  1. Thanks! ;) These corrections have been made.
  2. Thanks for your correction. A crewbie will correct this once it has been confirmed either by a screenshot in game or until another player confirms it. I will try look into this and see what can be done. Thanks again.
  3. Thanks for the correction! This has been corrected and the changes will appear soon.
  4. Hi! Thanks for the submission. From my personal experience, oak planks are more cost effective in training Construction. While cost effectiveness does not always go hand in hand with speed of training, oak planks are still cheaper than teak planks in every aspect. They may not necessarily be faster, but there's a price to pay for speed in any skill. From my studies: Logs (XP).....GP.................................................................GP/XP Oak 60xp......588gp (buying oak planks)................................9.8gp/xp better Teak 90xp.....883gp (buying teak planks)...............................9.811gp/xp Oak 60xp......250gp (making planks without buying logs).........4.17gp/xp better Teak 90xp.....500gp (making planks without buying logs).........5.56gp/xp Oak 60xp......306gp (buying logs and making planks)..............5.1gp/xp better Teak 90xp.....639gp (buying logs and making planks)..............7.1gp/xp I understand oaks are not particularly faster; however, they are more cost effective versus the XP gain you get from teak planks. I will discuss this with the crew. Thanks again. - Speedyshel
  5. I think that is a "known bug" as mentioned in Cowman_133's post. "Marking off subquests or all subquests will not mark the main quest as being done." So your calculator still interprets that you need to do those quests even though you've done all of the subquests. Basically, in the calculator's current state, it does not recognize that you have in fact completed those quests despite that you have marked off all the subquests.
  6. Yes, as far as I can remember, that door in the dungeon is only unlocked after you've come through the door from the other side. So if you die while attempting to slay Elvarg the dragon, you will have to repair the boat again as the guide says.
  7. This has been fixed and you have been credited. Thank you!
  8. This has been edited. Thank you for the correction! :)
  9. The calculator correctly calculates your stats as being 130 combat. I think you probably hadn't refreshed your stats before hitting "Tip Me" so it calculated with your previous ones. It's always a good idea to double check your stats to be sure it's pulled your most recent into the calculator. ;) I'm locking this topic, but if you have any questions, please feel free to PM me or another crewbie. Thanks!
  10. Thank you for your submission. However, in order for us to add an item to the list of potential drops by a certain monster, we need a proof shot just to confirm it. If you wouldn't mind submitting a screen-shot of the drop when you next get it, we would be happy to add it to the database. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or another crewbie. Thanks for the submission.
  11. Yes this has happened to me before too. It should be good in about two hours or so. If you're lucky, maybe even sooner. Happy Superheating! :P
  12. This feature has been added to the Herblore calculator. Thanks for the suggestion!
  13. Thank you for the correction. This has been fixed and you have been given credit. :)
  14. We have added this to the guide. Thanks for the correction.
  15. You also might do a comparison between sandstone and granite. For example, I'm 70 mining and I get 2.85k xp/5mins (34.2k xp/hr) with sandstone and 3.2k xp/5 mins (38.4k xp/hr) with granite, so you might want to throw figures like that out there for users to see various methods they can use and how efficient they are. Perhaps at various lvl, what the avg xp/hr rate is. But I'm a numbers fanatic, so some may think that's an overkill :D

  17. Ok I think I'm resurrecting this thread haha. As soon as my mem renews, I'll be happy to crush a few gems to test this too. Pokemama, did you manage to test it out? If not, I'll play around with it soon and see what numbers I get. Jagex states the numbers as follows: http://www.runescape.com/kbase/guid/crafting_jewellery#precious_gems Uncut Opal: 15 if successful and 3.8 if crushed Uncut Jade: 20 if successful and 5 if crushed Uncut Red Topaz: 25 if successful and 6.3 if crushed I can still confirm it if we need, might just be a week or so before I get it.
  18. Hey, took this Dragon Pickaxe Pic the other night. It's what I have right now, I can get a better one perhaps, otherwise if someone else has already submitted a good image, that's cool too. Just thought I'd do it while I could.
  19. His opening sentence was to define addiction, including physiological symptoms. I believe that was the author's intent, to make a case for gaming addiction through his own story. Ok, well call it what you may, you can be addicted to something and still not see physical symptoms. Just one's lifestyle and mental health can show it. Guess that's what I was saying is that it doesn't HAVE TO be physical to be an addiction. And good luck on National Merit Goldenramoth!!
  20. I thought the article on the addiction was really good. I think so many comments on the article have overthought it. When he said addiction, he didn't mean necessarily one that'll make you sick when in withdrawals. It's simply a matter of whether you give priority to Runescape over other things or not. I think many comments above are simply trying to justify why they can spend sooo long on the game and not say it's cause the game has them hooked. -.- But that's just my take on it. Great article!
  21. Wow nice update. Thanks for looking into it! And thanks a bunch for sharing what you did.
  22. Hey!! You're back from hiding? If you wouldn't mind letting me know what was up with it, I'd greatly appreciate it. Just that I'm in that field and always eager to learn new things. If it's not allowed or not possible, I understand. Thanks!
  23. Nice breakdown. Let's try keep editing this one. ;)
