Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
I have found a few in making my controversial topics. The moral Vegetarian. The anti-abortionist. There are anti-abortionist pro-life people who kill doctors to prove that killing is wrong. How hypocritical is that? And there are alot of flaws in their arguments - "Killing a unborn Fetus is wrong because it has a right to life", but that is implying that other things being killed, namely plants and other animals, haven't got the right to life. This is an argument of uncertainty. Since you cannot be sure a plant lacks the right of life (they are proven to respond to stimuli, and possibly feel pain), it would be hypocritical to use that argument. Anti-Efficiency people. Some are fine, I have no problem if you want to play the game you want to. The ones who preach about how 'Slayer is the best way to train', etc, would be the ones that annoys me. Not every efficient player is a freak who spends 22 hours a day at the computer slaving over RuneScape trying to get an extra 2k xp/h through undivided attention. Lastly, Msn/Text messaging. It's less of the actual messaging system, it's more of the abbreviations used. Teenage girls on Msn (Yes, I talk to teenage girls, it's okay) tend to use a lot of abbreviations online, such as 'brb' and 'omg'. Another one of the grammar things are 'how u doin xx' Sure, trying to type something on a text does take some effort, but typing does not require much effort yet people are still too lazy to type out 2 extra characters. Oh, one more before I post this; Inability to detect sarcasm. Sarcastic remarks aren't meant to be taken literally. That's the end of my little rant, feel free to discuss

Efficiency
Actually playing RuneScape is more efficient than arguing on a forum about efficiency. Besides, it is your choice. You can be 10 times slower than another player at getting a certain level, if that's 'fun' to you, then do it. Anti-Efficiency is one of the things that annoy me. There is nothing wrong with killing Armoured Zombies instead of Chicken, hunting Frost Dragons instead of Goblins, using a Rapier instead of a bronze 2h sword, etc. Sure, there are efficiency freaks out there, but not every efficient player is one. And believe it or not, being efficient can be fun too. I don't enjoy killing chickens with -64 attack and 0 strength. So why assume that inefficiency is better?

Vegetarianism
A few of those "facts" aren't exactly valid reasons. The Hunger Argument - As I've said before, people aren't starving because there isn't enough food in the world. It's because they have no access to it. Even if we have a sudden boom in the amount of corn we have, it wouldn't make much of a difference to the amount of people still starving. On average, 50% of the food in the US is wasted. Wouldn't the surplus just be wasted? 'Would we really use the surplus to feed the millions of hungry people?' Animal Waste - That figure is misleading. Even if nobody eats meat, some of the space used by cattle today will still be occupied by animals. Those animals still have waste, and it will still contribute to Global Warming (admittedly less, but still) Malnourishment - Already talked about that.

Efficiency
This thread = The ultimate fallacy. Training inefficiently isn't fun for me. So training inefficiently is also being inefficient for my fun/enjoyment. Do what you want, don't hate just 'cause we are better

Vegetarianism
Another point; "If we ate grain instead of meat, then there would be no starving people in the world" That is not completely true. Why? Because starving people aren't starving because there isn't enough food, it is because they don't have access to food. Think about it

Vegetarianism
I agree partly with this. Firstly, I'll point out some flaws in your argument. In your first two sentences, you implied that every meal contains meat. This is not necessarily true. Also, 5% less grain usage does not mean 5% less pollution. By that you're saying that 100% of pollution comes from animals, which is obviously not the case. Also, if it is found that there are efficient ways to obtain meat without using many tons of food, the argument is invalid. Assuming the reasoning is valid, there are many other ways to stop the greenhouse effect. And a DYK; The greenhouse effect is actually healthy to the Earth, as it keeps it at a 'normal' temperature. It is only bad when there is too much of it, which means trapping alot of the heat from the Sun (Which is why Venus is hotter than Mercury.) For those who claim that you have to kill animals to eat meat; Question yourself this. Why do plants have no right to life? Do you use animal related products? Isn't it hypocritical to wear a leather handbag or a leather jacket, and then claim to be a vegetarian because "you don't like animals being killed"? Health perspective; Who says a healthy meat based diet is less healthy than a healthy vegetarian diet? It is about managing consumption.

Efficiency
Efficiency isn't a problem. Anti Efficiency is.

Vegetarianism
Question: To get the same amount of vitamins you get from meat, would you need to eat a (much) higher quantity of those foods? PS: Plants can feel pain? WTF?? Seriously? The power of google compels you! http://www.bbspot.com/News/2003/08/plant_pain.html

Vegetarianism
I've pondered about this before. Why would you refuse to eat the meat of a cow, but drink it's milk? Doesn't make sense, apart from the fact that you're not killing animals. And isn't a vegetarian diet more bland than a balanced diet with meat? 'Fake Meat' is ironic to me. You want to taste meat, but not actually eat it. @SerpentEye Yeah, the main problem is B12 protein and Iron. Personally, my motto is 'taste worth dying for', not really 'be totally paranoid about food and calories'.

Interesting read. Shame about the 'How much do you work with Jagex' question (I guess there were reasons behind it, but meh)

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
http://forum.tip.it/topic/277546-vegetarianism/ Yeah, I made a topic on the vegetarianism. Things that annoy the hell out of me... Sarcastic insults by teachers It's like, -.-

Vegetarianism
Yeah that would be malnutrition... Exactly my point. If animals have the right of life, why do plants lack the right of life? They can feel pain. It has been proven

Vegetarianism
I figured, since there were so much debate on this topic in "Things That Annoy The HELL Out Of You", I'm going to make a new thread out of it (better than bumping an old thread). Personally, I dislike vegetarians that try to lecture or convert you for eating meat. Meat eating isn't a sin, we were born omnivores. I just hate the ridiculous reasoning they give. And for the sake of argument, I'll list a few of the 'reasons' supplied in the other thread; Some of the points are valid, yet only opinion. I see alot of articles that are very fallacious when they argue about Vegetarianism, "It would cause less global warming." What do you think of Vegetarianism/Vegan-ism? Usually I'm fine with it, just don't give me a dirty look when I eat my Filet Mignon & Peppercorn Sauce or a juicy burger! Discuss! Edit - Fixed 'carnivores' for 'omnivores' >.<

A few of the stories are; My Religion doesn't allow it. It's unethical/wrong. I watched this program on BBC... and it was so horrible that they kill animals Meat is bad. etc

Hungry Jacks is better than McDonalds
There is no right and wrong answer to this - it's just opinion. And it's your opinion that it tastes average, but mine that it tastes brilliant. I love it. Okay, if we ignore taste, then BK's > McD's. But I like Subway. I can choose my own bread, what to go in it, what salad and what sauce. A "for you" kind of thing.

Hungry Jacks is better than McDonalds
Ew, you love McD's Why can't people just learn to cook and actually make a tasty meal out of some beef. A nicely seared Filet Mignon or Ribeye Steak with some Creamy, Buttery Mash Potatoes with fresh Petit Pois and Baby Carrots, drizzled with Peppercorn sauce > McHeartAttack Isn't that a given? But this is a fight of McD's v HJ! BK's meat is real, but doesn't taste too great. McD's stuff is full of crap, but tastes 'average'. Not really much of a debate, neither are very good

Kiting in Runescape
Kiting is used often by good hybrids, so it is used, same with Saradomin. Elsewhere... too much effort

Hungry Jacks is better than McDonalds
I haven't eaten at BK's for ages, but if you can find a good burger recipe on the internet, it's even better than the crap you get at fast food joints

Chinning VERY Fast
Roughly 400k xp/h+, Bring Steel Titan with plentyful of scrolls in helm (Even if that means bringing a helm that can store scrolls, the xp from the titan far outweighs any loss in xp from the decreased range bonus) Borrow some Ranger Boots Don't die

Cool novel sis. Gunna' publish it? Got enough time to tell me the rest of it? Get back on Topic child. WAAAH WAAH SOMEONE DOESN'T THINK LIKE ME SO I'M GONNA USE STUPID OVERUSED MEMES. Get the **** over yourself Undo. But seriously, it's just a food item on a menu. And McD is actually a bit healthier than most other food joints surprisingly. He's mad
