  1. Lord_Shalaj, you have a good point about that there, but my belief is that whenever PvP is around, people start to abuse it. Hypothetically saying, "if" all worlds were PvP, then things would be utter chaos. Well, thank god that was not the case though. The reason for all the rant is that I was a victim of a pker and can still be a potential victim of them. However, I will steer clear away of those worlds or any activity that has high risk.
  2. This is true, but I think there are many other factors that affect popularity and respect as well. I have seen many people, mostly with only one cape (firemaking, cooking, fishing, fletching, or wc), but they still get much respect. Other factors that are included must be like their cb, their friends, their clan, their stats, and other special qualities. Even now, I find it weird that some people are famous even though they do not have the rare and unique capes. I myself, have 6 capes (firemaking, fletching, thief, construct, agility, and hunter) and going for my 7th cape, do not have as much popularity as I expected. In fact, I only have a few supporters. :(
  3. This topic is getting off subject little by little; I didn't expect you guys to actually get really hyped up over PvP worlds and my reasons for being against it.
  4. Wow, I am surprised that many people have mixed feelings about such a controversial topic. I am not here to attack anyone or any group, just to insert my own opinion about PvP and the downsides of it.
  5. Slayer is actually one of the hardest skills to level up on since you only get exp from doing the assignments. Not to mention, they only give exp equivalent to the hp of that monster. :(
  6. Herblore? If so.. I wish. :( If you are talking about herblore, then no. Just to expensive for me. :( Anyway.. Just got my first decent treasure trail reward in ages. Was surprised to see it at 600k+. I thought it was like 400k. :P Sold everything for about 650k. Good in my opnion. : Leik, Herblore is very expensive I agree but you should be able to not lose a lot of money fast if you make prayer pots and then sell them at the Grand Ex, then buying some of the supplies (assuming your growing your own ranarr) I hope this helps! :D
  7. Wtf... so you're saying you want to go to a PvP world(a player vs player world(where you're supposed to kill people)) to hang out with friends? And you're complaining about the fact that you can die and lose all your stuff in a world where you're basically supposed to? The fact of the matter is IT IS HIGH RISK and YOU CAN DIE AND LOSE ALL YOUR STUFF. So if you can't handle that DON'T GO THERE. I mean it's not like if you're gettin forced to go there, if you really wanna hang out with your friends that badly go over to their house or go into the world with nothing at all. I'm still a bit confused at this rant so if I got it wrong can someone correct me... #-o Purfishx, it may seem confusing at first, but the point is that some of my friends are pkers and if I would want to trade with them or hang out with them, then there is a good chance of getting killed, therefore, I just hoped that Jagex should make more safe zones or something like that, hope that clears up the confusion. :
  8. I dislike the update with pking worlds and anything that is high-risk because you can actually lose your items if you go there. Many pking fans and pkers would probably tell me "Just don't go there." I will say that I am going there because I may want to hang around with some of my friends there but I run the risk of getting killed and also, it takes time for a safe zone to become safe again assuming that you were in a hot zone. I will say that low-risk PvPs are fun because players can still fight each other and not worry about losing items. Duel Arena, Clan Wars, Castle Wars, Fist of Guthix, and even the Tzhaar fighting pits are good areas. If you have an different opinion, feel free to post it here, but make it a reasonable argument. By that I mean, do not say "Your a noob because --" or "Pking is cool so go away!" but something like "I see your point because..." and "I do not agree with you because...". One last thing, I will also be updating this topic when I have more time or the late future. ;)
