Because laos gives me just about nothing for being included in my (growing)empire I am issuing them an ultimatum either join us in a year or be invaded (they have little to no military) so lets see how they respond ;)

What the hey I have been saving up for awhile, Ross I would like to buy the designs

well, it worked something like that in area 7 (book i read a while back). they used a plane to launch something into space... also, a plane requires alot less preperation for each launch than a rocket. how would you reach escape velocity? anyways we have this thing called a space shuttle perhaps you have heard of it?

Hey RPG do you wanna have a joint effort on the terravenger?(outside of haven) Anyways @Ross exactly how much do those plans cost?

National Healthcare. What do you think of it?
The reason why they pay more is that they have much more than the bottom 60% (correct me if I am wrong). While I agree that the spending is absurd (especially in the military) and needs to be cut there does need to be some taxes on corporations (not obscenely high or low) but enough to get some revenue from them... Furthermore please do not propose that left wings are to blame for the almost idiocracy in politics (look to the californian No New Taxes Pledge). Well that being said I now realize how stupid it was for me to argue with reb.

I do believe that I once proposed this and was quickly shot down...

It's called capitalism, and buddy, it's the only thing on this planet providing the medical innovation thats keeping its people alive. Yes but there is capitalists who say screw the general public I dont wanna pay  which seems to be the american(or at least californian outlook on these things :-# ) And then there are pseudo socialist nations like certain northern european nations who actually do some things for the common good while providing funding for state projects. Also another reason why american (and right now russian) capitalism is horrible is that something like the 0.5% of the nation(probably much less) owns over 60% of the total wealth

Or we just ignore that. Plus Jupiter is a very important planet, and life on earth would probably end without it. I'll sell you a ship. 300 billion for a colony ship, or an industrial ship (for extraterrestrial mining). Or both for 550 billion. The multi (industrial) ship isn't very useful without the colony ship though. It would take me 5 years from now to complete one ship, or 7 years from now to do both. I thought you were building me a ship :o

Ross how much do each of your A-2 suits cost? I'm not selling them individually, I'm selling the designs, since I no longer have too much use for my very old designs. I have also decided to show where I got the idea for my Icarus drones, just to show people how awesome they look. I'm sure one of you has played a Zone of the enders game, right? [hide="Raptor"/Icarus drone from a Z.O.E game][/hide] I am also setting up 20 more production lines(4 factories) for these, and hope to have numbers up to 16 million in 5-6 years. Also, at what point does one become a military superpower, as I would rather like that title  Edit: Confused at the above post. Do I laser Jupiter to hell, or what? how much do the designs cost because I wants them

I thank you for your generosity! If only other nations would pitch in... That was seriously a lot of money to dump into an international project though. I'm sure it'd be possible if every Haven nation donated like 75bil. Just add water (and wait like a decade) and presto! instant super ship! (besides we still have to pay for producing these bad boys) I figured unless i donated it wouldnt get done even though I may call of my laos diplomatic attempts because they are a real how to put it...fixer upper

Malaysia update: We are beggining the invasion of thailand and diplomatic talks with Laos (both should take 3 years before they come under our grip) Also we have begun outfitting HAW's with rocket launchers capable of launching SAM's anti tank missiles and anti personnel rockets as well as creating a covering for the joints on the HAW that would cover the joints with a layer of steel like a shell but have a gap in the very bottom to allow for movement(This is mainly to protect against incendiary rounds/SED's) It should take 2 years to fully outfit all of my HAW's with those 2 upgrades. Also malaysia has donated 300 billion to project terravenger

National Healthcare. What do you think of it?
This "me first, screw everybody else" attitude is precisely why half the planet hates America. If we want to be at all respected on the world scale, we need to excise this psychological cancer of an attitude. Yes I heartily agree but correct me if I am wrong but dont we already have nationalized health care ie medicare medicaid and to the best of my knowledgeTHE HEALTH CARE OF THE SENATORS OBJECTING TO SOCIALIZED MEDICINE once again correct me if i am wrong

Why do we associate the Confederate Flag with racism?

Now that people are telling their army sizes I may as well do mine My total population is roughly 350 million people(I love south east asia) of which 5 million is in the infantry/tank army. My Walker forces consist of 350 HAW's and 150 TAW's(each loaded with 2 ICBM's). My Navy consists of 5 aircraft carriers 10 frigates 40 destroyers and 11(non nuclear) submarines. My airforce consists of 10,000 UnMannedRocketFighters with 10,000 accompanying pilots. I have a missile defense system as well which consists of SAM's interceptory ICBM's good old fashioned AA guns Specially modified UMRF's designed to shoot down either ICBM's or enemy aircraft, and finally some "return fire ICBM's" That is my military The only things we have going on is a space project(7 years left) Buying a ship from Doom(How many years left depends on when he decides to start building) Basic production and training of army, navy, and air-force. And most haven projects... @ hedge Exactly What would you use it for?

1. That would be extremely ineffective for anything aside form demolition etc. 2. How do you control the laser part of it because it would most likely just go on forever. 3. A machine gun would mow down any troops carrying it. 4. It would require tremendous amounts of power to have it capable of cutting for just a second. 5. Why would you even want that?

so if i ordered it now and payed 100 billion per year that would be manageable to say the least...(I would like to order one) obviously

Would it be possible for me to pay 100 billion dollars a year or is it all up front?

well i dont know that much about incendiary rounds, really. but it wont be a purely conventional bullet, either. ill draw a diagram of what the SEDs look like when i get the time. [hide=][/hide] rough sketch of what we hope the SED's to look like. forgot to add in that the fins contain small circuits+micromotors to correct its flight path in the air to ensure it hits the target. a sight on the HAHDs (hevaily armoured humanoid drones) main weapon will mark a target for the SED which it will then home in on if your going to have a dart it will have to be fairly small for that small amount of explosive to launch it (please correct me) but i dont think that there are that much more powerful(no nuclear) explosives than c-4

But they aren't bipedal instead they are 8 legged and heavily armoured...(so not to the same degree) There is always going to be small weaknesses in the armour of something like that, especially around joints. thats what the SEDs are for; get in the small hole and blow up from there, to destroy the area around that joint, soon rendering it imobile yes except they would be short ranged and well they wouldnt go that far with an anti tank shell lodged up their[cabbage] by short range, i intended it to mean about the range of your standard bullet. in this day and age (of the thread) where things can hit from such great distances, a bullet-ranged weapon is pretty short range, but good enough to do damage. also, anything that can launch an anti tank shell wont be doing too well with exploding rounds bearing down all around it, either how are you launching them air pressure? likely going to be the same as a regular bullet; a controlled explosion propells it to the target, but with this, another explosion occurs after it slams into the target, with a much more volatile explosive than was used to propell it. either that, or it gets launched railgun or gaussgun style- magnets. but thats unlikely [/hide] wouldnt that be the exact same as incendiary rounds?
