  1. Alright, i know it's been a while, so i thought it was time to re-jig the blog again. it never really got started too much, but ah well. Anyways, i've been getting some stuff done on runescape recently, and i thought i'd share a few screenies with ya all, whether you wanna look at them or not, that's up to you. First of all, i completed Desert Treasure! I have screenies, but only of Dessous and Fareed. Sorry :( Although, i did take one of the ice boots. They were increadably funny, just because of the terrible glitchy animation. If anyone wants to complete DT under level 80, it's really easy-all you need is 43 prayer, basically. Bring good food like sharks, prayer pots, and you're sorted. I probably maged the whole thing because most of the bosses are weak against certain elemental spells. I also completed Fairy Tale part 2! Thankyou, double xp weekend! I spent most of my money on ranarr seeds and didn't get a move on, so only had 100 rannarrs on the day, but i traded my prayer pots for ingreedients to sanfew serums, so now i have a number of ranarrs in my bank that have grown since which are gonna make like 1.4mil :D Oh yeah, i also completed My Arm's Big Aventure and got 51 farming! I'm officially no longer a farming noob. Can grow avantoe now too-this is apparently a fantastic money maker, that only requires level 50. I'm currently working on my combat to complete Dream Mentor. I need 70 attack, 70 strenght, and 60 defence. I reckon if i do a level in each a day at Yaks, this shouldn't take too long to achieve, about 10 days? I also completed Haunted Mine in a group of people, which was an increadably annoying quest. If i'd have done it on my own i'd have been screwed. I even died once and got 2 people to look after my grave for me, or rather, one to look after the grave, and another to show me through the mine's 'cos i had no idea where i was going. I reccomend group questing this quest if you havn't done it yet, but then again, you might be better than me! I also completed Quiet Before the Swarm which was quite a good quest, as well as Swan Song, which again, the boss was unexpectedly easy! If anyone wants to PM me ingame about any questing help (although, i'm not the best. I just consider myself as one of the lower level questers, though i'm level 77 at the moment, due to trying to do Dream Mentor, which requires 85 combat) feel free. I might be able to help you with a boss that seems quite hard for those under level 80. Although i wouldn't ask me about Nomad, lol. And i say might, not will. :) Okay, so, here are screenies i've collected. There aren't alot mind. http://img822.imageshack.us/i/gloriousmemories.jpg/ http://img714.imageshack.us/i/dtfareed.jpg/ http://img230.imageshack.us/i/dessous.jpg/ http://img841.imageshack.us/i/leprecaun.jpg/ http://img709.imageshack.us/i/iceboots.jpg/
  2. Alright, so i know it's been a while since i updated my blog, and i'm sorry for any people who watch the topic. However, i have been doing a little bit of skilling, and a bit of questing. Nothing too interesting to miss out on though, Today however, i thought i'd post about me doing Desert Treasure Stay tuned for the update later on ;)
  3. I'll be sure to add you, you seem nice, and advice is always welcome :shades: Theiving sounds like a good idea, atm i'm actually training it to 57 by doing Pyramid Plunder (i have no idea if that's a good idea or not) Anyways...on with the blog. Since my last post, i've found a new guild called chilandskill. It's a really friendly guild which helps the daily runescape chores go faster. If anyone's interested in finding a guild, this is a rather friendly one, though i'm pretty sure you have to apply on the runescape forums to join :) Spent all yesterday playing Crash Bandicoot on the Ps1. I felt like being a bit nostalgic. :D This morning I went to Pyramid Plunder to go get my theiving up. Actually, it was more afternoon, but for me, it's the morning. I got about 4k exp there before i died. :( (I forgot anti pots.) This is the first of many of the multiple deaths I mentioned earlier. Well-the first i've mentioned on here anyways. While I was there though, i did make a mummy friend: After partying with the undead, i went to complete Lost Her Marbles, and got 57 theiving! Wahoo? I then later found out i need 58 theiving for Grim Tales. Which disapointed me alot. In order to beat this quest once and for all, i got myself some bandit brew and summer pie. After feeling like I had finally found a way round this quest, i discovered something else-i needed 52 herblore. Dang... Therefore, welcome my new goal....52 herblore! I also completed a clue scroll and got meerkat pouches. But i got bored...and used them straight away. Meh, they're only 3k a pouch, and to be fair, i only got two. It's actually a good prize for a level 1 clue scroll that i got whilst pickpocketing HAM members for Lost Her Marbles, as a pose to the firelighters i got off a level 3 scroll.
  4. Looks good, good luck! I feel that defence is harder to train that the other combat skills (aside from Summoning and Dung) as you hit less when training. However, at 99 you will be untouchable!
  5. Hey guys, Sorry it's taken me a few days for my first post xD Most of you have probably gotten fed up with my blog at this point and forgot all about it. Anyways, some people have been asking for my goals and achievements, so i thought i'd post them here. I even coloured in the important bits, you lucky people. At the moment this be what i'm wanting: -First off, i'd like to be 85 combat. I personally enjoy combat, i just can't stand training it. I'd love to move onto bigger and better bosses, however, for the time being, i doubt that's really do-able. Mostly i want 85 combat so i can do Dream Mentor, so i can use the random NPC contact, which should keep me entertained for about, oh, and hour or so xD -I need a higher herblore and farming level. Farming is possibly one of the most annoying skills ever, but i sorta enjoy it. Usually the problem is, i forget about my crops. And they die. -Sob- I need them high enough to do Fairy Tale Pt 2, as i'm wanting to finish the quest after only doing half of it for about a year. -I need to complete: -Elemental Workshop 3 -Haunted mine -Quiet before the swarm -Scorpion catcher -Tribal totem These are all the quests that i've not started but can complete. -I need to get my act on, stop being so lazy, and complete the achievement diaries. I think i can do at least all the medium tasks on all of them, so i need to buck my ideas up xD -I need 57 theiving to do Grim Tales. Long term goals: -Mostly i would like a Quest Cape. Only then will i remove my diving gear and replace it. Until then, i can look like an idiot with a fishbowl on my head. -I'd like a 99. Everyone wants a 99, that's pretty obvious. However, i want one that not many people have, just so i get an Uber-Cool emote. However, there's a reason that not many people have these capes, so that's definatly a long-term goal. -I'd like a 100+combat, so i can go kill some bosses. Fun times \:D/ Anyways, i took a few more screenies for you all. Quest points : http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/5272/83455896.jpg Stats: http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/4415/statsik.jpg
  6. LozzieSpeck's Blog to Fame and Glory! ...or just to multiple deaths 07 August Goals and Achievements :) 5th Post 11 August Where is my mummy? 7th Post Hello there! I'm Lauren, LozzieSpeck, Lozzie, Speck(?), whatever you want to call me. Welcome to my blog :D I've been playing Runescape since before most of you were born, the only thing is, if i'm honest, i suck at it. I'm a lazy bugger, so much so, that i'm too lazy even in a virtual world. You could offer me a pretty penny to go to Lumbridge by home teleporting and i'd still refuse. However, i do have an epic sense of style ( insert sarcasm here). Nothing can brighten your day more than some looser running around with a fishbowl on her head, thinking she's uber cool. So if you see me, feel free to say 'hi'. I might even have a conversation with you if i'm not busy drinking tea. I'm from GB, therefor, i like tea. I don't just like tea, i LOVE tea. I could drink a good dozen cups a day if i felt up to it. I also enjoy ranting. I love a good ol' rant I do, and if I come across anything that annoys me, chances are i'll post it on this blog. So watchout! I would make a banner, but as i said, i cba. I'm also literally shocking at photo editing. You'd probably just end up with a photo so screwed up, you couldn't tell whether it was a chocolate cake or a cockroach. Anyway, if you've got this far without giving up (kudos to you), you'll probably wanna know about why i started this blog. Well, the truth is, it's a good way for me to write down my goals and tell others what i'm up to. It's also a good bordem beater for when i'm stuck on Runescape, or somewhere to post screenies. Don't expect to see 20 levels a day or whatever, i'm just not that efficient. This is my avatar: Believe it or not, i've had that blue 'ele since 2007, which is good for me, because i tend to loose everything. I'm pretty sure i've died a couple of times with it on, and lost my other items instead, but i've always got the ele. It means alot more money to me than 150k or whatever it's worth, because back then my friend bought it for me when it was worth around 800k (or so I was told.) :D Anyways yeah, I'm just about the only person that thinks i look cool, but idc! If you want my stats, search for me in the hi-scores. I'm being lazy here and letting you search for me instead of me posting a screenie. Mwahaha. I currently have over 200 quest points- and i'm wanting a cape. I will get one eventually! Anyways, thanks for reading the first part of my blog, i'll post links above every time I make an update or new post. Cheers :D Lauren xoxoxox
  7. Your blog is really entertaining, gave me something to do for 20 minutes anyways :) Yer doing really well and if i see you in-game, i'll say hi!
  8. Hi, i was wondering if anyone knew any well written guides for mage. I am currently level 61 and i need to be 65 for lunar diplomacy. Atm i seem to be hitting a brick wall. Thanks :)
  9. That's a really fantastic guide. Now i just need to get my smithing to 60 xD
  10. Lol, thanks loads =] I've only just got round to actually making the thing
  11. Just finished Eyes of Glouphrie today  I advanced quite a good few levels in my runecrafting, one level in construction, and a level in magic. I also got a crystal sword and a questpoint. For now, i'm going to start doing some more mage work again, untill i can high alch. Then i'll probably buy yew longs and alch them. I'm thinking of starting to try and level construction again - But this is a long and booring process, and there are loads of things to build, so if i did, i'd definatly start flatpacking.
  12. Hi, welcome to my blog. I've been playing runescape for a while now, but i don't play alot, so my levels are fantastic. I thought i'd keep a blog, just to log everything down, and also to organize my things. Please, don't flame, and feel free to comment. It probably won't be one of them big blogs, with huge logs and quite amusing pictures, but i hope it will be okay =D The targets are both long-term and short-term. If you don't like them, don't flame me. Some might be bigger than others, but the bigger ones i might hope to achieve over a much longer period. Also, my blog's currently under construction, as i don't have much time at the moment i'm writing it. [hide=About me.]About me. ----------- I've been playing runescape on membership for about a year now. My skills aren't great, and i don't really like combat. I love quests, they're huge fun. I also like mini-games. Out of school, i like to swim and run. I spend quite a bit of time on the internet. I like sour foods. I also like Spicy foods, particulary Mexican.hide] [hide=Targets]Targets. ----------- Key: Underlined means close to completing. Bold means long term goals. Italic means i will get round to doing it soon. Earn 1 million, half way. Achieve a skillcape. Complete more achievement diaries. Complete more quests. hide] Pictures. ----------- There aren't many of these so far. I did manage to take a faily amusing screenie the other day, but lost it as I shut down my computer. Advancing in Prayer: - Other : - That picture was from a while ago, i've now lost the sachel, and so wield my rune scimmy and elemental sheild instead.
  13. This sounds fab I'm a low level at level 46, but i'll still join in Would the Grand Exchange be a good place to get the armour?
