head w/ a book, but that would probably draw attention as well.
  2. Do something to get your blood going. Do some push-ups, sit-ups or whatever works best for ya. If it's cold out side, step out and let the cold air wake ya up. That's all I can think of at the moment.
  3. 1) It's definitely not wrong. I actually still love my one ex boyfriend, but we realized that it would be impossible for us to stay together without one of us completely giving up our life and life desires. 2) As often as I doubt that true love exists, I'd choose true love over money.
  4. Wow, after seeing what fgfuyfyuiuy0 goes through, my parents seem slack. martinisback, the best advice I can give you is first try talking with your parents and ask them why they don't let you out. Then try to come to some sort of compromise. I can't guarantee this will work, since it doesn't work with my parents (and I'll be 22, in 2 days).
  5. I pick facebook. MySpace has given me nothing but problems. My page never updates correctly, and if it looks like it did on my end, my friends will tell me my page will either not load or loads weird. So I figured these problems came from messed up coding for my layout. Although when I would remove all html codes I'd still be told that my page wouldn't load. Facebook may be plainer looking, but it at least works right. Granted you'll find some application that won't work right, but that can just be easily removed.
  6. You just made me cry T_T But anyways, I've never dieted before, but from what i've heard from others around me about dieting is that its not so much about the quantity of food you eat, but what's in your food that can make a difference (plus exercise). For example, if you eat a lot of beef, a change to poultry instead of the beef can make a difference (which doesn't mean you can't have beef, just less often). I can't think of much else right now, but i'll post again if anything else comes to mind. Oh, and having someone around who isn't dieting is handy to have around. That way you can give them all the junky foods you shouldn't eat. I know I gladly help out dieters with that job. lol
  7. I wouldn't recommend Atlantic City, unless you do stay in one of the fancy expensive hotels. Since I'm sure those places have functional showers, cheap hotels... not so much. Also the ocean water you'd want to stay away from, cause the instant you go in you just want to run out and get to the nearest shower and scrub all your skin off. I mean it's still a neat place, but there's far better places to see. I'm no help in recommending good places though since i'm not well traveled. One place I did like that I went to was Washington D.C., I'd like to go there again one day since there was so much i didn't see. Plus i was young at the time so I don't remember much of it at all. Oh, and the legal gambling age in the states is 21. So which ever one of you two are 19 might not even be allowed on the gambling floor. At least that's the impression that I gathered when security IDed me and said "You can't be old enough to be in here". Sure shocked him when he saw I was 21. :P Hope this helped a little.
  8. Diet Survey 1. How often and how much do you eat Meat/nuts/eggs/fish? Everyday, and usually 2 times a day (for example: burger at lunch, chicken breast at dinner) 2. " Vegatables? Again everyday, usually with 2 meals a day (ex: lettuce and tomatoes, and then 2-3 serving spoons full of peas) 3. " Carbs?again usually every day, 2-3 times a day (ex: cereal bar, burger bun, 1 potatoe) 4. " Candy/Junk food?Everyday lol, candy and junk food I eat far too much of. 5. " Dairy?about 1-2 times a day, and below average amounts i believe since i rarely drink milk (ex: cheese on burger, ice cream) 6. You are alone at home and you are hungry, you may prepare something as you normally do. What do you eat as a snack?Well, I either grab a bunch of cookies (6-8), or I grab a bag of chips and eat about 1/3-1/2 of the bag. 7. How often a week do you eat outside your house? I'd say about 7 times a week 8. You average meal consists of(Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner)... Oh, i was kinda giving examples as i go, but i'll go in more detail here. Breakfast: Usually I grab some sort of cereal bar since i'm usually running out of the house. Lunch: Usually some sort of sandwich (tuna, ham or cheese burger) loaded with tons of mayo, slice of cheese, lettuce and tomato. Then as a side I have French fries or pirogies, and Mountain Dew as my drink. For Dinner: Some sort of meat (beef, chicken, pork etc.), a vegetable, some sort of potato product (baked, mashed, salad etc.), and Mountain Dew to drink. 9. You consume snacks a day, x=... About 2-4 10. Amount of exercise per day... Never, unless walking to my classes, and walking around at work counts as exercise. lol 11. Age(opinional but suggested) 21 (10 days till 22 =D ) 12. Student Level? If not a student, are you under labour empoyment or desk work? 4th year of college, and retail job (no desk, no heavy labor, but I stand for 8 hours) 13. Country living in and ethnicity? United States, German, Austrian and Russian.
  9. Oh wow, everyone has awesome piercings and tattoos. I've been wanting to get at least two tattoos for a long time now, but I just can't bring myself to spend the money to get them done. Granted the cost of getting them done isn't really all that much, but I'd rather put that money towards saving up to move out ASAP once I graduate college in May.
  10. I love my goldfish, but they are dirty destructive fish. My 55 gallon (208l) tank has 3 large goldfish in it (I have pics of them in the post your pet pictures thread) and we have to clean it at least once a month, sometimes more. Young small goldfish generally aren't destructive, but once they've grown a bit you might find the stuff you put in the tank all over the place (including the water filter) or eaten if you put in live plants. So pretty much all we have in our tank is the under-gravel filter with one air tube thing (used to be three but they broke the other two) and two air stones since that's all our goldfish have left undestroyed. Goldfish are actually very simple to take care of if given enough space, clean water and feed regularly (we feed ours once a day). We definitely aren't fish experts and we've managed to have the one fish for 9 years now. Oh, and I recommend a hood/lid for your fish tank. We had one of our goldfish jump out several years ago, but thank goodness our dog freaked out and woke me up and we were able to save him. Although how you take care of your goldfish will also vary on the kind of goldfish you have. My destructive goldfish is a comet, which is your basic feeder goldfish. Your fancy goldfish are going to be far more docile than your comets and you'll be able to have a more decorated tank. Oh and for those people out there that think fish are boring, I thought that as well until we got our first goldfish 9 years ago. I learned that there's a lot more to them then just swimming, eating and taking a dump. They actually love attention and getting petted just as much as dogs do (waits for comments about me being crazy). I also learned that fish can even die from depression (long story so i won't go into it unless asked).
  11. I like the piercing =D, and I was about the same age as you when i had my first ear piercing (went with a similar earring style as you did for my first). I think i was 16... but I really don't remember exactly. I'll never get my ears pierced at Wal-Mart though. I had gotten my ears done a second time, when i was 19 i think, and it was done at Wal-Mart, and they got infected a lot so i just let them close up. If i get my second hole redone I'll go to piercing pagoda, or something, like i did for my first. I'd love to get other piercings (like my nose), but my job won't let me get any thing other than 3 holes in my ear. =/ The downfalls of a retail job for a company that's strict about your image. @ Paperclip: Just keep your dumb comments to yourself.
  12. This is my pet Uromastyx Rocko, he's such a cutey! ^_^ Then my awesome goldfishys <3 This would be speckles (7 years old) and Skunk (9 years old) And this is Inferno (4 years old) I used to have a dog (mini schnauzer, 14 years old) and a fourth goldfish (3 years old), but they both passed away this year. =(
