Dislike power weapon camping with all armor lock in that one room on Sword Base? Well now everyone is voting Elite Slayer so that we have all of that with sticky grenades. We should have seen this coming whenever Isolation was used in Halo 3. The zombies Isolation map was the worst thing ever created in Halo. Ever. Power weapon camping in that room on sword base isn't a problem if you can organise your team. Get some of them to throw frag grenades up the lift into the room and the rest of them to throw them through the doorway, the room will clear out in no time. Even better if you can grab the grenade launcher.

I'm considering re-subscribing just for ROTM. Hopefully it will be a fantastic quest that will be the end of that particular quest line completely. It may eve put us into the year 170.

Kind of sad to see what's become of PK'ing. Yes, because the problem with PKing is people like me. Not the broken PJing system that Jagex point blank refuse to acknowledge or fix, the hundreds of trolls in each PKing world, the ability to instatab from any fight and survive 100% of the time, the combat system where 90% of the time stats play less of a role than luck, the constant server lag or the herds of dicers lagging out the PKing worlds. No, it is definitely people like me. People that get kills by outsmarting someone or catching them off guard. I agree that the system is broken, but you aren't really outsmarting them, it's more of a trick - or just a huge rush in that dark bow video. Tricking someone isn't really outsmarting them either, it's more distracting them and rushing. Outsmarting implys that you've used more brainpower than them. It's like saying I outsmarted you by pushing you into a road of oncoming traffic. However, I don't really care for PKing and you're free to do whatever you want.

Harnessing the power of the darkmeyer tree using a connect four machine? It's like a really bad and elaborate episode of batman.

Bloom Reduction - I'm against this on principal. Armour Lock - Needs a bit of a nerf but I still enjoy it Active Camo - Same as above Sword block nerf - Strongly disagree with this.

Got Borderlands GOTY edition the other day for £10 and it's worth every penny, i've still not completed it. Fantastic fun, and you can give the expansion disc to a few friends and play through some of the DLCs with them at no extra cost, as long as they have the original Borderlands game.

I've found that with the addition of armour abilities in Reach bumper jumper has become less effective. In Halo 3 there was no reason not to use it, as you had much more control when jumping, and it became much easier to aim and melee. However, in Reach you are placed at a disadvantage using all the armour abilities apart from maybe active camo, as it's a pain to click the X button in a hurry. Try using the jet pack or evade and you'll see what I mean. In all you're put back on a level playing field, which is an advantage for balancing reasons, but a disadvatage for anyone thinking jumping and turning is possible. The only AA that requires holding onto a button is Jetpack. So that's the only AA I have an disadvantage on. The others are just as easy to use. A single X tap does the job. I don't understand how using Evade would be hard. I was thinking that because of the way you hold the controller, evade becomes less effective as you kind of have to awkwardly move your hand away from the thumbsticks, which is annoying if you're evading. I'm going to switch to bumber from regular and see what difference I get. Oh and DMR bloom doesn't bother me, the idea behind it is to pace your shots, rather than spamming the shoot button. Besides, everyone is at the same disadvantage.

Is Manchester the furthest north the rioting has spread, do we know? I also saw a bit this morning on some of the organised street gangs in London bragging about what they've been up to (burning patrol cars/looting/robbery etc) which in turn prompted rival gangs to "up their game" by burning more police vehicles and looting more shops. I'd imagine this might be part of the reason why gangs of youths further north started rioting, not to be outdone. It sounds [bleep]ing stupid but it's the exact same here with teams of neds and scumbags going [bleep]-for-tat, fighting and stabbing people over "territory". If your rival does something, you do the same but in a more impressive fashion. Heck, I'll try to find the article. It puts it a lot more eloquently. Liverpool had last night, I think that's just slightly further north. It'll be Cumbria and Kendal next :ohnoes: Rolex, Mcdonalds and Tesco metro are also now victims. It's all in/around Market Street and St Annes Square in Manchester.

Foot Asylum, Swarovski and lush have all had heir windows smashed. Barclays and HSBC all have armed guards inside so don't think the rioters fancy it.

It's kicking off near me in Manchester. Miss Selfridges is being burnt down, the UGG boots shop has had it's doors smashed and there's quite a few hooded "people" on Picadilly gardens and on Market street. The only real reason I can think of that this would happen is that youths are just thinking "Well, everywhere else got a riot, why shouldn't we?"

It seems to be like it's separated into ones where you collect points and ones where you don't for the rewards so it's possible that you can work towards it in some way (stock up on supplies etc.) but not in the way Jagex sees it. Stocking up on shade keys maybe? Or sacred oil and logs at the very least. Unless they plan to change the way the minigame works dramatically.

My friend took salvia at his house the other week, he ended up not talking for over an hour and just smiling with his eyes closed. Turns out he thought he was a couch and when he was thinking if there were any coins lost inside him he went on a magical journey of adventure.

out of curiosity, why do you hate to say it? I mean, that is probably my number one favorite thing to say about a month's updates Becuase I know that now i've said it, it's jynxed and all the updates will disappoint. :thumbdown:

I hate to say it... but this month actually looks quite good. Shades of Mort'on update - Easily one of the best minigames out there, yet unloved Temple Trekking update - Lets hope it actually makes it playable Branches of Darkmeyer - One of the better, unspoiled, quest lines getting furthered Graphical and Audio stuff isn't an update really, if they release it as a standalone update for a week i'll be a bit cross.

This is one of those games that doesn't disappoint because the developers make it what it should be; mindless fun. I genuinely can't wait to dress up as a hot dog and kill some hookers. And then play some SR3
