AL would love to have you! We have been around for around a year and a half, and have an active, mature community. Forums | Runehead What is Ancient Legion? Ancient Legion was founded on April 15th, 2008 by two brothers. Since then, AL has been an always growing community, with an average of 5~10 new members per month. We have been estabilishing alliances with major clans on Runescape clanning community as we climb the ranks. AL has as some of their main purpose being a friendly commuity, as well becoming notable among other clans. Why should you join AL? We schedule form 4~5 events/week (not counting short-notice events) and a constant of 1 warring (or war practice) per week. You won't find a friendly community with that rate of warring, and by joining Ancient Legion, you won't have to decide between activity and community. [*:11bj3xs7] Although most of our events are F2P, we do schedule P2P events, and even a newbie trial member can schedule and request a headline for their own event, whether it be a minigame or a made up game. [*:11bj3xs7] We have medium combat requirements (see below) and low item requirements, making it easy to become a Full Member once accepted. [*:11bj3xs7] As every Runescape player, we strive for recognition as well notableness from the other clans, and as such, if you want to become famous, help and be helped to reach that goal, we are the right place for you. [*:11bj3xs7] Other clans' staff are often offline or unreachable, or use their rank to get distance from the other members. In AL, our High Council members are as members as any other. They hardly use their rank powers, and are always accessible, willing to help or talk. [*:11bj3xs7] Feats on the clan are NOT unnoticed. We are one of the few clans that award Clan Award Points for each good feat you do on the clan. It doesn't have to be anything big. Great tanking, winning contests or even being accepted from Trial to Full member award you these points! What do we do? Most clans would say: Wars, Monster trips and PK trips... But that's always the same thing... We are better. Ancient Legion vs. Imperial ForcesPre-war Despite the fact we've been pulling really well and doing great in recent wars, Ancient Legion has always seen Imperial Forces, a 95+ clan, as a tough clan to fight. We were looking for a challenge and declared on IF and settled on the following rules. Fullout knockout Clan Wars Classic Pots, food and prayer ALLOWED Melee + ranged + binds North portal attacks Rings allowed, no infinite run No clan friends or allies [Pull] We were really pumped for this one and managed to get a strong pull. AL's Starting Total opts: 66 Average level: 94 IF's Starting Total opts: 30 Average level: 106 The War Ancient Legion started by piling Dark Cuddles (98) who was koed instantly. IF piled Kid Damon (94) who managed to tank the entire war. AL moved from person to person and managed to get KOes on Redup2 (109) and Appricoute (117) which really helped us out. From a starting of 22-10, the war ended 20-0, with our two deaths being from DCs. This was our best performance in clan history. :D Thanks for the fight IF!

All combat styles Rings allowed, no infinite run No food Pots and prayer are allowed No clan friends/Runehead only 30 Minute Turrets PKRI, most kills at end wins Whoever pulls more (AL) attacks Ancient Legion was coming off a tough loss to TPL last week in a war with the same rules, so we were pumped and ready for this one. Pre-war Ancient Legion got a strong pull of 22 members. Total opts: 66 Average level: 89 Didn't get a pic for TZ's pull, but here where the people who I saw. The Random Events article was well thought through, the story was entertaining. The mole article was good except for one little thing. It tells you to poison the mole, but what has happened to me is that i poison it, it digs away, and the poison kills it before I can find it, so I don't get the loot. If you don't poison it, it will take longer to kill, but you will get the loot.

AL dropped out. Like last time, we drew a 107+ clan (we are 60+) and the other clan and us decided that it would be a waste of time for both parties. It's unlikely we'll be participating in future activities like this because we've been consistently matched with clans whose reqs are 45+ ours.

I think that pjing is part of Pking, and we all have to deal with it. Great drops.

The problem with mage at high levels in PvP is that the hit is capped, and it is very easy to avoid getting koed by a mage, as you know exactly what they can hit. Mage can be very good, but it is also very expensive, and you might not get great kills if you don't have another combat form. Hope I helped. :D
