  5. Hello, I'm miner2612. I'm going to make a low to mid level (level 50-75) P2P pure. Post here if you have suggestions for a name, stats, etc. All serious suggestions will be considered. [hide=Day 1][/hide]
  6. Because PVP drops in P2P are much more generous than in F2P, I am proposing duels in P2P worlds with F2P gear. Rules: What I'm proposing is doing some DMs with the following equipment and inventories in Edgeville Wilderness, in a member PVP world. Equipment: Helmet: None/Wizard Hat Cape: Any Team Cape Amulet: Any F2P Amulet Weapon Slot: Rune Scimitar Shield Slot: None Body Slot: Monk's Robes Legs Slot: Monk's Robes Boots: None/Leather Boots Gloves: None, or up to dragon gauntlets Ring: None! (No ring of life or recoil) Inventory: Two Rune 2H swords (So only one can be protected) Super Strength Pot Super Attack Pot Prayer Pot (1 or 2) The rest: Monkfish PM me ingame, or post here if you want to fight.
  7. Me! Me! But maybe we can fight in member so we get better drops and use cheaper food like monks?
  8. Rofl! You pked almost 100 mil worth of stuff while risking only 80k? Rofl i wish i were that lucky...
  9. Which is better for bounty hunting at 70 ranged?
  10. Thanks so much for this guide! You really can make 200k/hour! (here's some pics of me killing the slime[unpotted and no pray, of course]) It's not really good cb training, but good money making.
  11. Note: I have received permission from the guide's author to repost part of the guide, but the full guide may be found at the following link: http://www.gameolosophy.com/Games/Online/RuneScape/The-Ultimate-Guide-to-Creating-a-Low-Level-Bounty-Hunter-Crater-Strength-Pure-F2p.204865 (The editing is messed up from the copy over, you might as well go to the site and look for yourself) This teaches what a strength pure is, leads reader on choosing ideal stats for a strength pure, and then shows tips and tips and how to train a strength pure, from scratch until full potential. This guide will tell you what a strength pure is, what a strength pure's ideal stats are, teach what one wears, and how he PK's, and teach you how to embark on the long road to train one. This guide has nearly 10 pages of useful information on the topic, and will give you a basis for starting your own strength pure! Not only that, but if you need help, tips, or just are plain bored, you can pm me in-game. (my main account's username is included somewhere in this guide!) Read up! (And share this guide with others...) Enjoy! What is a Strength Pure? A pure is defined as someone who keeps skill such as defence, attack, or prayer low in order to have a low combat level while being able to pack a hard punch. A strength pure is very fun to PK with, but can take a frustratingly long time to train. Strength pures have to face their training dummies head on, and in doing so waste a lot of food (and a lot of time banking to get more food). Strength pures generally have 40 attack and high strength, but there are some mithril or admantite pures with only 20 or 30 attack and very high strength. Pros: Can hit the hardest out of all the pures. Cons: Weapons cost more than other types of pures. Takes the longest time and most food to train. The Making of The Strength Pure: Choosing the Stats This is the part where you decide on your pure's ideal statistics. When making your strength pure, you have certain choices to make: 1. Prayer To pray or not to pray? That is the question. Some people decide not to include prayer in their strength pures. This allows them to get their strength levels to 80 and beyond. However, getting 31 prayer allows you to use Ultimate Strength (15% boost to Strength) as well as Protect Item (Keep most valuable item if you die), so you will have about the same maximum hit either way, but with prayer you can keep up to 1 item if you die. Some people also get 43 prayer in order to be able to do Protect from Melee (and protect from Ranged and Magic). It's your choice. 2. Ranged Level Some pures will have 40 ranged in order to wear green d'hide chaps and vambs. (Green D'hide chaps and vambs provide 25 stab defence, 18 slash defence, 27 crush defence, while iron platelegs and gloves provide 11 stab defence, 11 slash defence, and 12 crush defence.) You have to choose whether or not the half hitpoints level is worth the extra (though minimal) protection. I think 40 ranged is worth the time and wait. 3. Magic Level Decide if you want 32 Magic for Bounty Hunter Locate (and Varrock Teleport) or not. In my opinion, it's totally worth it. Ideal Pures: Pure 1 (No Prayer): 40 Attack 80+ Strength 1 Defence 1 Prayer 1 or 40 Ranged 32 Magic Pure 2 (31/43 Prayer): 40 Attack 65+ Strength 1 Defence 31 or 43 Prayer 1 or 40 Ranged 32 Magic How to PK This is the part where you learn tips and tricks of Pking, as well as choose the right armour and inventory. Gearing Up: Choosing the Right Equipment The Weapons: You should have two weapons: your primary weapon, and your KO weapon. Your primary weapon will be the rune scimitar, because it is the fastest hitting weapon you can use. It is the perfect blend of speed and strength. Your KO weapon will be either a rune 2h sword or a rune battleaxe. Both weapons are slow, and should only be used to pack the knockout punch. The rune 2h hits the hardest out of any f2p weapon, but costs twice more than the rune battleaxe, which is one-handed and has a lower maximum hit than the rune 2h sword by 1. ...And Much Much More!
