+1 If you have been gone from the game for a long time, you may feel quite lost/overwhelmed trying to get back into the game. If you are looking to get into a game for the occasional fun, then try out RS and see if it does the trick for you. Don't set any goals or anything if you go back to members, just get out there and explore. Try the minigames, do a quest, or just do random shit. @Devnull, The OP probably has no idea what an elite snob even looks like. There are quite a few of them here, yes, but you need to realize that elitest are an EXTREME minority in the RS community. I don't ever post much, but when I do, I make sure I know what I'm talking about. I suggest that you do the same.

That isn't how that works...

Start with all of the ones listed "easy" on the quest guide section of this website. Most of the quests in this game are inter-related and you have to do the easy ones to access the more rewarding ones. You should to wolf whistle, heros, monkey madness, death plateau, fremmenik trials/isles and the plague city quests asap. Not to mention others such as smoking kills, desert treasure, and legends.

I took my cold shower this morning. I only lasted about two minutes before I had to turn the heat on. I'll try again for the full length tomorrow.

I blame my parents and school for not taking my desire to go to college seriously. I've been thinking of asking my sister since she actually gives advice that isn't remotely vague, but the fact I am into an art degree is usually when they go "eh, whatever". Really, I guess I should go with some bullshit liberal arts crap degree or something subpar instead making use of something I *know* I am talented in? Honestly, even if I got good with funds and getting the loans, I am starting to not care anymore since being creative and original is sourly looked down upon. After all, thanks to the Industrial Revolution-era system, having an independent mind will screw your chances at being employed. My uncle works as a manager at a FedEx shipping hub, and he is also a painter. It is possible to do something that you love like painting as a side job for fun/money, but you have to be realistic. You can't just live with your parents for the rest of your life. Go to school, major is some bullshit, get a job, and do art on the side.

Don't you love epiphanies? I had one as I was waiting in line to get something this past Black Friday. I almost started to cry/laugh hysterically because I found the perfect way to complete my novel. I had been having serious problems thinking of where to go with the final chapter.
