sorry no idea if it works for squirks =( but if u wanna test it im sure there are alot of people that want to know
In addition to the the blackjack idea, it's a REALLY good idea
what the archive of wisdom guide won't tell you is that you can duo blackjacking. It's more efficient because if you are caught, u don't need to run away and lose agro like if u solo. As long as ur auto retal is off, ur teammate can knock the bandit out for you.
If you get a MASSIVE team going, you can have 2-4 people alternate blackjacking duty, and everybody else can just chill, relax, and pickpocket the entire time for EPIC thieving xp

So i know how to import the data, but how do you make it so that google doc records data permanently?
I'm pretty sure it can record data in a new line in the spreadsheet, and be programmed to re-record that data on a regular basis, providing something like a price history.
I wanna do that only with the RSS feed for the adventurer's log.
so anybody know by any chance?

Does this mean that we can have duplicate EE's now? If so, awesome.
yes

Adjusted the delivery cost for eyes of newt.

I think that the Halloween event WILL be released this week, seeing that this week is the same week as of which Halloween is on.
Oh, and for some reason, the Twitter page doesn't work for me. :(
i dont think jagex has ever released halloween in november either o.O
anywhooo i think some twitter mentioned a jmod being scared of this week, so that pretty much seals it

we know fairy tale part 3 is coming soon.
Maybe tzhaar is involved?

don't forget zamorak brews. They're an effective alternative to prayer pots. I like using them in spots like aberrant spectres and black demons. You don't have to use them of course.

Well seeing as how the dragon pick keeps going between 11-12m, is it worth that high of a price? If not, at what price would you consider it worth it?
when you have a good stack of cash, the price of a liquid item doesn't really dictate whether or not its worth it.
If i pay 12 mil for it, use it for a while, and i sell it for 12 mil when I'm done, it's worth it.
I'd say in most scenarios the dragon pick is worth it. Only reason I havent bought one because im not quite sure if it has leveled out to its natural price yet.
I'd say the dragon pick is nearing its "worth it" value. I think it'll stabilize somewhere between 8m - 10m for the near future

it'll cost alot but those 8 herblore levels +1 greenman's ale for the extreme magic potion would go a long way in helping you out
think of it as an investment, those extreme range/attack/strength/defense/antifire/spec potions you'd pick up on the way wouldn't hurt either

wow, i hope they are making a new TzHaar quest. I likes them.
there's only been like 1 tzhaar quest hasn't there?
anywhoo, i want the tzhaar city. Always keeping hope that jagex has a secret huge update under the wraps somewhere.

Anybody?
I'm sorry if I wasn't clear, but I would like to know how long it takes the fruit to grow back on player-planted fruit trees after they have been picked.
a fruit an hour

PS get light elves, they have the lowest hitpoints of all the light squads
-
How long do they last for xp-wise? And how much xp is one burst at Monkey Skeles, without SC or anything.
Thanks,
Sailor89
33,300 xp a hat (it's not worth it tbh)
did you know you can cast alchemy and superheat at the same time?
1 alchemy:2 superheats
i would go with that, less time spent collecting mage hats, cheaper, and probably faster xp than bursting skele monkeys

I've always wanted a skill sig that imitated the look of the in game skills tab. Would we be able to pull that off by uploading it as the background? like would the numbers still look like the numbers in game?

Not quite finished yet, i'll continue later.
don't suppose you could time how long it takes to run to a farming patch? (don't time how long it takes to plant/harvest)
I think that would be very important in actually finding an accurate xp/hour rate on farming
I think it's a little over an hour, but you have to keep in mind that this can differ from person to person, depending on what plants you chose, what teles/items you have, ... Therefore, I think it's best to time it for yourself, so you know exactly what aplies to you. Rest assured that this is the best xp/time invested.
oh i didn't mean time for your entire run
I meant time for each individual run.
IE how long does it take to teleport and run to the trollheim patch.
I can time it myself when I have some free time. I just wanted some data to make a farming spreadsheet you know?
If you do take the data be sure to fill me in, or I'll just time it myself when i get the chance. Thanks!

Hello i havent been on these forums in a while but i was wondering
Which setup is better for iron drags full void range
or black d'hide?
i could also melee if its better than both
it is for slayer and if i melee i will be using slayer helm
might as well take advantage of your slayer helm
melee is MUCH faster than ranged down there
with super pots you should be getting ~60 kills/hour with melee
getting ~30 kills/hour with ranged is about the limit
I'd say that black d'hide > void for the accuracy. maybe a 1-2 people on the forums would disagree but most would agree with that statement.

If you haven't done the new Ardougne Diary, I suggest you get to it. There's a couple of things that might come in handy:
- A tele to Ardougne Farming patch (meaning your Combat Bracelets will last twice as long)
- Free Daily 100/150 Pure Ess from the wizard in northeast Ardougne
- Tele to monastery south of Ardougne (great if I can squeeze the part on Karamja and south ardougne in 1 invo)
I'm going to update the guide now and hopefully fix up the layout a bit.

most potions have risen to 20 gp/xp
so 60 mil would get you to roughly lvl 86
a few potions haven risen too high yet, these are the summoning potion (because not enuf are sold to affect ge prices that quickly) and the super energy potion (which probably is because it hasnt stabilized yet)
the market could change though

I'm 99 defence and 99 hp, but I still find it extremely difficult to make effective runs while killing canoneers and dwogres and such. I've tried a cannon, I've tried Guthans. The only successful people I see there are people with high summoning, which I have 1 in. Is there something else I can do to make my runs more efficient besides just constantly praying range and using prayer pots?
you'll be fine once the agro wears off
make sure you arent running from one side of the map to the other. after you pray for about 15 minutes you'll be good to go with just guthans
as long as you don't have a cannon up you'll be able to fight the chaos dwarves 1 v 1
i would stay away from the cannoneers though, they hit HARD
otherwise guthans can compensate once it's just 1v1

could the "group quest" part of the group quest have been scrapped for temple trekking?

I think this will be my next topic for discussion... I want to look a little past the PVP updates.
I think supply and demand is a little more pertinent to current affairs than inflation is.
It was just everyone else calling it inflation, blaming it on inflation, saying we need to fix inflation that was getting me a little irked.
The other thing I'd consider writing about is similar to inflation - what is money? (I was actually just lectured over this in a macroeconomics class, so its fresh in my head).
I'll probably get started on that tonight...
I'm not sure i quite see this as a discussion though.
Everything boils down to "oh well maybe it's not just because of inflation"
which is kind of an obvious point that really isn't worth addressing
it took several posts for you to actually say something worth discussing "I think supply and demand is a little more pertinent to current affairs than inflation is."
which is great, now I'd like to know why you think that. That way we actually have something to discuss
Basically you told us a fact (that inflation isn't the sole cause of price rises). The thing is facts have 0 discussion value. Telling someone a fact isn't having a discussion with them, it's lecturing them. Which is nice and all when students come to class to listen to learn, but people here are either here to troll you, support you, or prove you wrong.
can I finally hear what your opinion is now?

Why is it useless for the calculator? All they need to do is make it add as a percentage, not hard at all.
they're just trying to find the exact equation. It may well be an exact percentage at high levels but you can't know for sure until you have all the data points

I'm curious with the rune cbow task, which bits does it include?
Like does it include smelting the rune bars or jsut smithing them?
Cutting the logs or jsut carving them?
Aquirng the stuff for cbow string or just spinning it?
There is no forge in Yanile or Witchhaven, so you don't have to smelt the ores there (I didn't superheat in the bank).
You need bars, yew log & raw meat to do the cbow step. You will have to spin the string at Witchhaven and smith the bars at Yanile anvils. Fletch the logs at either.
Good to know as I will (hopefully) be doing this task fairly soon. Since I am working on 99 smithing atm.
im not sure if this is a glitch or not but i believe you don't need to spin the sinews. you can just get some meat, cook it into sinews, get a random crossbow string, and attach it to the rest of your crossbow.
I could be mistaken, but when i went to witchhaven to string my sinews, i looked at my diary and only 1 item was left on my list and that was to attach the crossbow string to my crossbow.
Smithing: Steel Bars or Cannonballs?
in Help and Advice
Posted
it takes 6.6 seconds to smith a steel bar into cannonballs
it takes 5.4 seconds to fire a dark bow, which has a action speed rating of 1 according to jagex
if we use jagex's own speed rating scale, smithing of cannonballs would have a speed rating of -1
yes, NEGATIVE 1
it just fails that much
