  1. Hey I have an idea to help stop auto'ers. Jagex is making roughly FIVE MILLION DOLLARS A MONTH in member fees. Why not "hire" players to monitor and report auto'ers. It's not that difficult and we all know the most common places that auto'ers hang out ie. gold mining at crafting guild, spinning wheel in Lumbridge, flax fields as a fe examples. Let me ask this: Who are the auto'ers really hurting? I mean think about it. Other than the few places where they hog the limited resources they really have no impact on my game at all. Jagex should focus on the auto'ers that hog rsources in limited areas. If an autoer wants to stand in a wooded area and cut oak trees what do i care, there are tons of oak trees. Now when they get to magic trees in limited resource then we focus in and stop them. much easier to do because it allows to focus on a much smallerarea. Since we have basically admitted that those stupid random events have done nothing to stop autoers, can we get rid of those. They are annoying to those of us that actually PLAY the game.
  2. Am i missing something here? Are you saying they are trying to eliminate the ability of players to trade(sell) items to one another? This would kill the game as one of the biggest assets to the game is being able to use one skill to "manufacture" something free and sell it to be able to buy other things you want. If this is what you are saying then I do not believe they would do this because to kill the RS marketplace would be to kill the game. Another reason I do not think they are looking at doing this is if you look at the ne "assisting" system, they very quickly eliminated the ability to assist with skills that allow low level players to obtain many seelable items without building the skills. As an example they stopped the fishing assist because it was killing those who used shark fishing as a means to make money. When you allow virtually anyone to gain sharks by means of assist it killed anyones ability to sell sharks. RS is smart enough to understand that player trading is a HUGE part of the game. If they are not smart enough and kill it then they are going to feel it pretty quick in monthly revenue as I believe thousands of players will stop paying to play.
  3. It is not unique to RS. ANY role playing game that involves building skills is repetitive and boring. Kind of like math class in school. You are learning a skill but doing ti over and over again gets boring huh? Art immitates life?
