This is the same thing as saying Zezima should get his own private server because he's ranked #1 skill total. Want to hear some good news? He does have his own private server, and you can have one too! Those little buttons at the bottom of the game window that say "Public Chat", "Private chat", and "Trade/compete" are the controls for turning it on and off! For simple instructions, click each of these buttons until their caption is "Off". Then, begin playing like usual. If you want to go back to a public server, repeat step 1 until the caption is "On". Those buttons and "Ignore" are in the game for more than to look pretty, they control who you want to talk to and if you care to put up with noobs. I don't know about you, but I'm always training on my private server.

If you haven't heard the story already, runescape was originally intended to be a free game. Then around christmas of some year I can't remember, Jagex almost went bankrupt. Enter members, exit finance problems. I'm also guessing you haven't been around very long, f2p has gotten MANY updates, even after p2p was around. They could've left f2p in the dust the second they started up members, but they didn't. No, f2p got many updates back in rs1, you just weren't around for them. In my opinion, f2p shouldn't have gotten rune crafting (although this may have been a ploy by tricky jagex to get people to put more runes into the economy... conspiracy pl0x?). Nor should they have gotten random events that benefit you (golems, tree spirits, and river trolls are all f2p should've gotten), or arrows other than bronze. F2p is spoiled as it is, and before anybody gives me any "You're just saying that because you're a member!", I'd like to inform you I'm not a member, and I think we f2per get pampered/treated like kings. If anything, P2p should get MORE updates, because 5 bucks for a game that's totally "playable" for free is a hefty cost to me.

This is a great idea, and while I wouldn't want to foot the bill, I'd definately try to get in some "castle wars" (hah, a pun!). EDIT: Indeed, that is not a pun, but rather, the real title. I have been officially owned.

I seriously hope not. Free-players doesn't have enough bank space to have big group, so it can't be free-player's stuff. free players may have more stuff than they can fit in their bank... :roll: Id you're f2p, you probably shouldn't. I'm f2p, and here's a rundown of what's in my bank: Chaos runes, Air Staff, Earth Runes, Full Iron, A few rune weps, 2 ammies and like 3 different kinds of gems, lobs and swords ^^ Above setup takes less space than most banks filled with useless stuff.. The only other thing you may want to have is silver light, but I threw it away because I don't fight many demons, and maybe some str pots. Seriously, just calculate everything you want to do to the dot and your bank will be completely empty. If you don't want to take the time to put some numbers in a calculator, well, I can't say too much for you.

If I remember correctly, someone asked about their age and jagex told them they couldn't tell character ages because it was being used for selling runescape characters in real life. But if what you just posted was more recent, that's very good, I can't wait for them to develop this.

Y'know, I really, really like this idea, it's pretty well thought out for the most part. However, I do have some problems with it, the first being that most ISPs require you to sign up (or even pay for) static IPs. Since most people have no reason to want a static IP, their IPs will change, and they will not be able to access RS. I suppose using a proxy might work, but it's still not a very good idea, because I'm not sure how to connect to a proxy in Firefox. The second problem, is people changing ISPs. Short of buying the service in advance, and registering for your static IP, you may not get that IP back. The third problem, is proxies. I think anyone who knows whats proxies are understands why this would be a problem, and I'm not sure how to explain it in a way that makes it easier to understand for those people who don't know what proxies are. Google it for info and see if you can't figure it out in a few seconds.
