  1. Oh, that's a lot cheaper than I thought, I'll definitely look into that then. Thanks!
  2. Thanks Gilformen, I'll try that. Quyneax, how much would that cost? I considered chinning but I didn't think it'd be worth it at my level. And spazzx, I've been trying that but they're really slow exp.
  3. I have 73 ranged and I'd like to get 80, do you guys have any suggested methods for how I should get there?
  4. "There is a test that you must face so I can ensure that you are up to the challenge ahead. The test will be a 'cryptic clue', like those that the infamous Roddeck enjoys with a good cup of tea and a cooked shark. Normally you would need to find out whom you are going to with the clue but for this test you simply need to bring me the correct items." ...Doesn't that make this kind of easy? If I remember right, wasn't figuring out who to bring the items to half the puzzle the last two times?
  5. I did once, and honestly it felt a lot weirder than just leaving it. It's not a big deal to me. On the topic of general shaving, yeah some of my friends on the swim team have had to shave their legs and armpits. The earlier comments made it sound like their friends did it on their free will, but at my school you face getting cut from the team if you don't do it. <_<

    Today...

Woohoo, first post on this thread! (though I lurk a lot more than I post..) Let's see. Today I woke up at 7 AM even though it's summer, because I have a Digital Filmmaking class from 9-1. I don't think I've ever taken a better class, in school or out of, in my entire life. The downside is that its only a week long  so its all very rushed. Fun stuff though, some friends and I learned how to use CS pretty well, and as it turns out, my friend's dad gets enormous discounts on all Adobe products, including the CS5 Master Collection. That should lead to some fun summer projects, at least. Other than that, fell asleep as soon as I got home. Tried achievement-whoring Black Ops by playing the campaign on Veteran, raged hard, and gave up. Listened to some music. Chatted with some friends. Uneventful day, but tomorrow I'm going to the county fair, which should be fun.
  7. Thanks, that cleared everything up nicely. Well, off I go to get some defenders I guess.
  8. ooglog pool + shotput tokens should be the best if you're not going for variety. QFT. However, if you're collecting the tokens for hunting Dragon defenders / Cyclopean helmets, you're probably better off collecting tokens of every type. It uses less tokens overall (but this evens out, since some of the tokens are harder to get), and more importantly, increases the chance of finding Cycolossus, getting Dragon defenders, and also increases your damage slightly. If you're collecting the various types of tokens - Animation room: Animated rune armor has a good tokens / lifepoints ratio, and tends to break less often. However, it tends to have higher defence too. Try them first. If you find yourself missing a lot, try Animated black armor instead. Dummy room: Bring two weapons that can take care of all the dummies. Preferably, pick one that's good for all but one of them, and use another weapon for that last dummy, such as a Mace + Battleaxe. Catapult: Probably the slowest mini-game, but there's really no two ways about it. Shot put room: Like Grimy mentioned, finish "As a First Resort" and use the spring for infinite energy. That'll give you consistently good scores here without needing to rest, and very fast tokens. Jimmy's challenge: Like the Shot put room, your energy matters. Use the spring to get infinite energy before playing this game to minimize chance of failure. Ah, now I'm a whole new level of confused. Thanks for the reply, it was really helpful! Except...there's multiple types of tokens? I thought each activity gave a collective amount (I can't think of an equivalent mini-game) but does it gives different kinds, like the Mage Training Arena?
  9. ooglog pool + shotput tokens should be the best if you're not going for variety. was fixed with warriors guild update So I should use the mithril armor method? Thanks. One more question, though, should I bring extra armor pieces in case some are destroyed?
  10. What do you guys think is the best way to obtain tokens (for Defenders) at the Warriors' Guild? To be honest, I'm not even sure if they're called tokens or points, the RuneWiki guide didn't make much sense. Sorry if the wording was a bit confusing, I couldn't figure out how to word it right.
  11. Erm... then turn public chat to private/off and don't talk to them? A lot of the time though, I try to see if they're any decent (spoiler: they aren't, haha). But you're right, usually I add them to ignore if they get too annoying
  12. I haven't had many issues at that course (though I've only done it for a few hours) but I get where VoidRealm is coming from. Like, griefing is just so [developmentally delayed]ed. On the upside, the person attacking you is usually pretty irrational, and you can get them mad easily  And if you bring a DDP, there's a chance you can poison them, or at least do a lot of damage, so that can be fun too. But its just so facepalm when someone attacks you "4 the lulz"
  13. Not gonna lie, in some ways I think BH was better than normal wildy PKing because so few people had the patience to wait half an hour for a target. I'm not much of a PKer (at all), but the few times I did BH the people I was paired with were always pretty nice. One time the guy and I made normal conversation, asking if the other watched the world cup, who they were rooting for, etc etc. Another time I did get kind of pissed off, because my target was in a range duo, but those guys talked too, and even gave a "holy **** that was scary close" which wasn't so bad. I don't want to PK anymore because its annoying how many people talk [cabbage].
  14. yeah, I've never really been too tempted to cheat. I know a few people who do, and for one guy it kinda pisses me off because it seems like he NEVER gets caught. I did feel bad for one friend though, because he got 80 range on his own, and botted to 85, but he got a stat reset back to level 1. As for RWT, I've never had enough money in-game to consider selling, and the average price is like, $1 for 2m or something? In the short run it might be worth it, but I can't imagine paying more than $10 for anything. And if something's less than 20m anyway, why bother paying real money? Bug Abuse: I've never known any bugs haha. I wasn't p2p for Penguin Hunting, and I only started in 05 (so nooby though) so I probably missed everything anyway.
  15. Usually I won't talk, just because there's no one else to talk to. And a lot of the time I'll see people having a conversation, but I'd rather listen to it than actually talk, haha. I don't mind it though, and I can't remember ever being called a bot. probably been reported before though :P
