What specifically didn't you like about it? I ask because the first time I rented it I hated it, but the second time it wass great. Also, how far did you go? I had to get the sattelite for Radio News Galaxy, and I just hate the gameplay and the monsters. I had it on very easy and it was still a problem. I hardly ever had much ammo, always used a combat knife. I got sick of searching through abandoned metros to my next objective. Only thing I did like were those guys in the cool armor and the helmets. Brotherhood of steel paladins I think. I do want to know what happened about his father. Thats odd. The entire point is to survive rather than get everything at the beginning and be godly. I guess its based on preference, but I find it rather odd that people aren't satisfied with look. And the satisfaction of finding what you needed was great. Also, you don't have to search for your next objective through means of wandering--you could use your pip boy's world map and follow the marker. Just really wasn't my kind of game. I usually play shooters and RPG's such as Final Fantasy and Last Remnant.

I got the Gateway number, which was 24.166.96.1 and put it in the adress bar with http:// I no longer have my modem manual and its not wireless. Im just trying to enable my DHCP for my direct connection for Xbox Live.

I rented Fallout 3, and didn't like it. These type of games like Morrowind and Fallout 3 I really hate. Just not my kind of games. Of course, for who does like these kind of games, it looks promising.

I was just getting to the boat in the Death Toll campaign when like 100 infected, a tank, a hunter, and a smoker began like practically raping me. Edit: So what are your guys favorite weapons to carry? For me its 2 pistols, an automatic shotgun, and a pipe bomb.

On the Fallout 3 note, I didn't like that game. Probably just the fact I don't like Bethesda games, didn't like morrowwind neither.

I just beat the game on the 360, which took 4 days on normal, and im kind of disappointed. The game was hardly a survival-horror, more action, and I found the ending cliche. It was fun, and when it was said to be like RE4, I didn't think so literal. You end up with beginning-game Majini onslaught like the Ganado-village attack on RE4, which is no problem, but helped me realize its almost just like RE4 with a new person and some tweaks in the story. Jill being the masked lady under control was a bit lame, and she looked like she belonged in the Fantastic 4. Fighting Wesker ON A VOLCANO was practically the worst idea ever. What plane crashes on a freaking volcano? And Jill and Josh come to save the day in their helicopter, who knows how they found Chris and his not-very-sharp partner. Im making the game sound alot worse than it is, but I can't help that. It was pretty fun and sort of a blast. I personally didn't mind the not-very-scary flaw because Resident Evil tends to have creepiness that repels me from it, but that's my two cents. Just like Games Radar stated, RE5 is to RE4 as RE3 Nemesis is to RE2. Overall a good game, but Capcom trying to entertain it's fans by adding a new feeling wasn't a good idea, the formula for all the previous was near perfect. How do you get scared in a sunny African village anyhow?

This games sweet. That first part was a bit hard though, and I like the free weapons aswell :D I like the fact that switching weapons by pressing Y doesn't pause, makes it feel more real. Also keepin Sheva stocked on ammo is pretty cool too.

Today's the big day. In 4 hours I will practically fly to Bestbuy for my copy. I hope its long.

stevepole, RE4 was an awesome game with a great storyline, man! You gotta atleast rent this game. I'm buying it the day it hits the shelves, RE4 was great and it looks like they tweaked some things to make the gameplay a little smoother such as changing your weapon. RE4 was great? That's what I keep on hearing, that the Wii version is one of the best games for the console. So having never played a RE game before (but knowing what they were about) I decided to buy it. Worst game purchase I ever made, the controls for the game make it unplayable. Apparently everyone thinks the Wii controls are great though. I've tried to play it three times now, I can't go more than about half an hour before throwing my controllers in frustration. The third time I decided I just must not understand the Wii controls, so I tried a GC controller, and I didn't think it was possible but the controls were worse. Why does everyone think it is so great? Someone please tell me, it's been bugging me for a while now. Getting it for the Wii was a bad idea. My Wii is currently collecting dust alongside my 360, I beat RE4 on PS2. Much better. Or maybe its just not your kind of game.
