So should i change C bow + DDS out for Whip and rune def? I tried the Ancient + Sally method only problem is i dont freeze them or i dont kill them fast enough before they unfreeze again and hit me (dh for instance)

Well i plan to head back to barrows for a while to make back the 5m i lost trying to beat nomad (to no avail he still kicked my arse). So i was planning to use Guthans + Black Sally (Cant get the Ancients + Black sally method down right) or SoL + Guthans + Slayer dart / Fire bolt (with chaos gaunts). Pretty much but im failing worse with range than i am with melee so im going to try Z spear + Karils and Rocktails + Prayer potions using piety and pro mage the whole fight

I switched to using the Rocktails + prayer pots and melee and im getting him to berzerk fairly easy so im not going to use brews/restores anymore

How many p pots should i use? bring range pot? rest rocktail? should i bring bgs for spec or borrow claws I did the quest a while ago so I don't remember exactly, but you won't need many prayer pots, maybe three or four. Try and keep it as simple as possible. Don't even bother with ranging. You can do a BGS or Claws spec if you want to, but don't get hung up on it. I used a BGS, but I doubt that was what made the difference in the end. It really sounds like your major problem is that you're simply not hitting enough. Give it a shot with just a couple of prayer pots and an inventory of rocktail and see how well it works out. It'll be a cheap test to see if you're on the right track. So melee with bgs over using range? What setup would i use for this? prosy or just use general melee armor? pray mage still? 3 brews 1 dose restore but it seems like by the time i restore he gets me down to 1/4 hp and i just have to brew again completely negating the restore dose. You should not be taking damage that fast, perhaps you could try using prayers and leech def/range? i think its not as much of taking damage fast as i am taking high hits (230 +) every time. I thought about leech def/range problem is im only 71 prayer and i need 80 for leech def which will cost me around 23m i dont have =[

i very highly doubt its my range as i've seen people with under 80 do it that cant be the problem

its not his big hits that are killing me its his regular hits. I've got every special memoriased its just the normal hits between specials that are eating me up and i believe pgmr is right im brewing to much and hitting hitting with lower stats (after brewing i try to restore then instantly i have to brew again so restoring was pointless) which is causing me to use up all my brews when i need them most

Avoiding the mines Using the Pillar Avoiding the mirror images Fury and arma plate is a no go right off the bat as i cant afford them. I can borrow a bgs hopefully ill look into it.

While i dont know the exact amount needed. At max stats with extremes/ovls and steel titan it takes around 22-25 hrs to get the tokkul for it. This is what was posted on another thread a while back by someone who took the time to get one himself.

problem is im not geting him past 1/2 hp so diamond bolts wont do me any good. If i do get him down to 1/2 then its purely by luck.

I was thinking about bursting rock lobbies for charms but i was wondering how many charms/ 1k bursts i can get? I need around 5k crims to get to 88 summoning and i was thinking about bursting them but in order to find out how many bursts i need i've gotta find out how many crims/gold/greens/blues i can get per 1k bursts. P.S I only need an estimate to find out as ill round up to be safe.
