RuneScape Information

  1. Looks a nice quest, as well as being the first one I can do on the day of release since I joined members (not counting those holiday wannabes). Doesn't seem too special for 150, but I suppose its the first time Jagex have finished a quest series (Spirit of Summer and Summers End was a back-to-back two parter, not a series). So far I took the captain to the nursery, then it crashed on me :wall: :wall: In the other news section, male ogres have finally been updated, I have yet to see them, but at least they shouldnt look like those dumb giants they did before. No strikes on Pvp I dont mind as I dont do Pvp anyways but it should slow down noobs on those worlds. Dont care about Party Room. Familiars in GE:evil: They were disallowed anyways and there was no need to increase the boundary. Less randoms in Chaos Tunnels, finally. A few days ago I was praying against Daggys, and about 5 seconds after they became passive an abyss decided to grab me. With only one attacking me I can survive for more than 3 seconds without prayer. So the quest is unimpressive for 150, but decent, but the other news section and patch notes are quite impressive
  2. Not the best, but the only unique trail item I've had in a long time (before that it was a red ele shirt and I dont count things like pages, yew comps, or sweets) From randomly killing some guards, 4 steps, took about 5 mins, well worth it.
  3. Just got this one at the Lumbridge spinning wheel Him: Eyes Him: U luk like a prat Me: And? Him: Lol (try to click on spinning wheel, misclick on man) him: Ure hardcore him: killin a man Me: Misclick noob Me: Anyway *noob name*, whats your problem? Him: U luk like a prat(Yes we'd established that) Him: Wearin a skirt and ure a boy (Dragon manskirts ftw \ ) Me: More practical noob Him: Lol Him: Noob Me: At least I'm comfortable enough to wear one Him: Lol Him: Girl (Oh yeah, how old are you? 8?) Him: Get d legs (I really do not want to fork out 500+k when spending 150k does the job) Molly comes and snatches him away. I just dont get what it is to people that a male character is wearing a skirt, and sometimes these people can be a little bit insulting :shame: even if u do nothing to provoke them . A little later, not so funny, but still an example of how most people value strength over attack(unlike me) 3rd guy(lvl 82, wearing drag med+ rune body +legs compared to my neitiznot, granite and drag skirt: Lvl 86 str level Me: 65(getting 70 att first) him: Lol him: Is that it(Yes, I just said that) him: My Attack lvl is 65 me: My Attack lvl is 68 continues into qc battle between him and other spinners. I then choose to leave. I am now avoiding Lumbridge and staying in uncrowded/high-lvl areas such as Dorgesh-Kaan and Lletya, that ought to keep the noobs off my back.
  4. I just finished Smoking kills and my current slayer task was 100+ Blue dragons from Chaeldar(which is probably my most common (and most hated) task at the moment, but it all depends on what I'm doing. Anyway, after Smoking kills, I decided I was not going to range one more blue, and Turaeled my task, and then after that do 5 Machzna tasks to start getting points. Turael gave me Cave Slimes, which I did, and then I go to Machzna and he gave me Cave Slimes :wall: . I swear the Slayer Masters enjoy giving me 2 tasks of the same monster in a row. I finish a task of Basilisks and go back to Chaeldar and its another lot of Basilisks etc :wall: :wall: . This is my nightmare while doing slayer, because I enjoy the occasional switching of monsters, not to slave away over 150 basilisks, then come back and do it again. (Its a Slayer Master conspiracy  )
  5. If this is for things we dont actually have and want, look on the right side, for the noob stuff I wear day to day look on the left Helm: Drag med /Slayer helm, Neitiznot or Barrows Body: Granite / Bandos or Barrows Legs: Drag skirt/ Barrows, or Bandos Boots:Snakeskin/ Bandos Gloves: Addy/ Barrows Ring: Wealth Shield: Fally shield 2 or Guthix book/Rune defender Cape: Obsidian/ Quest Point or Attack cape Weapon: Drag Scimmy or Ivandis Flail(I love that thing)/Whip or a GS
  6. I love doing this, but then its mainly with extremely cheap items, that I cannot be bothered to go buy from a general when I need them, like chisels or knives (I must have at least 20 knives and 15 hammers  ) Things like pickaxes and axes, and armour I decide its not worth the time to save up money to buy although with the free pick I got from Between a Rock, i make an exception.
  7. Extra tip with compost mounds you could add: use some scrolls on Catherby bin and collect the compost with more buckets. Effectively Catherby bank>withdraw mound, 15 scrolls, coins for buckets> catherby general> use scroll on bin>bank, use extra buckets on the mound as you said. You get over 150 more compost this way, and you can sometimes get supercompost. Around 16k profit.
  8. OK, here's the situation. I've got my 2nd ever level 3 clue scroll (both from blue drags) and on the second stage I got a coordinates clue (0000 N 0717 W I think). I looked this up and it said I have to do Regicide to get there. I had recently completed Underground Pass but only had level 44 agility. I started training at the Agility arena, I had 33 tickets and got very bored. Got 46 ag from that, then did Icthlarin's little helper and got 47 ag. Now I'm looking at how to train agility higher, and if there is any faster way than the Agility arena. I'm doing cold war at the moment, and i'll try the course at the end of that quest. Also, when I finally get the agility to complete Regicide, do you think my cb is high enough to do it?

  10. I'm mostly against it. I tried doing some firemaking to get my level up for a quest and got bored after clicking the first few logs. There are some skills which I wouldn't mind powertraining (firemaking, fletching, smithing) but I always have some more exciting things to do then stand in a bank and click on logs for hours.
  11. First noob mistake i made was to ignore the 'noob' skills of fishing and cooking and concentrate on mining and smithing. I thought eventually I would be able to make my own rune pl8. Aside from that, I was wondering why you couldn't go through the gate into the desert. It was about 2 months later that I discovered it cost 10gp. Soon after that I found the world map, and suddenly I knew where to go to complete Cooks Assistant, the first thing I'd started after leaving Tutorial Island. Speaking of which, on Tutorial Island, when the quest guide talked about quests, I thought you had to do the quests in the order they were listed, and was gutted when I couldn't start (Black Knight Fort needing 12 qp). I'd figured it out after the Tutorial tho.
