Watched the entirety of the LoTR trilogy for the first time. It was fairy good. It stayed pretty true to the books, I thought. And it captured the spirit well. Definitely better than the Harry Potter movies, which is what I usually compare it too. And that's about all I did today.

Watching lord of the rings for the first time.

If it's any consolation, my music is sorted into feelings rather than genre. Other than my techno. That's all just techno.

Country. Oh my god. I hate that thing they do with their voice. It's just dumb and annoying. The only country I can stand is the kind that doesn't do that. Even then I don't like it.

I've heard them classified as Alternative Rock. But tbh I don't get hung up on genres, if I like the sound of it that all that matters to me. Yeah. The only real distinctions I ever make are retro pop, modern pop, rock, metal, and techno. Any hardcore fan of those last two would be up my throat if they saw my classifications. Like Goon.

I've never really understood Breaking Benjamin. The only classification of them I've ever heard is Heavy Rock. They aren't rock and roll, nor pop, retro or modern. And I don't think they're heavy rock, so yeah. But I like some of their stuff.
