It seems to happen more often in kuradels dungeon, and I think it might be related to my adobe or java crashing maybe? Hopefully that will shed some more light on the problem.

Occassionally, my whole RS window will go blurry, or fuzzy while im playing, making it almost impossible to see. Does anyone else have this problem? I play on low detail with minimum requirements and do not lag at all usually. Re-loading the RS window fixes the problem. Any idea why this might be happening?

Is speccing jad with an AGS or Claws even viable without Vengence, Im not yet 94 mage, and can only get to 90 with an extreme mage pot... Is it worth it to try since I fail at prayswitching? Should i get him to 50% or so health and then try it? What about rings of recoil? I have overloads, spec restores etc.

You should be ranging... Melee is awful. Use a Kyatt if you aren't doing that after your tort runs out

Why on earth would you want to wear melee armor (veracs? Guthans?) if the only thing that's attacking you consistently has a mage based attack? Im assuming because in between spawns EEE and bunyip and guthans (im using guthans) is enough to cover the healing?

I dont understand why i would need to pray mage the whole time? is the sinoslyps attack mage based?

i guess what i need is way to do this without having somene else kill prime and supreme... to be clear, i want to JUST kill rex. or at least i think this is possible. All the guides ive seen have multiple people involved which is what i dont want to do. I dont particularly care for efficency, i just want someting that will work.

I can get Claws of guthix then. Not a problem. Setup? and I was also thinking, can i get into a world with a group already there and just log out into the safespot and go from there?

Well ive decided to train my mage level and make some money by maging rex, i don't have a whole lot of experience with DK's at all. (read: none) Other than how to get there. So what i'd need was some help with a setup, and basically what to do to get it setup so i don't get owned by supreme and prime. Id rather not rely on someone else to hybrid etc. I kinda wanna be able to do this whenever i feel like it, not find/wait for someone else. Any help? I can get access to Claws of Guthix. Stats are in sig. I also have around a 10m cashpile with liike a month of MTK waiting to be cashed in, so if needed i can do that to buy Ahrims/sol etc. I HATE battle robes also, and have no desire to use them. CBA to recharge them. :D TIA!

definitely sell it. any combination of super antifires and spec restores til you get to extreme attacks is the way to train it. Bascially as many antifires as you want, then spec restores til you can make ext attacks/strs.

No one has argued CR vs CLS in this thread. CR vs Maul then whatever. Irrelevent. The topic was how to get a RAPIER. Which was clearly stated in the title. So if you wouldn't like to offer any advice on gaining tokens as fast as possible, please dont waste time in my thread.

The point of the thread wasnt another rapier vs cls flamewar but HOW to dung to get the 200k tokens.

Sorry for the double post, but id like some concensus on what to do here, ive heard alot about "rushing" certain floors and such, but is there a generally accepted way to the fastest XP? Which floors should i speed through at c1 small? or something like that? Which to do at solo medium, and what to do 5:5 large?

So basically, solo medium c6 all but the last ten i can do, those do in a 5 man team Large?

The only thing id add is to stress the importance of running under him to eat. This saves so much food it's ridiculous, and it was the main reason I was getting 1 or 0 kills opposed to 2 or 3 at lower levels.

The quest itself does not that that long, probably about 45minutes if you know how to do the final fight. Your stats are plenty good to beat him though. Mckinzy has a flawless guide in the AoW

Last time i tried to solo i was getting hit an awful lot so i think the obby shield is prob a good idea since i dont have cash for a DFS. And im gonna get crashed anyway so if they choose to crash me it wont really matter. I'll pencil that in. Then again, that was without overloads and and 5 or so defense levels ago...

Zammy Arrow for Zammy item Dip in Bandos Pool for bandos item KC at Hobgobs etc. Neitz Karils top Torags Legs Whip Obby Shield D Boots RoL Inv: 1 overload, 2 super prayers, 1 spec restore, claws, rest sharks? but i also dont know how many Overloads/Super Prayers to bring in conjunction with Sharks and A Tort. Any help?

Cant use Ruby (e) bc he doesnt have enough healing power due to lack of brews in a BoB. So diamond (e)'s the whole time, make sure to hide when he goes into mirror mode, avoid the 750 hit, and good luck lol

To be honest, theres no real way to do it with no summoning, a Terrorbird is nearly essential, as well as the use of the Spirit Kyatt.
