  1. Been a long time since I did Runecrafting, have a question about the Tip.It Calculator. When I plug in the level information and it gives me a rundown of how much experience I need for the given options, does the number mean that's how many Fire Runes I have to make or how many Ess have to be crafted or what?
  2. I'm always looking for ways to further my mage level without interfering with hit points. I shall further research this, or welcome advice regarding it.
  3. 1) Rune routes are extremely over-priced. I originally put my limit at 70m but I bumped it up to 110m just because I'm very adamant (no pun, I promise) about reaching this goal. However, I don't think I can willingly double that budget without some regret (and definite strain on other goals) 2) Am I correct to assume that Rune bolts do not sell very well in the Grand Exchange? I know I'm not the only one that thinks these to be over-priced so I'm curious. If they have a stable popularity about them, it could be considered.
  4. Not worried about money at the moment, just trying to find the quickest way to 60-70. If Fires are the fastest, I'll do it. I suppose, since the trade-limit was set, Nat Running is out of the game?
  5. I'm still bound and determined to give it premium consideration of earning 99 Smithing. I've done a detailed calculation sheet, that is completely rough and not at all accurate. What I need is some feedback, hopefully from experience, of how close I am with these estimations and any further advice before I begin. Also, a major need at this point, is some timeframe ideas of about how long this will take and/or how many bars I can smith within an hour. NOTE: For the sake of understanding the MOST amount of money I'd invest in such a task, I've put all bars I purchase at max amount & re-selling value at the lowest amount. Hopefully, it'll be somewhere in between but that is for another day. Level 70-73 = Mithril Bolts (1,501) Mithril Bar = 1,150gp - 1,271gp [1.9m] Mithril Bolt = 92gp - 101gp [1.38m] Total Loss = 500K Level 73-88 = Adamant Bolts (54,287) Adamant Bar = 2,235gp - 2,470gp [134m] Adamant Bolt = 202gp - 223gp [109.6m] Total Loss = 25m Level 88-99 = Adamant Platebodies (27,675) [138,379 Bars] Adamant Bar = 2,235gp - 2,470gp [341.7m] Adamant Platebody = 9,253gp - 10,226gp [256m] Total Loss = 85m 70-99 Smithing Total Loss = 110.5m Total Trips = 7,191 On a side note, all prices were retrieved from Zybez; whom I hope is pretty updated with the Grand Exchange. What I'd like to know, is there anyone who handles these items daily that could update me on how accurate these price ranges are. And if you feel my time could be better spent smithing something else, feel free to include that. EDIT Also, if I get really pinched for cash, I wrote this up as a secondary route. What I'd like to know is, how much time am I sacrificing instead of going the primary route? Time is money, and I'd definitely prefer to go the former route than to spend many more weeks of skilling. Level 73-99 = Adamant Bolts (192,665) Adamant Bar = 2,235gp - 2,470gp [475.5m] Adamant Bolt = 202gp - 223gp [389m] Total Loss = 86m Amount saved going this route = 24m Extra time spent skilling = ?To be determined
  6. Okay, so what's the quickest route to gain those extra levels I need for 54 (currently 44). And I have Enlightened Journey completed, is this the best method of traveling or what do you suggest?
  7. What's the best method for 10hp characters to gain Runecrafting experience? What's the quickest method, disregarding cost?
  8. I'll withhold my original impulse of what to say and merely say, "Thank you for your honestly." I'd hate to ignite further rantings of ignorant responses.
  9. Yes, you gave me an honest answer. But check the every other smart-[wagon] post from people who obviously have an issue with change. Instead of a simple "no", they had to open their mouth and show how ignorant they were. Fail.
  10. That's my point, though. Given a new title (for the sake of pleasing EVERYONE, apparently), I wanted to know the odds of the interest level. I could have called it the Photo Bamboozling and the content would have stayed the same. If it doesn't fit this forum's theme because there is alot of 'seriousness' going around, that is fine. Just don't preach to me that it isn't manipulation because, well, it is. +ePoints for trolling. You are hardcore, amigo. Hardcore.
  11. By all means, prove me wrong. Show me a TRUE example of 'Manipulation'.
  12. For those that need further visual aid: -Originals 1) 2) 3) -Manipulations 1) 2) 3)
  13. Gee, thanks? Read before speaking, pl0x. "See below for a basic example, provided by an eBaum participant." And so you know, it is very basic and shows the basis of what the system is on. Manipulation. Period.
  14. I looked around and didn't see, to my knowledge, of any Photo Manipulation Contests. Right now, I wish to try and gather some interest of people that might like to participate in such a contest. Read below for basics and rules. Rules Basically the same rules work around SOTW. You have a week to get the project in and then voting is to be held to establish a winner. The only difference is that there will be a picture supplied for you each week and you work off of it, not exactly "your own work". Your own work comes in with the manipulation you provide, which is described below. Basics If you participated in eBaum's famous version, you know how this works. Basically, I'd supply a new photo each week. Your task is to copy/paste the picture into a given photo-editing program of your choice (most commonly used is Photoshop or MS Paint). The general idea is to add/edit funny, clever, or randomness to the picture. See below for a basic example, provided by an eBaum participant. Example -Original -Manipulated Result So, I'd like to get an idea of the interest level here at Tip.It for such a contest. Just post your thoughts.
  15. Yes, I'm sure the details would be worked out later upon creations. Right now, you could call this a petition to see how many bodies would be rather interested in such an idea. The main result in such a clan would be the ability to relate to others like you, that have been in the game for quite some time. This helps find maturer members, more knowledgeable experiences, and just a good hang-out opportunity. Deep down, I don't feel this will go anywhere but I still felt I should try to find my fellow peers & unite. Please, prove me wrong.
  16. Just wanted to gather some interest on a Bunny Ears Clan. Description: Any rich player may purchase a pumpkin or a party hat, but only the true "oldies" have the proper representation of the Bunny Ears. Admired since their release, this specific Holiday drop shows the experience and dedication given to Runescape & establishing a clan based on that fact is my ultimate goal. Scythe: Though I do not own this marvelous weapon, I understand the relationship & bond it has with the Ears. This, alone, stood side-by-side with the Bunny Ears during the 2003-2004 Holiday Drop dilemma that Jagex faced; making it just as admirable. I'd be willing to consider the addition if the interest was high. Requirements: Ownership of Bunny Ears (or Scythe) Made it less like a recruitment thread. ~Dbzruler72
  17. Decided it was about time to start on Thieving now that I got most of my other skills up to 70. I know there is probably a guide for the best route, but I failed to find it. Feel free to link me or just let me know the best process. NOTE - This is for a 10hp character, so please don't include things that will put me into danger. I can bring along a fair amount of Recoils and Food, but still don't wish to be put into harm's way.
  18. I decided to go ahead and stop all my skills at 70. I don't mind spending some money to get this done ASAP, but I don't want to spend heaps. What's the quickest route to get this complete?
  19. Do Adddy Plates resell decently enough? If not, what about alching? What's my best choice?
  20. How well do Addy Bolts and/or Plates sell? If there is a market for them, might be worth getting into.
  21. Yes, I was advised to do Mith Bolts -> 70 but I guess I could do them to 73 and then switch over. I'll have to calculate the cost. Anyone else? EDIT - After calculating, 192,665 Adamant Bars are needed from 73-99. Surely, there is a quicker way?
  22. Let's put it this way, I'm willing to spend up to 70m for completion, if necessary. What do you recommended?
