Im just wondering, now that im making a rune pure right now (although its my first one), how important is 45 defence over 40? also how important is the torso over a rune platebody? I just dont see that it could be that important for several combat levels just to wear a zerker helm, and that a torso, which really has worse defensive stats compared to a rune platebody, just for a measely +4 str bonus. good guide i like the melee version of killing wyvrens, but also for lower level players, they can take pineappple pizzas instead of monks as pizzas heal 6 hp more than monks and are only about 200ish gp more i think so they will still prob get covered by the bone drops

Well, if you're confined to the Brimhaven dungeon, just stay in the same area of 2-3 spawns (3 instances of 2-3 spawns that make good slayer spots) and after 15 minutes or around a dozen dogs they'll go unaggressive. Annoying, but the rest of the task is easy. You could always try the wilderness in either the lava maze or the cage outside the KBD lair. Revenants are no threat with a ladder right there, just run into kbd lair (bring an antifire shield). Also there's a portal to the west of it. I blocked them even though the dogs don't attack me because they're slow exp and far overcrowded, plus the charms aren't all they're cracked up to be (same as hellhounds). But I recommend lower levels block tasks with high defense first, and stick out the greater tasks. ^thx might just do that

is there anything you recommend about killing greater demons. I know theyre a great xp task but i just cant stand the dogs and i would rather not range them because that makes that task like 2-3 times as long. although i might just use your tip of not blocking them but just canceling them whenever i get them.

the gorillas really aren't that great - they have high defense and can't use salve... crowded too; only good if you can use black mask on them then use full melee void on those gorillas, i just dont get y u want to use this spot, which u have to use prayer pots for, when there are so many other training spots where u can get pretty much the same bonuses w/out prayer potions.

still just for a 10k xp bonus from ur familiar really isnt worth using prayer potions for i just really dont get this because if u train at the monkey gurards, u can constanly use piety, giving nearly the same att/str bonus as a salve (e) ammy and burst of strength (if thats what ur talking about) if u have to tele ever couple of minutes or waste prayer potions

lol y dont u go buy 1m blue d hides and tan them, then try to sell them lol. look on the forums, nobody buys them. but this is a really good guide i bought like 6k last night and sold for the max on ge immediatel (87 gp ea) u can prob make a lot of money per hour i would say, 400-450k per hour maybe, the thing is its almost impossible for me to do this for and hour, and u only make 130 gp off of each green d hide now too

also if u want faster xp than the normal monkey guards with proselyte, take full melee void and use piety

are u using piety, cause if ur not this place is kind of useless with the shadow dt dungeon. I train there sometimes with a bunyip and i dont have to touch the mouse or the keyboard for practiacally 40 minutes until it runs out, then i summon another. After that one i tele w/games necklace to barbaria and recharge my summoning pts there

ss=whip whip + defender > ss so dont waste ur money

what about rune daggers
