You should see how defense players annoys the living orb-spirit out of those four-team stackers :thumbsup: :D -evil grin- But honestly, 4 people doesn't mean anything. Just more people to pile on the three orb spawns. -.- I'll much rather go with one (efficient) partner than 3-4 random "pros". Actually, I perfer to go on the opposite team :twisted:

u didn't know orbs can move thru solid pillars and rocks?!?! omg :o Just kidding. :lol: :lol: I've seen someone repelling an orb at a rock pillar and wondering why it didn't go through :roll: (I think I took a screenie of it, it was hilarious). Some people are also under the impression that getting the orb close to the general location of the altar will make the altar automatically vaccuum the orb in. :-#

depends on the player. I certainly would not call my partners someone who would slow me down. Gop is mainly hated because it's hard to win without patience/time, and due to the fact that some more experienced players aren't too nice to the newbies, making it even harder on their confidence. (even though i'm aware of that, I myself aren't too nice :-# ). And obviously, because of losing streaks, as the original poster mentioned. Another 50 score as a duo (2 players) on air. I'm in a good mood as of now

cough, sabotager, cough cough. ^^ they suck. sabos are usually players that know they'll get their [wagon] kicked if they challenge you, so they get back at the lamest, cheapest way possible :3. Funnest part is to win and score well even with those losers :3

XD If she's who I think she is, she's somewhat of a friend of mine :D Honestly, it's better to learn the game though. XD Following a wrong person can get you targetted, badly. (targetting = going against, getting friends to go against <- not fun to have "pros" against you). Having a someone accidently repel is way too common and annoying. I hate it. Especially when the games are good, like having 40 orbs with 1/4 timer left, then some idiot repels, and that possible 50 is gone. bleh.

I have to admit, many good players have a skillcape..but! I've seen enough people with skillcape lost :P Just a word, it's becoming common for "good players" not to wear skillcape due to being followed by people expecting them to win :

Skillcapes, are NOT indications of a good gop player. And if there's a "skillcape dude" in both team.. . 'Sides skillcapes can be removed with one click, while the player's skill remains. There, a good player with no skillcape (nowai). Going for orbs no one else is going for is useful, please score them and not drag them around the altar ten times though.

I love those randoms on my team who afks on gop. No sarcasm there. Without half of those idiots hugging and repelling the orbs, my partner and I can score (quite easily) into 40+ (air altar). Instead of complaining about going against effective teams, why don't you learn the game, and be part of a team (partnership) that can score so well? Btw, it's true that teams are quite unabalanced, due to 'good players' working well together. If you want some serious tokens you'll just have to learn how to be tip that unbalanced balance to your favor.

Jagex can always limit the amount of people per tree...Sort of like a first come, first serve, ___ amount of people allowed per tree. But then the forums will be swarmed with people going "0mgggz0r i spent 10 minutes going 2 a tree and I cn't do it!!!"

lol, aren't they so annoying? XD. I guess you can always use Bronze/Iron arrows. I don't think anyone would waste an inventory space for 10- bronze/iron arrows XD. Honestly, they can get worst. Using a combination of adamant/mithril arrows while training at lessers in f2p, I've had some people hound the arrows going "wow this is gunna make me rich." (Note, for those who are going to say I asked for it by using more expensive arrows and being lazy on picking them up, I'm not complaining about losing the arrows, just commenting on the mindset of those little annoyances.)

I lol'ed so much. And I lol'ed so much at the original post. Don't go to 50-50s, what's the point of winning 3 altars, when you can learn to play and win all 6..all the time?

For you, it may be more fun and 'peaceful' to do everything yourself, something to be proud of. But for some of us, we care more for the efficiency, speed, and levels. In the end, it's the same thing: a level in a skill and self-satisfaction. It's all about yourself, really. Each to their own. Say you have 99 smithing, noone is going to care whether you mined all the ores yourself, or bought the bars. I feel that, DIY is, as Makoto_the_Phoenix said, an overglorified waste of time.
