  1. I remember at one point being able to be friendly with my fellow hunters, but now it seems more of a cut-throat community. Why? What changed? Perhaps there are multiple factors. For one, I've gone up a number of levels, which means that I'm into some of the more valuable game. Also, with the return of PVP, a number of items have gone through dramatic price changes. It would seem to be enough to irritate any skillers, but sometimes people overstep the lines. I will now relate the first part of my day's adventure. I had logged out previously in the midst of the polar hunting ground while hunting sabre-toothed kyatts. When I had first logged in, I saw a level 115 in full larupia who had said hi. Friendly enough, but then he immediately called me a noob about 20 times and kept telling me to get lost, leave, and also claimed to have reported me (though I can't imagine as to what for). A short time later I saw him walk off never to be seen again for the rest of my trip. I dislike being called a noob, especially by someone who doesn't seem to have the grounds to do so. As I had mentioned, I was hunting kyatts, which to mean automatically means a small amount of food and good armor, definitely not camo, which provides little protection against the attacks of a lvl 60 beast. I had also mentioned he was in full larupia, which is deep camo for woodlands/jungle, NOT the middle of the polar hunting ground. If that was not enough, I had a few more displays of witlessness to lower my opinion of many of my fellow hunters. The next of which was a lvl 93 with NO armor/camo who laid one trap and then seemed to have left without even poking a kyatt. My hope is that this was done as a measure of re-thinking his equipment before returning. The lvl 89 that came later, was not as fortunate. He was decked out in graahk, again the wrong camo for the region, and an inadequate protective measure. He cut his logs and then poked a kyatt, then laid a trap. Before he was even able to jump it, he had been hit for what I believe was close to a total of 30 damage and ran off for dear life. It makes me rather upset to see people act so... stupid. I believe the only thing that kept the 115 from running off like the 89 was his level, but even so what thought process do you have to have to think that anything that is going to periodically attack you without you being able to hit back is to be completely ignored. I suppose with a high enough level difference, you could do so, but I don't like to play that dangerously. The following is the summary of my equipment that I take with me while hunting: Equipped: Dragon med helm granite body dragon platelegs dragon boots dragon gauntlets heralded rune kiteshield rune axe amulet of power ring of wealth Inventory: teasing stick knife 5 tuna I'll admit that teleport jewelery could replace what I mentioned, but I usually end up being out long enough to use a home tele every time.
