Well.. it isn't actually wise to use up the last chance appeal, unless you have exactly 10 black marks and you havent commited any major offenses. But in that case.. well.. then I guess either try to contact them buy a player-mod you know or via jagex's own e-mail, as it's cearly said that once you use up your last chance appeal you won't be able to send them any more letters.

No.. means that if ur acc has been banned for 2 years and u send a letter to jagex, they most likely will unban you. In case of serious offenses, it wouldn't hurt if you had a player-mod friend who could confirm that you are a changed person. Jagex doesn't unban any1 by deafult, you have to put in some effort if you want to be unbanned. So far all the people I know who have been banned for 2years+ and have send a proper letter to jagex asking for forgiveness etc. have been unbanned.. that includes autoers, scammers, advertisers.. etc. I think Dessert is the best example - ranked nr.1 offender in the largest mass ban of rs history and now happily unbanned.

Because he is unbanned now. Perm ban in rs lasts usually 2 years.. astro - jagex planned to make rune purple, but it would have been alot like mith, so they decided to change it to cyan. I played during the time rune items were released and I don't recall them actually being purple in game...

umm.. no.. don't have the time nor the skills to make a private server. Besides - why bother when there are already great ones out there? :roll: But seriously..sum1 here must hav a real rsc acc left, wouldn't hurt to spend 1k on a mith pick and find out. I would really appreciate this. :

I'd really need to know how many times the different pickaxes used to hit in rsc? I only remember rune - 12, and addy - 10. But I can't remember, nor find the info about the rest of the pickaxes.. Does any1 know? Would really appreciate it, as it's quite important.

A question - Who is bonebreak6? The legendary BB6 never got banned, as I know him irl (he went to the same school as me and occasionally we meet at some parties nowadays) I am pretty confident as I say he just quit rs, because nolifing rs totally messed up his rl.. Also I can tell 100% sure that he never sold/gave away his user, he has confirmed it several times.

If chili botted howcome he is still in hiscores ? :roll: and where on earth do you even Know that they botted? You just can't know anything like this until they get banned.. as they didn't - obviously they didn't cheat. Everyone should know the mass ban of jan 1. 2004 very well. Jagex banned all the accounts that had ever had any traces of bots/autos etc. from the game..

Only Snake_slava is banned and mind I remind you he wasn't banned for cheating his way to 99 range. Anyone who knew atleast a little of what was going on back then knows the story with Snake_slava. He took his computer to jagex headquarters to prove he hadn't been cheating after he got banned. Just to show that he really was the best he actually made another user - Snake_slavik, which was the second user ever to reach 99 range. Why snake_slava got banned sometime later I honestly don't know.. but it wasn't because of cheating his way to 99.

ahem.. other players were allowed to visit it, they could use the disks to come back. But the players who broke rules were put there for good, unable to get out of there. Technically none of them were banned, as they could still log in and had all their stuff and stats.. its just that they were in an endless black hole where they couldn't do much. invented catching? :lol: and zezima discovered the north pole.. if you don't know then there is no need to comment. Zonghui wasn't a great pker..he was just average, like any other random guy. The only advatange he had was his stats.. stats ment alot more back then, as a lvl 90 couldn't get lucky and 2-hit a lvl 120 with dds specials.. Beta was launched for members on Dec 1. 2003 and for f2p on 17th March 2004. Full Launch was on March 29th 2004. and thanks for correcting me Hohto. I didn't even remember about the bug-shemales, which indeed v1rta was, not that you brought it up. (he/she was finnish aswell like you if I remember correctly) Btw - I have a pic of you training on skeles in crandor dungeon Hohto ;) lvl 101 or something if I remember well.. I used to take pics of all lvl 100+ people, as you didn't see them very often (i was f2p). I myself never achieved 100cmb as I didn't have much time to play rs after the summer of 2001.. quit actively playing rs sometime in 2003 when I was lvl 91. Though I kept logging in once-in-a-while to get holiday items and maybe do a thing or two.. finally quit in 2004 after I had seen what rs2 was like.. haven't logged in since.

Well.. I discovered pirvate servers for myself.. now I can still enjoy the good ol' days of RSC.. It's not the same though, far from being what it used to be, but I'm still enjoying myself greatly, especially pk-ing which i loved in rsc. To my amazement I haven't lost my skills at all.. still manage to catch as well as I used to. Even though I dislike some of the modifications made in priv. servers - such as increased xp and that you can't do some skills and that some areas are absolutely deserted - not even npc's have been put there, there are even some cool modifications - the strongest monsters can drop rares, there is a cool person in every town who teleports you between certain locations for free and some other tweaks. Meh.. at times it seems just like the old days :D you just see different names..

No better name than "God" :D He is still in hiscores by the way... so is "Devil" :D

Player Killer :) had some happy times killing people... well actually not so much, as more often ended up dying.. (well.. what do you expect from iron armor!? : )

I rejoined this forum only because of rsc topics :) Haven't played rs since 2004, but still have lots of good memories of those times as I saw runescape grow from a beta version with just a few hundred people into a massive online game with hundreds of thousands of people and very nice 3D graphics (started rs at the very beginning, in jan. 2001) No-one has mentioned that it was a quite late addon to classic, at the beginning there was no such thing. there was no fence.. it was just a black area. You could buy a disk of returning for 15gp from a dwarf in fally mining area to visit the black hole, but it was removed as alot of people got stuck there, due to losing the disk in 1 way or another. No1 has mentioned that at the very beginning there was no such thing as a bank :) you had to carry everything that you had with you. Also some facts: Before TKS, L6vi was nr.1 in overall for a long time, one of the best known players at the very beginning of rs (pic' of him beating andrew himself in a duel: http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/180/31108754ma8.gif ) Gearshifter, you mentioned in your first post was the first person to get max combat lvl - 123. S A X was lvl 123 by the end of rsc. First lvl 99 ranger was Snake Slava First lvl 99 firemaker was cowchicken First lvl 99 mage WAS bluerose13x First lvl 99 thief was Duck_man First lvl 99 hp was Zonghui (he was the first to get att/def/str/hp 99, but as he never got pray 99, his combat was 122 - he never reached 123) SIDENOTE: Zonghui was probably the best known player during rsc-times, every single player knew who he was, kind of like zezima today. With a difference that there were never hordes of noobs following him around, he spent most of his time in wildy anyways, training mostly. Even though killing zonghui was something everyone dream of, it wasn't actually hard if you had stats capable enough, as he wasn't exactly a great pker.
