  1. I think some of you are being mislead. Perhaps I should have cleared it up a bit better for you guys. I'm not trying to complete DT, only getting far enough to retrieve the Ring of Invisibility. I was curious about the quests/skills that were necessary to get this far and which ones I was able to bypass.
  2. I know there are ways around that though.. Like, rewards from the Waterfall Quest, and some others, you can skip the reward, thus not gaining unwanted XP, but still getting the next quest finished Yes. I know I can get the Amulet without finishing the quest but the question is, can I do what is needed in DT without finishing the quest... And other similar quests/requirements.
  3. Yes, I haven't begun hunter properly yet. Due to some quests, I've gotten it to lvl12 but want to rush it to lvl50. What's the best course of plan for me to take? Please detail your advise as I have never, ever leveled this skill.
  4. What's the best training experience for a 10hp character? I'm trying to get to 1-50 pretty quickly so I was just curious which steps I should take.
  5. Yes, I understood that part. I was just curious of what the bare minimum requirements had to be. Like, which quests had to be started/completed and which stats had to be met and what not.
  6. I've seen several Lvl24 (10 HP) characters with ghostly robes & I was thinking of doing the same for my mage pure as ranging won't effect my levels. Can someone list the minimum amount of requirements necessary for this quest (Which quests must be completed, how much ranging needed, etc etc).
  7. I can gain, I believe, up to 4-5 levels in other combat-based skills and be safe but I dare not even risk one for that matter. If I decide this isn't a hopeless cause, I'll try out the quest (as I've done the other prerequisites besides HAM) and report back.
  8. Since this is the 2nd remark on this, I'll ask further details. Where are these located and what level to thieve them?
  9. I'd have to relay only on books/lamps as casting spells gives hp experience...
  10. To clarify the matter, I'm not your average skiller, as seen from my signature. I have the obvious 1 att/def/str/pray/range & 10 hp, but I've gained magic attributes. My combat level will be 50 when I achieve 99 Magic. However, if I found it logically, I could have a combat level of 60 if I decided to spring for 70 Summoning.
  11. Is it possible to retrieve Summoning skills when being a skiller (more or less, just a 10hp character)? I've still got alot to read regarding Summoning but I think it boils down to the need for charms, which are untradeable. I know you can thieve charms but how often is it possible and what are some good areas for that. So, is it logically to say it is possible to gain a high amount of Summoning skills (say, 70 or so) for a character that has 10hp?
  12. How typical. Well, thanks for clearing this up for me. Really cleans up my To-Do list.
  13. I recently made a topic regarding how Jagex disabled the use of Recoils during Slayer tasks, but have they taken it one step further? I was doing the Elemental Workshop quest & was at the part where you needed to kill the Earth Elemental for the ore. So, I attempted to mine the ore, watch it transform into the Elemental, & repeated the 5 minute process of recoiling & caking. After the Elemental was destroyed, no ore was to be found. I thought this happened to be a fluke so I re-stocked and tried it again, which resulted in the same failure. Did Jagex disable the use of recoils, period? This might be a fluke but wanted to get advice before attempting again.
  14. So I guess I'm stuck with alching as my best option (as I don't care to do that cursing method)?
  15. Yes, because we all know Combat Skills are the hardest to achieve in the game
  16. Time > Money Haven't set a specific priceline but I'm easily duped into paying twice the price if I get it done in half the time, so to speak. It is my ultimate goal so I'm willing to put all other goals aside for this (I've got 60m set aside to finish up 99 Crafting, just incase). So, money shouldn't be an issue, the route is.
  17. Just because Jagex is being so 'anti-pure' lately doesn't mean it is necessarily right for them to keep destroying other's accomplishments. What's next, disabling lamps/books because it provides levels to skills that aren't trained? I can understand how Runescape is made to be combat-oriented and questing is the purpose of the game, but "the customer is always right" logic should fit here. What harm is it to have opposing goals?
  18. Just updated it. What other options do I have besides Alching, as it gets quite tedious after a while.
  19. Heard that Jagex disabled the use of Recoils Rings working for Slayer Tasks. Just wanted to get this confirmed before I begin. And if so, why the hell did they do that?
  20. I've heard, on several occasions, that the Teleother spells are a good source of xp and are a good route for training Magic (as opposed to High Alch). Can anyone confirm this is a good source of training? If so, what kind of prices are we talking to the journey of 99 Magic?
  21. Not to dig this back up, but does anyone have any clue on the how well Rune will be?
  22. Had a guy tell me his lvl3 skiller gained crazy Slayer experience from doing the Varrock Museum. I want to pull the BS Card on him but wanted to know how much experience a skiller could get from there?
  23. I know 10hp characters can do Shilo Village with provided recoils and such. However, I heard a rumor that it is best to have 'help' there, especially players to cast Vengeance. Is this really necessary or is it quite possible to do it yourself?
  24. Very nice. Out of curiosity, how much time do you think it took for 70-99? Not sure if you are smelting as well but you would of had to smith 327,914 steel bars.
