For good results it needs to be on one monster for the 100 kills. Look at it this way, you are testing a drug to see its usefullness against the flu. If you tell people to take the flu pill but they decide to randomly take another pill it will throw off your results. What he said.

I'm rarely on the losing team. There's a system that seems to always work for me: If blue team wins, all the nubs run over to blue thinking they're going to win again which causes red to win (Blue is full of nubs). It sounds ridiculous, but I always join the team that lost the last round. Most likely around 300 games. Lol. Thats 115 hours of Soul Wars :shock:

I have said, 100monsters is to keep it feasable to the everyday player. Thats why im using a large salmple size. As to the PC thing, i've chaged my method completely, working out differential pecentage chages based on an overall fixation between the two variables (RoW or no RoW) [hide=TheDayRsDied] [/hide] K. Thats one monster, there are plenty of others around. [hide=Madmanpur3] [/hide] I have stated not to use the RoW if doing Godwars; 1) LootShare negates it's effect 2) It is fairly difficult to solo 100 kills 3) You need to kill the minions inbetween kills anyway, which may contaminate the results 4) You need the 40 kill count to get in on different trips if you are suggesting that to me.

This was in fact, my original idea, but I felt that as it would all be one monster, it may be difficult to find people to take part. After being shown that the PC idea wasnt the best, I have replaced it with the drop tally method, this won't giev me the same result, but it will give you as a player an idea of what to expect when using/not using the ring.

Because thats not what the statement says :?: It basicly states that using the ring of wealth increases the chance of getting a rarer drop, my investigation is to work out by what degree this is. If you want a simplistic term of the roulette wheel ananolgy; Imagine every monster has two roulette wheels of all their drops, with the rarer drops being on that second wheel. Now, when you kill the monster, the first wheel spins, and if your lucky, on that wheel there is a slot to spin the secoond wheel and get a "Rare" drop. Wearign the ring of wealth increases the chance of getting the chance to spin the second wheel. -Apparently EDIT: Even if it's under a hide tab? Fine, go for it then. But Lablel It!! And your adding it up / getting a PC for it :

Please keep a tally of your drops somewhere else, as it'll make this all very messy.

My plan is to expose the truth once and for all, putting the fabled object in it's rightful place. My investigation will be thoroughly scientific :ugeek: This will make it useful to the everyday player and will also give me a reliable conclusion, to a certain degree of accuracy. Step 2 Go hunting a monster and keep a tally of your first 100 kills, you can do this on a piece of paper with a pencil, or if your feeling really adventurous, write it in blood. Step 3 Method: DO NOT INCLUE ANY DROPS DEEMED TO BE "100% DROPS" I advise to kill on a lop population world - this allows you to enter your data in between kills, reducing the chance of an error. Step 4 Fill out this form: (All monsters to be killed in sets of 100) Monster Killed: Ring of wealth used or not: Then, make a hide tab: [hide=][/hide] And record your 100 drops. Then, please tally those drops up into an ordered system by stating "TOTAL" eg. 20 Oak planks+blue charm ... ... ... Total drops: 810 oak planks, 45 blue charms ect...... Step 5 Relax, leave the rest to me. I highly suggest doing something like Spiritual Mages, as in the God Wars Dungeon, there is a handy kill count to keep track of your kills. A special note on Aviansies (and other monsters of this manner) - Please kill all of the same level Avianseies while testing, this is annoying as some people may take your spot, but it keeps the investigation fair. RULES :arrow: You can kill ANY monster you like, just make sure it's 100 of them. :arrow: Don't interrupt your killing streak by killing something else. Eg, Killing a Saradomin Knight whilst killing Saradomin Spiritual mages. (This will also include soloing boss monsters, unless you can stay there for 100 kills) :arrow: Don't fake results :arrow: Don't include team killings GOOD LUCK! P.S. I did blast furance from 64 - 68, and i plan to get 69 there for Rocking out. Its not that much effort, and with only using half the coal, you can even make a profit! I used SC hammers, it really sped it up. Just get 53 smithing to make mith bolts (unf), they stack in your inventory so you can stay at the furnace for as long as you want, at 53 smithing you could expect at least a level per hour / hour and a half at the very least. Use SC hammers from level 60 or so in my opinion. To get 53 smithing? Cannonballs all the way. Slow exp, but good money, allowing you to pay for the mith ores and coal for the blast furnace :

Heres my thesis on how it works (Pscologically): ____________________ Graves are for the rich: 500,000gp? For a significant proportion of the game, thats quite a bit of money, even for myself, I only have the best f2p grave. But, as we all know, the richer you get in Runescape, the Greedier you become. Meaning: If you get rich, you can afford good equiptment, which you could then go and do GWD solo for exalmple. If you die there, even with 5mins with a grave, your 100% screwed. ____________________ Conversly, if you are in a team, and you Lag, resulting in a "mild case" of death, you can go and make yourself a cup of tea, come back to your computer and go get your stuff back. I completely understand that this is a massive change from the old system, and it has it's flaws, but you can garuntee that JaGex will come up with a better system, after alll; they did with PVP and with the trade limit - Grand Exchange (arguably). _______________________ NOTE: I Personally don't have 70 prayer, so i can't bless. But I went DKing with some friends, and i have personally never felt so at peace when I watched them refuse to bless a crasher's grave. Even when he PMed us and got into our CC :D (We asked them to leave / hop nicely - I was mager, and I got rex on them with my mad skillz - they prayed Melee, prime spawns, hits one of em with a mage attack, 1st hybrid dies, 2nd prayed mage in time, rex gets an attack, hits a 15 then his ROL goes active. I think the mager teled, i'm not sure. So, graves can have their upsides
