  1. I am an f2p player. I have been training on akous ever since I was level 80. Since resupplying your food is easy (fish from the river in Barbarian village) and the drops from ankous are impressive, they are worth the effort. Even better, they are no where near as crowded as lesser demons or cockroach soldiers, so you basically get free dibs on them; that means easy XP. I sell a large percentage of what these ankous drop on the GE. So far, the most I have made is over 126 million from that in one week. I highly encourage f2p players to use ankous for training, and they are also good for medium level p2p players. The best part (in my opinion) is that burying the ankou bones frequently summons random events, giving you lots of free gems and runes. After you are teleported back from the events, the ankous become agressive again, saving lots of mouse clicks and making xp accquisition faster. By the way, ankous are vulnerable to the crumble undead spell. Enjoy slaughtering skeletons.
  2. I'm sure several other players have encountered this before the trading and reporting updates, but I've encountered these even after the updates. Noob: Give me your rune items for free or I will report you forty times. Me: Sorry, even if I wanted to, I could not. Did you ever read about the trade restrictions. Noob: Yuz lyin Me: Try reading the Jagex news database or knowledge base, they will tell you everything. Noob: I'm warring you.......... Noob: Doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo (continued in Jeaopardy style) Me: Do you need to go to the lavatory that bad? There should be one near your console somehow. Noob: Five seconds. Me: Even if you wanted to try and report me, you could do it only once, then wait several minutes. Noob: Fine, be that way. As of now you are reptored by me and 39 of my friends. (I report him for misuse of customer support) Me: Enjoy your day on RS noob, it might be one of your last (I teleport out). It's been a year so far and I have never been banned. I bet he was blackmarked at least. It's a good thing this is not a US based game. Blackmail is a federal crime.
  3. Note to the posters. As a third degree brown belt and winner of five martial arts medals, I can tell you obesity is not all bad. Sure you might be slower than others and not fit super slim clothing, but the extra mass makes defeating slimmer players of equal skill level very easy. Even better, the extra padding makes you more resistant to injury. I also know that airlines charging extra on obese folk will only hurt thier sales; flyers will just take tickets from a different carrier. Sorry to disappioint all of the nutritionists and gym owners out there, but I doubt this airline surcharge will do much good.
  4. To train my archery, I use arrows to attack the hobgoblins on the island across from the crafting guild. Selling the runes and limpwurt roots they drop on the GE more than pays for the arrows.
  5. What I have been doing is using the mithril ores dropped by ankous (the bottom level of the Stronghold of Security) and smithing those into items. Whichever items you want to smith is at your discretion of course. I can usually buy the coal for a cheap price and sell the smithed items (usually mithril armor sets) for a decent profit. While I do not do this too often (I am not ultra-concerned about smithing). I have made large amounts of money and received decent xp for it.
  6. The best "safe spots" are the stelagmites at the far end of the ice cave (by the ice giants) and the other stelagmite outcropping near the front of the caves, where you can safely mage ice warriors. While I do not use mage often, I have used these "safe spots" for practicing mage+defense.
