  1. I believe it's better to have your skills of similar level to avoid not being able to open skill doors which in turn lessens your XP per floor.
  2. Thanks guys. Sorry to hijack the op but I felt it was relevant and didnt require a new topic!
  3. Without cost in mind. Is this faster than drygores? And is there any way you could list which tasks? I know it's a lot to ask but I'm using kuradal and skipping a lot of the lesser tasks and would just like to know which I should barrage over drygores.
  4. Smithing for me is 99. Mining is almost 94. Construction and farming are only 65 ATM.
  5. Looks like 95 prayer first is the best idea. @hedgehog why not? Although I haven't tried war bands at all and doesn't seem to be something I'd want to do lol
  6. Just did the math and as of current ge prices: 73m for 95 prayer 42m for 92 herblore So I'd be able to do both but I'd be without a mainhand drygore. I have a chaotic maul and can dual wield whip vine/ee. Any thoughts?
  7. I use zammy cape for god protection because I need my arrow slot free.
  8. Currently have a 140m~ cash pile to work with. However I will be buying a main-hand drygore weapon soon(they seem to be crashing so I'm weary of buying one just yet) so I'll only have enough for one or the other at the moment. Prayer level is currently 70 and herblore is currently 85. Which would be more beneficial due to last weeks update changing how soul split works and how stats effect combat now? I've read that soul split isn't as good as it was but was hoping for incite from someone still using it often and able to provide feedback. Thanks in advanced!
  9. My recommended gear setup for aviansies Head:arma Body:arma/royal Legs:arma/royal Boots&gloves:gano Ring:ring of devotion cheap and any other ring isn't really needed(IMO) Neck:fury works fine for me Cape:zammy cape/skill cape if you really wanna use cbow Weapon:black Sally until you can use royal xbow Inventory:1 super ranging potion(4) dose per bunyip pouch and 1 dose of summoning/super restore per bunyip pouch. Climbing boots if you don't have trollheim teleport. I can always last til I'm out of pouches with this setup. And it's not very expensive/within your reach. For your action bar I recommend 3 basics and 2 thresholds(rapid fire and the one that shoots 2 consecutive shots which I forget the name of!) Don't bother using ultimates IMO.
  10. Thanks quest. @tieszen then I'd be broke ;x Just wanted to say thanks to all of you for your help. I went in full void+drygore rapier and successfully brandished it a few hours ago. Messed up a lot for some reason. Was used to being at a distance, still got it though :).
  11. Thank you very much! I do have full melee void(not elite though, are the armor bonuses very different?). I will buy a rapier and use it with a DFS. Hopefully all goes well :).
  12. I wasn't sure if it was at all feasible without a shield. However I guess I'll give it a shot. My dps with melee far outweighs my magic dps, so I guess it's worth a shot.
  13. That would leave me unable to buy better armor or I would. Maybe just money making for now is better. I currently have 130K tokens, would a CCB and DFS be enough you think? I wasn't sure if antifires were for just walls, does that mean if I dodge walls enough or minimize damage taken from them then I shouldn't bother with a shield? If so, I do have a chaotic maul that I've yet to use..
  14. Hi all, recently got back in the swing of things earlier this year but I've pretty much got all the basics down. I've tried 3 attempts and all have failed thus far to brandish my royal crossbow. My gear: Subjugation top Subjugation bottom Subjugation helm Ahrims wand DFS(magic) Gano gloves Gano boots Seers' ring Amulet of fury Inventory: Sharks(have also tried with rocktails) Super magic potion Prayer potion(x2) Prayer renewal Antifire potion War tort filled with sharks Stats: 95 hp 91 def 99 Mage 69 prayer (88 range, 90 attack, 99 str) My problem has been does which is leading to me consuming food because its taking me so long to get through phases. Praying range protect only as I've read that Mage prayers are bugged? Also using all basics + asphyxiate and the other threshold(name eludes me ATM). I've only allowed 1-2 grots to spawn before touching artifact and dodge/take 1-2 hits from most fire walls. I just can't seem to do enough damage :/. Any help at all would be much appreciated. I have a 80M Cash pile to work with. Maybe 100M if I push it.
  15. If anything why not do a little of both, if you get bored of combat, go skill a little, then go back, etc. I find it a lot easier that way personally.
  16. And skills are just chop this, drop that, burn this, cook that, mine this, smith that, go there and make that.. It's called runescape ;).
  17. Are furies really all that worth it?
  18. Ranging is hard until their aggro is off >.>.
  19. An effective one.
  20. I hear its a 100% drop rate :wall:.
  21. I used Chaeldar for awhile.
  22. starclimber replied to oake's topic in Help and Advice
obby sword + neck for str.
  23. Honestly, if you're that desperate for money, jsut do it, why factor in how long it takes?
  24. Agreed on that it shouldn't cost too much. The money I made from spirit kyatt/terrorbird pouches on the GE makes it a LOT less of a money drain. I loss maybe 2.5m from ~40-68(well 67 with 50k but i've already calculated the loss) and find it pretty hard for anyone to lose much more than that.
  25. That doesn't answer the question :P, but I used taverly house + CW bank.
