That's kind of understandable. There's no reason to give the animal to someone if they're probably going to kill it. I'm also willing to bet that the girl's hug was hurting the cat or at least making it feel uncomfortable in some way. I can understand that some rules do need to be placed to insure the pet's safety, but, trust me, if you've met some of the people that work there... All of them are extreme PETA supporters and if you do ONE thing slightly wrong while they let you see the animal, they immediately take it away. They call hugging an animal "abuse", and they say that a person MUST be in the house at all times during the first two weeks of adoption. My friend adopted a cat from there, they said that nobody except the family could be in the house for the first five weeks, so the cat could "get used to its surroundings", which is total BS. My cat got used to its surroundings in a day, and I had friends over too.

Or you could just switch to Peaceful then switch back if you are about to lose dozens of hours of work to a creeper.

I hate my town's animal shelter. They insist that you adopt a pet from their shelter, but they have such strict rules on how you raise it. They denied a little girl a cat because she hugged it.

I'm praying that the SDTV in my house dies soon. It's already showing signs of dying. My parents are running this SDTV to the ground, and I'm forced to play my PS3 on it. Which means I have to strain my eyes reading tiny text on games meant for HDTVs. Hopefully, once this TV dies, my parents will be arsed to get an HDTV.

I feel like I'm too stupid/clueless to be in my current high-level History class. We had a debate the other day, and my outline was craptastic compared to my group members'. They had it all typed up, with 2 pages worth of good debate material. I had a measly little list. I'm re-doing it for our debate over Andrew Jackson next class, but I'm still pretty clueless. My group is arguing that Jackson's dealings with the Indians are not unlawful and that the Indians are not foreign. But I'm skimming through the documents we're supposed to read, and I cannot find anything/little that justifies what we are arguing. Yet my group members have a huge list on justifications. I'm surprised I have a B in that class.

I've never eaten or even seen one of those till now. Where do you get them? Are they only available in certain countries?

I made a last-minute Creeper (from Minecraft) helmet and went with friends. We then went to Target to get Starbucks. That was my Halloween. Fun, huh? All the trick-or-treaters were gone by 8:00. Sad, sad Halloween.

What's up with kids not saying Trick or Treat? I swear, 3/4ths of the people that came to my door didn't even say it. And 1/2 weren't even wearing anything halloween-y.
