Genuinely hard decision. I can see that his behaviour has been very gradually changing. I will only leave him if I feel there's no point attempting to 'make it work'. Well I already have the job, I just can't use handcuffs/baton/mace without the training and I can't be armed without a CCW. So it's OJT in a sense. Also, washing out pepper spray in the shower hurts about 10x more than getting sprayed with it.
