RuneScape Information

  1. Manage Thy Kingdom seems to still be glitched for those affected previous to the fix, like has been hypothesized before. Mine was in there for a week, so it seems maybe...the longer it was in there the smaller loot? No idea. Got ~10M from a week, usually get ~3,000 coal, this time I got 14,000, so looks like about a 4x increased?
  2. The slayer update about being able to learn the special trait or whatever they call it, with the hammer, salt, etc: You still need the required item in your inventory but it will auto-kill it once it gets to 0 HP, meaning WITHOUT the requirement of the additional click. This DOES work with Range and Magic as well (from a distance) you DO NOT have to be standing next to the monster to kill it. Edit: The "killing blows" ability.
  3. The "special $4.99 gift" is a wristband... A $5 wristband? Better be made from leather from a award winning horse.
  4. Poison doesn't...never thought of that...good idea. Thanks. Edit: Yup, poison was the way to go. Thank you! Feel stupid for not thinking of it myself, but whatever. Thanks!
  5. I have a pure mage/slayer account and I recently made it member to focus on the slayer part. Turael only works for so long before bats are boring, so I would desperately like to use Mazchna. The only thing separating me from using him is Priest in Peril. Unfortunately, the Temple Guardian is immune to Magic and my strength, attack, and defense are at 0. Will a friend using Vengeance on me work for a kill? I read a ring of recoil kill will not count, but will Vengeance? Can anyone give me some pointers on killing it? I had planned on using ring of recoils and Vengeance Other to kill it, but if Vengeance won't work...then I need another idea. Thanks!
  6. As much as I know better than to think Elves...It's the only conclusion i can come to with this hint. There aren't "old friends" in Ardougne and I wouldn't say we're "friends" with anybody in the Gnome Stronghold, though I remember Jagex saying they wanted to update Gnomes... Only other places I can think of, besides Elves is the Fishing Colony, which I hope not, or the Phoenix Quest, but...there's only one friend there, the guthix priest. Elves here we come!
  7. Well...the icon on the music tab is no longer the harp-ish thing...its like a piece of parchment with a treble written on it
  8. I know a while back people were thinking of the possibilities of new skills...and one in particular caught my eye: Bard. I could easily see this being a Bard skill cape, yes it does look exactly like the music icon, but that could very well change (as well as the cape symbol itself). Edit: Apparently it doesn't look exactly like the music icon >.< It use to...I thought...I'm crossing my fingers for Bard though.
  9. In the west direction, instead of Prifddinas I think it could easily be Soul Wars. The latest Chaos Elemental letter mentions the Nomad there being important (or whatever it says...).
  10. He means like...hidden faces like the Man in the Moon for instance or those burnt pieces of toast Jesus and Mary always show up on...not...figures without faces...
  11. If it is new I don't see it coming out anytime soon. As much of a fan I am of the Elf quest line it doesn't look like its so high on Jagex's to do list. Elves are so 2005, Mahjarrat are so 2009-until Jagex decide Mahjarrat are so 2009 and the next [bleep]'d quest line becomes Monkeys. I don't have terribly high hopes for Priffdinas...with Jagex thinking minigames are the [cabbage], the entire Elf city will probably be a giant, glitched, overrated, postponed minigame. But seriously...I think we'll get at least one new minigame for the city - possibly something agility related.
  12. Would it be too much to ask for if the ring enchantments carry over after you've enchanted themselves yourself? Could a Ring of Wealth actually provide bonuses and be a bit more useful than a less-than-comforting effect? Does anything know? Has anybody even gotten into the ground floor rewards room yet? >.<
  13. Is it just me, or does gaining rank in this game seem like a very tedious, never ending task? If you win you get 2 rank points, that's 50 wins in order to just gain 1 level. It would take 200 wins to get to the top...400 games if you keep winning. I'm interested to see the higher rewards, at the basic level there's clothing that appears to just be a basic outfit with no bonuses...but I don't have the points nor the patience to get enough points to see if they do provide bonuses... Waiting times are ridiculous...I think this'll calm down after the first week or so but I was getting priority 3 for a good 5-10 minutes before finally getting in... Can you...hide your troops in the environment somehow? I thought there was 3 troops left of one person (me being left with like 6) so I attacked and then the other team burst out with like 7 people...I had no idea what happened and died horribly because of it.
  14. Alright thanks guys. Ape Atoll it is.
  15. I want to go from 71-80 Agility. I haven't trained Agility in over a year and when I did it was using the Agility Arena for much of that. I know I have two options really, Ape Atoll and Agility Arena. Using the tip.it calculators I devised 3 different ways to train to that...but I have no idea which way is smartest: Method 1: 71-75: 1,150 Agility Tickets 75-80: 1,332 Ape Atoll laps The real benefit here is that I could do Agility Arena with high proficiency until 75 where I heard Ape Atoll becomes infallible? Method 2: 71-80: 3,500 Agility Tickets Method Three: 71-80: 2,017 Ape Atoll laps I don't know which method to use as I am highly unfamiliar with the speeds of Agility Arena vs Ape Atoll. Any help would be appreciative.
