RuneScape Information

  1. i really enjoyed the first article, i never really knew the way that the duping was done... i just begged and got nothing! keep up the good writing! -_-_-_-Agentkiller4-_-_-_-
  2. new non PVP weps and amours are a good ideia, but that would call for better range and mage to keep in fair and that would most likely overpower everything on a hp basis so they would have to be below barrows or have bad range/mage defences for all those people who said to make weps more accurate, not stronger is completely useless (keep a low str boost and a high accuracy boost [slash att bonus for whip's sake] and for god sake, stop training str and get att up so you can stop complaining about 0s..... try it, it works
  3. http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=metal_dragons.htm#why i belive this is the main melee section of the guide
  4. yeah, as said above drags are good, i would suggest greens due to the fast trip speed (preferably the chaos tunnel dragons) otherwise, brine rats are good xp but slower cash (lots of noted lobs deaths and sharks) if you have the slayer level i would also try ranging abbarent spectres as they drop good herbs in the end, green dragons would be probablt the fastest you could get without merching or boss hunting
  5. Yeah, Ne 1 rember when addy came out? im shure jagex giggiled on how much we worshipped it. i liked the systems on rs1 better (rember when spam clicking a rock with a bronze pick got the ore really fast?) their wasnt eating while killing and nearly no running from a bow in the wild =+] good old days... hopefully the new JaGeX CEO does something original with the rs2 systems (he actually admitted to creating a dumed down and childish game) and thats a start
  6. heh, i couldent even imagine how long ive played for i would love to see it if i could if i had to guess at how long ive played is probably 100,000 hours ive played from the beta (1999 devious mud) until today (more hours than anyone could count lol)
  7. power ammy all the way i like its ballance and ive allways been a def noob allong with the bunch so it just seems more rational to use power ammy. just my opinion (i find that pures are ignorant to worship strength and think it holds all the answers btw)
  8. exactly my point and ty for the impot...i hope it stops getting worse lol
  9. That is equivalent to saying that newer players or younger players wouldn't be able to kill boss monsters effectively, do quests, or level a skill efficiently because older players had more experience at those sorts of activities. you seem to love flaming virturally *everyone's* posts
  10. their was a time that you could kill people pvp allmost everywhere.....now that was fun the lazyness of not being able of saying "selling rune plate 45k" is kinda sad judging that my major income was merch b4 ge and yes it is faster...but an unworthy trade off to:floodfight merching is much slower...merchs could make easily 10m a day off a measly blue mask b4 ge and i dont wana dig through the rs news pages and scan 3 years worth the qoute was from memory
  11. Zierro, The things u said were rwt's fault i said "partly" in my statement, they had the newer/younger population in mind also.....grand exchange is not beneficial to all players...i lost my whole merching career to it along with the limits and i along with many others wish it wasn't there
  12. i do realize this and yes you are right...but the child friendly safeguards are kinda becoming overdone along with the amount of childish updates [*:r5neigdd] you can blame the pking removal partly on the children [*:r5neigdd] you can blame the excessive warning signs and wildy ditch on children [*:r5neigdd] you can blame the trade limit partly on chldren [*:r5neigdd] you can blame the grand exchange most definitely on children so there you go...some facts also.......what do you call smoking kills? and hmm that thing on global warming? its almost like runescape is trying to be a child's educational game
  13. btw...yes this is debatable...my pictures show that they are making it more friendly to children and thats a fact...the warning signs are geared for children don't you see how the graphics got more child friendly? its not a guess or an estaminet that runescape was going to have blood and gore (aimed for 16+) when they came out with rs2 jagex states: "we need to formulate our updates to better suit the current runescape audience" thats why jagex took out all the mature content...and started forming a child's game from an intended 16+
  14. well heres my little reminder on how the age group of RuneScape is declining along with the game content....and the content shows that Jagex knows theirs people 9-6 years old playing [hide=Stage One] rs was just starting with the one week beta in 1999 i had the joy of perticipating in... RuneScape was called Devious MUD Back then. Runsecape was mainly 16+ oriented and had many/majority 20+ there were no warning signs except for a measly wilderness pop up... Jagex didn't care what happened to you this was before Jagex gave up on gore as you can see...[/hide] [hide=Stage Two] RuneScape's age group dropped to around 13-14+ but still remained a good, enjoyable and decent game to play warning signs started to appear in the odd places and wasn't overdone[/hide] [hide=Stage Three] Warning signs became invasive and overdone, The Grand Exchange appeared and Anti-Scam was released ruining most things the old players found fun and profitable RuneScape's age group dropped to around 7-15 yrs. of age average[/hide] the future looks bleak.... do you think it may ever stop or even rewind? please poste your arguements.
