  1. In the final step it states the following: "Find the dark totem pole east from the pool, and use your own totem pole on it. Before you do so, make sure you're ready for the last battle ... When you've killed the demon for the last time, you just need to talk with Gujuo once again, and then head back to Radimus and he will give you your reward inside the guild." Before talking to Gujuo again, you'll need to use your totem pole on the dark totem pole one final time in order to replace it. Proof-shot:
  2. In the "Bank" box before step 10 under "Making the Potion," it says ogre bellows and dyes are required. These aren't needed for step 10, they've already been used by step 9. However, for step 10 and 11, antipoison potion should be in the required or suggested items box when collecting the coal-tar. I'd put it under 'required' because it's in that box for step 1. Hope this makes sense. :P
  3. Don't have my "Examine" shot  But the examine says "Issued by Simon Templeton." Perhaps someone can verify with a picture if need be. Artefact Receipt:
  4. Here are the pictures I have from the conversation with the Customs Officer. Don't know if they help, though - they don't prove anything technically. BTW, the guide worked for my brother. First Response: http://img405.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... werti9.jpg His Response: http://img244.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... ut2td8.jpg I then answered the question about the Gnome Promise and he responded: http://img244.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... ut3bp2.jpg
  5. I've been doing Rocking Out and the part where you talk to the Customs Officer in Rimmington near the start kind of misled me. I'm not sure if I read the guide wrong, but this is how it was for me: When asked about the Saucy Wench, I had to say "That's one of your ships." He then laughed and responded "Okay you got me." Then when asked about the Gnome's Promise I had to respond with something not in the guide (don't remember what because my print-screen got erased). Only then would he respond with "You ARE a pirate!" and arrest me. So I am not sure if it's just that I didn't understand the guide or what, but my options were different to the guide. I have screens of what I said, but that doesn't really help you much. Perhaps someone else can check when they do the quest? I don't mean to waste crewbies' time, but just maybe it's worth checking or elaborating a little in the guide. Perhaps, it's different for each player which response will work? I dunno, just thought I'd point it out because my replies were different.
  6. At the bottom of the "In Pyre Need" quest guide by the Phoenix Daily Combat Guide it says "This is a NOT a safe area..." It should not have "a" before and after "NOT," only after it. [Ddraiggoch06]
  7. The (Hard) Varrock diary rewards now include the option to switch your Varrock teleport location to just in front of Grand Exchange.
  8. The Desert Treasure guide needs an important note added to it for the fight against lvl-167 Fareed in the Smoke Diamond part. I would definitely add a note to warn players to pray melee against him regardless of what combat style they choose to use against him. His melee hits in low to mid 30s (33 against me) and I was wearing Guthans. He rarely uses his magic attack and even so, it only and hits around 5 - 10 on my melee armor. Anways, just figured it would help players in deciding what attack style to use against him. I do not have any proof shots if you need them -- was too busy staying alive. #-o
  9. I think it should be noted on the hunting guide that summoning a spirit larupia, graahk, or kyatt gives an invisible +5 hunting boost according to Jagex and would improve success while hunting chinchompas, etc. May not allow catching implings and others above one's hunter level, but I'd be happy to test it if it is requested.
  10. On the Grim Tales quest guide it advises you bring "antiposion" as one of the items for the quest. It's misspelled. ;) [pokemama - thanks, fixed]
  11. The range guild has prices listed for all the store items, but the prices now fluctuate according to the Grand Exchange, so all the listed prices are incorrect. Perhaps it could link to the item price on the item database itself or just remove the prices completely.
  12. Just a quick note that might want to be added to the firemaking and/or woodcutting guide: Using ring of fire and flame gloves adds the extra firemaking experience when burning logs, but also adds the extra experience when the adze incinerates the log.
  13. On the rare items guide, down toward the bottom where it details the cornucopia, it says the size of your turkey emote depended on the player's mage level...is this a typo? The size of the turkey is the same for every player unless the glitch at the time cause the turkey to become a fuzzy "beast" that could scare even the Corporeal Beast. The glitch was caused by lighting a log then performing the emote while lighting the log. But as far as I know, there is no difference in the size of the emotes varying by player.
  14. Just a heads up that where it says there are 6 locations for non-members and 8 for members, it lists "earth" twice. Therefore, making it 7 for F2P and 9 for P2P =]] Earth needs to be removed once from the list. If credit is given, please give it to 1st_Archer00.
  15. In the guide for the Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest, there's a small but important detail missing. I was speaking to some of my friends and several of us had the same issue: we all forgot Karamjan Rum isn't "teleportable." I think a reminder in the guide that you have to WALK or RUN from the shop where you buy the rum to the brother who asks for it would be a good idea. Using the carts on Karamja to Shilo Village does not work either.
  16. I posted about this correction needing to be made before, but I think it might have been overlooked. The calculations when it comes to turning in 10 or 100 points at once are off by quite a bit. The calculation when it comes to submitting 100 points for a skill around lvl 73 approximates about 130k xp to be received from the 100 points. Not all to correct :) The estimation of xp gained from turning in 10 pts at a time is fair, but the amount for turning in 100 points is not even close. For example: If I turn in 100 points individually for a lvl 73 skill, I receive 30,200 xp according to the calculator. If I turn in 100 points in a set of 100 for the same skill, I receive 129,503 xp according to the calculator (329% bonus for turning in a set as opposed to individual points). I understand it's virtually impossible to make these calculators and planners 100% accurate, but this particular issue is severe, so I figured a heads up might be a good idea.
  17. I'm posting this here becuase I could not find where / if there was a page for corrections / suggestions for the varrock and karamja achievement diaries. If there is could someone please tell me where it is so I know for future, but I had a post I wanted to add. On the diaries, it doesn't say anything about not being able to receive assistance for the tasks. E.g. smithing the addy med helm in varrock or planting the poison ivy bush is not able to be assisted. Just thought this might be a useful piece of info to add. Thanks!
  18. Under Step #5: Where it comes to the point where you use the barrel on Ana for the first time (right when you first see her). If you choose to talk to her, when she asks you how you plan to escape, don't select the option "I have the key" or else the guard will hear you and you will be thrown into a jail cell in the mine. To get out of the jail cell, you will then have to mine 15 rocks in one go (this may force you to drop some items in your inventory). This is not a necessity to the guide, but I figured it would be good for people to know or else they might be forced to drop some items they might not want to drop.
  19. Also, in the list of required items it says "22000-3000 gp." Think this is incorrect...unless something was done that I didn't do. :) I think there's one too many 2s in that (2000-3000gp). Just thought that might need a correction. Happy Questing!
