  1. I'm considering to go on a 99 Smithing journey. I'd like to know the Fastest method (regardless of price), the Cheapest method (regardless of speed), and the Effective method (50/50 between speed/money). This is for a 10hp character, so quests will be minimal.
  2. I'm afraid they are right. Your skills are too 'balanced' to have an easy time money-making. The best advice I can give you is set a skill goal and earn many that way. This can be done with either Woodcutting (and selling the logs), Fishing (and selling your catches), Mining (and selling the ores), etc etc. Hope that helps.
  3. Haven't played since the trade-limit adjustment. Are there any new outfits for a skiller? Preferably anything that'll look good with Cooking Cape + Bunny Ears.
  4. I haven't played since the trade-limit adjustment. Is there still a way for the nature running to work? Mainly need to know the best method for a 10hp character to do it. If not, what's the newest/fastest way for 10hp character to level Ruencrafting, from lvl44.
  5. Also, are the random nest eggs, for summoning birds, now tradeable? Or still untradeable?
  6. Probably been asking a million times & has been answered a million and one times, but I've got to know. Does Summoming effect your combat level? I heard rumors, before release, that it does and I'm just now getting back into playing RS since the release.
  7. Now that there is no longer PKing, is there still a world I can goto, F2P, that people will be in Edgeville and unload the fish I catch? I'm not 100% how this Bounty Hunter thing works, as I don't participate, but I just wanted to know if I have to drop them or if there was a world that people still go to.
  8. Got a question about the reward... "Reward: 10,000 exp in a combat skill of your choice." Does this include Magic? I'm a mage pure and cannot afford to gain Melee skills, but I need this for Recipe of Disaster.
  9. Well, I'm a mage pure (10hp) so I can do some quests that lvl3 skillers cannot. I also have extra advantage with Recoils + Curse against certain monsters if need be. Based on those skills, is there a quest I can do that'll make a better location or should I stick with Varrock?
  10. So from 41-70 Smithing, I could make 139K Iron Knives. 27,756 Iron Bars @ 200 each = 5.55m 27,756 Iron Bars = 138,780 Iron Knives 138,780 Iron Knives @ 25 each = 3.47m Total Loss = Roughly 2m This isn't as bad as 10m, but might take a bit longer to do. If I decided to go with Mith Bolt @ 53, this is what it'd look like: 41-53 Smithing = 18,570 Iron Knives. 53-70 Smithing = 120,210 Mith Bolts. 3,714 Iron Bars @ 200 each = 742,800 3,714 Iron Bars = 18,570 Iron Knives 18,570 Iron Knives @ 25 each = 464,250 12,021 Mith Bars @ 1.2K each = 14.43m 12,021 Mith Bars = 120,210 Mith Bolts 120,210 Mith Bolts @ 80 each = 9.62m Total Loss = Roughly 5.09m Not too much of a difference, if it is quite a bit faster. Anyone else have any other suggestions? And where is the best place to smith in F2P? And P2P for low-leveled skillers?
  11. So, based if I purchased all the Steel Bars at 550 each, I'd take a 10m hit in my pocket. There has the be a better way? I don't care about making money; I just don't want to lose an ample amount at one time.
  12. That means I'd have to make 3.7K Steel Plates. Do they sell decently because that's alot of 'junk' I don't want to be stuck with .. and alchemy would lose money.
  13. I'd like to know what is the quickest route for doing 41-70 Smithing. I'd figure it would be Steel bars but wasn't 100% sure. I do not have access to Gold Gauntlets. I was also told, a while back, doing Steel Bars -> Steel Plates -> High Alch was a great way but I noticed that Alch value of Plates were 1.2K but bars were now around 500-600 each. What is the current best way to level, f2p or p2p; doesn't matter.
  14. So using Sara Brews + Recoils could get me past quest monsters? Wow, I never thought of that, that could really help me out alot. As I'm new to the game (quit years ago) all my friends are long gone; does anyone officially help guide skillers through quests and such; for certain prices? Sadly, I never created a guide for this. I completed 99 Cooking before I journeyed to Tip.It. If you'd like, just PM me with any questions and I'll help you out. If I find the time, I'll perform a detailed guide on it; as detailed as my others.
  15. So I'm trying to get all the skills up on my Mage Pure as possible. Sadly, all combat is out of the picture due to 10 hp. I've seen some Skillers with decently high Slayer and was curious how. One of them told me Rings of Recoil. I was curious as to how this method work; if someone could explain it in detail. And with 10 hp, how high is it possible to get Slayer? I imagine the bigger monsters will be slightly harder to defeat.
  16. Ah yes, your one opinion makes this so. I failed to see the significance & power of your thought. Sadly, this was criticism at it's worst. You failed to explain and back-up your judgment therefore earned yourself nothing by posting. Your attempt to be the 'forum badass' failed miserably.
  17. I like this. While making this I had some additional ideas but failed to produce them as I just wanted to make a blunt suggestion. As far as minimum locations, I thought instead of making a new one we could simply make an old one more significant. I was thinking we could make the only location (or atleast one) at the Fishing Platform. This location is not very used and could be brought back to life if considered. Banking + Travel would make it a little more complicated thus making them rarer to the cause. Trawler was also an idea but wasn't sure how it would take on. Also, as far as pre-cooking, I thought we could go by Jagex's current emphasis of crabs. Use a knife on the Raw King Crab to produce Crab Armor (chiseled into shield, helm, or whatever) & then the Raw Crab Legs can be cooked. This'll shed more light of opportunities to make more Crab Armor & to make it more popular. We could even go as far as to make it so that the Crab Armor, once chiseled, to be F2P accessible to add to their benefit so that everyone wins.
  18. I've seen a guide that suggested Limestone is an excellent way to go as far as Construction leveling. I figured I'd take it from 5-33 using the basic Decorative Rock method. From there, I wasn't sure if I should switch to Oak Larders or stick with the former? Money isn't an issue with this, but I'd like the time frame to stay as little as possible; which usually costs more. Basic Calculations of 33-70 Construction 7,194 - Decorative Rocks 7,194 Limestones Minimum 277 Trips (excluding what helpers could bring me) 1,499 - Oak Larders 11,992 Oak Planks Minimum 461 Trips (excluding what helpers could bring me) Obviously, when I hit 50 I'll have a Demon Butler helping me out, so I'll be paying quite a bit with that. Can someone get me an estimated time frame between the two, total costs of each, & how much I'll be paying my Demon Butler from 50-70. Thanks!
  19. Read the Tip.It Item Database picture I manipulated. Says it heals 24.
  20. Goals 99 Magic (will be Level 50 Combat) All Stats 70+ (excluding the obvious) History Well, I started playing around the summertime of 2001. I played maybe a couple of times a week up until 2004; when school work got the best of me. I soon forgot all about the game & focused more on how things in life were going; up until about 2 months ago. My life balanced out and I finally re-established the relationship with my account. I left before the release of the Scythe but made it back in time for the Grim's Hood; everything in between I do not have. I did make out with several other things, as I'll explain further on. Rich or Not As you can see, I have roughly 80m cash & around 20-30m more in items. Where did this come from? Sadly, I did not earn this money. I was around for those hoarded Christmas Crackers and won myself a Purple Partyhat. I always kept it but never thought the worth would be so much. When I arrived back into the game and noticed the MAJOR price jump, I sold it in a hard beat. Spent some on skills, help out a few friends, & had a HUGE drop party to celebrate my belated 99 Cooking. No, I did not earn this the righteous way but it is what it is. The Pumpkin This sucker holds a strong sentimental value to me. Why? It was the first holiday drop I received and I felt I should keep it as long as my character is around. Some might find this really stupid and arrogant but it is the way I feel. If the pumpkin price goes up 10 fold, it'll still remain on this character until permanent retirement. Low P2P Skills I know, my P2P skills are exactly to be admired for but there is very good reasoning for that. I NEVER purchased membership for this account when I originally played on it. Why? I could list several reasons but the main one being money-flow problems. So, when I re-established it, I purchased membership for it within the first 2 weeks of playing on it. So, the current skills I have as of now is merely 1-2 months worth of work. I'll be doing much more in the near future so expect a new cape to be on my back before long. Thanks for sharing a few minutes to appreciate the work I've done & what I hope to have in the future.
  21. Sorry about that, I fixed it. Also, added some Support Bars for optional use.
