  3. Damn it's like the US, you don't even have to break the rule only talking about it gets you [bleep]ed over lol'd We enforce all Jagex rules alongside our own. People boost minigames, people abuse bugs, people lie, scam, and lure - sure, discuss it. Do not instruct people how to do so. Do not claim to do so. Do not encourage others to do so. That said, the posts that were hidden not only mentioned using alts to boost minigames, but also mentioned that the poster was going to do so. On top of this, they also encouraged others to do so. I hope I've made myself clear. literally quaking in my desk chair atm ;) so has anyone figured out which option for "Karima" (I think that's her name) that randomly gives you bxp? I chose the seecond option and on a level 90 skill I got like 12k bxp :( It's Blessing of Fate that gives you more random bxp. idk why you refer to it as "figured out", pretty sure everything was explained pretty clearly in the newspost.
  4. We took Darkwitchery to Nex, she had never really done PvM or felt comfortable doing it before this. Results did not disappoint. I also got vgloves, body was the kill after. :)
  5. photoshop some cute kittens over the law altar in your next pic. that will make it all better.
  6. Well originally I exempted Jessika's sword for a mixture of it being not useful at all and it not being an entire set. Void is completely useless again so that gets rid of one of my excuses so I may have to go back for Jessika's sword. Assuming PC is completely dead again though so sometime in the future.
  7. is he coming back to rs3 to cap citadel :) ?

  9. good progress today on oldschool, there were a number of things I could have pic'd, got 85 combat and did dream mentor amongst the ddos chaos. Also got 65 def, will do kings ransom tomorrow.
  10. Take a monkey from the ardougne zoo and feed it bananas. One time only it will give you a medium clue. Some people on the thread took up to a couple hundred bananas to get it. It's a medium so yeah, but completionism. edit: more Monkey Madness related incredibly obscure completionism Get caught by the jail guard 100 times for this one.
  11. I greatly overhauled my Accomplished Things section on the first post under "Goals" using the following thread on RSOF: http://[Use Quick Find Code]/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?98,99,850,65119589,goto,1 Definitely worth a read if you like accomplishing stuff beyond what there is recognition (by other items etc.) for.
  12. To add on to this, I was also one of the skill-oriented completionist capers that was opposed to this update at first mention. I followed the development of the update to see if they were going to change the requirement, and once I realized they weren't going to, I realized I had to take action. It may take everyone who doesn't want to boss out of their comfort zone but I can assure you it really isn't that hard. The only boss hunting I had done before hearing about the requirement was 4 man Bandos GWD in 2010 and it only took me a combined time of around 4-5 hours to kill every boss newly required for comp with this update once, using no T90 gear except for Drygores and learning from scratch (reading guides beforehand though). For Vorago I used a mass with a lot of other inexperienced players and for RotS I went with 3 friends who had gotten their only successful kill literally minutes before (after 10-20 attempts). Nex and KK you can easily brute force with enough people who barely know what they're doing. And I can guarantee that around this time there will be no problem finding massive numbers of people who also want to do these bosses. This update does add more time required to the completionist cape, but it's a different sort of time. Most completionist cape content (i.e. Livid Farm) takes physical time (gaining points, XP, or progressing through quests) whereas this update takes much more time spent learning than it does actually doing. I'm glad we finally have another requirement like this, as (clearly visible from the last day of feedback) it separates those who have truly mastered the game from those who haven't. A tangential but relevant what-if: If Soul Reaper was out before the release of completionist cape and the current requirement was a requirement on release of the cape there would be a LOT less complaining. Just because it came out now over 3 years after the completionist cape people feel entitled to say that the completionist cape should be a certain way and only include a certain set of requirements. It's not impossible to change your playstyle to incorporate more elements of the game (including socializing for the purpose of PvM) if you want to say you've truly mastered it.
