  1. Inb4 Psycho gets banned I'm kind of skeptical about buying a 360 off ebay. Is there any way to prove it actually works? Will I get a refund if I get one with a red ring?
  2. I would do that if the whole red ring of death thing weren't so common.
  3. What's the cheapest place to get an xbox 360? The newest video game related thing I got is, uh... probably something from 2007ish. I'm so out of the loop.
  4. Nifty. Reading it now. On a slightly different note, is there a name for the type of art they use in SF? It's so purty.
  5. Personally what I did was: 1. Look up the character(s) and what he/she/they can do and what their weaknesses are. 2. Memorize some easy to know combos posted on shoryuken.com or another site. Maybe watch some tutorial videos. 3. Go to training mode. 4. Practice moves that require a motion (such as the Hadouken) on one side of the screen on the dummy. After a while, switch sides with the dummy and practice the move in the other direction. 5. Develop some muscle memory by practicing some combos you have looked up online on the dummy. 6. If you think you can do the combo on a moving target, set the dummy to CPU. 7. Go through Arcade Mode a few times. 8. Find a friend and help each other with match-ups against other characters, or go on Ranked or Player matches and try your best. These types of games require some more dedication and persistence to get good at than your average FPS. If you're wanting to start out on traditional 2D fighters, I suggest getting Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 when it comes out November 15. The reason why is because the button system is much more simple and that attacks chain together much more easily than on Street Fighter. But if you don't want to wait that long, you can download Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online Edition off of XBL/PSN. 12 years of gaming history right there and, in my opinion, a bit better than Street Fighter IV. That's actually almost exactly what I was thinking. Well, the 1 - 8 part at least. I'll try to get an xbox before November 15th. I'm pretty excited. I've always liked watching fighter videos. I can't wait to get into them. Is it better to start in training mode if you have more or less absolutely no experience instead of going through arcade once to kind of get a feel for the game?
  6. I really have no idea where these guests keep coming from. Is it a glitch or something? Do any of you know?
  7. Checking it out You mean Mugen? My mother got me an electric razor to trim my beard. I decided to trim my pubes too. Terrible idea. It itches like hell.
  8. I guess I have a reason to get a 360 now.
  9. What's a good way to get into fighting games? It seems like something I'd be interested in. I don't have any experience other than randomly mashing buttons at arcades when I was little and casually playing ssb.
  10. OKAY, FINE. BE THAT WAY.
  11. then abc posted
  12. I wasn't really expecting to like the Deadpool comic, but then I did.
  13. Why was the you know "you have been when" thread stickied in the first place?
  14. So last weekend after getting mad wasted and banging 20 biddies, yo, I went to the football game and saw a movie with my girlfriend. Then we drank more alcohol and played sports. There were a bunch of people around the whole time.
  15. I actually agree with pie on this one. Anime clubs suck. I thought you didn't read weeaboo posts.
  16. The president when I was a freshman was really cool and actually knew a lot about anime. There was even a cheerleader in the club. It went to shit after the president graduated. I never went back.
  17. I watched it in anime club freshman year. Everybody was talking over it the whole time and it was the first time I'd seen anything subbed. I have shitty vision, too, so that didn't help. I don't remember thinking it was that great, but given the circumstances, I can see why. I'll try re-watching it some time. I already know the big spoiler at the end, so I don't really know if it's worth it.
  18. Why'd y'all stop posting?

  21. I found a natural floating minecart track. I took a screenshot, but then I copied something else. Oh well.
  22. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFx1VMQ2ck8&feature=related NGE is best mecha ever (tbh I've only seen NGE, TTGL, and some Gundam/transformers on Cartoon Network)

Jet Propulsion I launch myself high in the air to dodge. I fall on top of you.
  24. This game would knot knot be a lot better if the word was changed a lot more frequently.
  25. Am I the only one who didn't like TTGL?
