Uhm I personally think its kind of lame to celebrate ( well not exactly in a positive sense ) a certain anniversary in a game. I agree with Lordjake that fally massacre is a bit over exagerated. However, if there is an event worthy of remembering then it would have to be the Phat Duping event back in RSC. I'm pretty sure that a lot of people from the old times would agree with me on that. The Phat Duping had a MAJOR ( x10 ) effect on the economy back then. Nobody expected items worth millions to all of a sudden drop to 0 gp to 100k. Not only did it change the economy, but also exposed Jagex silly lies; "If you have a duped phat, drop it and do not keep it or you may experience harsh consequences". <-Yea right jagex, :lol:. Varrock was packed with people screaming: CRACK ME, CRACK ME, CRACK ME (reference to xmas cracker). Oh, I was one of them.. I was lucky enough to get a red phat too :thumbsup: Good times.

Heya, Been trying to access RSC lately but every time I open it up it gets stuck on 98% ( Loading main game ). Yes, I still have access. I guess this is the right place to post about it. Anybody else run into such problems ? ( if so, howd you fix it ? ) cheers

I recently came out of a 1641 day perm ban. Not really aiming for any 99's but gonna use my WC ( level 99 ) to gather up some cash and hopefully begin a successful road to merchanting. So heres my bank ( 01-June-2009 ), I explained in another thread how I have extra sets of rsc holiday items.. might as well paste it here too: ( It was a bug back when RSC to RS2 transfering of items was released. No need to go crazy on me. Even JAGEX had to ASK ME how I did it. So me and Jagex are cool, lol.): Ill update again later on when I manage to make some money :lol:

OT to you too: Why does your name sound so familiar? I have a feeling I might have known you before I was banned. The name Esper really rings a bell. -- EDIT: I checked the site on your signature (RuneHead). You know Duke Freedom? Me and him were friends on RS. He helped me get to 80 smithing and 80 magic. Hey Bauke, thanks for giving your input. I gotta ask though, do you ever feel bored while training skills? I know chatting with friends can be distracting at times when training.. but personally, It was the force that kept me going before I retired.

I recently got my main unbanned after almost 4½ years. After 1641 days later (Banned on 2004), my perm ban got quashed ( If you're curious to know what the perm ban was: my main got stolen and abused when I retired ). I must say it felt very nostalgic and delightful logging in again. While chopping some magic trees to make money, I got the following PM: By the time I noticed the PM, he went offline :cry:. Its not surprising that most of my friends have long quit already since I'm from the RSC era ( started playing in 2001 ). The ones who still play keep their Public OFF. So for how long do you preserve some of your Friends ? F2P has a max list of 100 and P2P has 200. Obviously overtime we tend to make more friends and remove those who haven't been around for a LONG time.. or do we.. what are your thoughts ? PS. The intention of this thread is not to turn it into a Missing Persons list, but merely a discussion on RS Friends. My bad, if a thread like this has been made in the past.

A little bit off topic.. but how long does it take before you get your appeal answered ( on average ) ? It's been more than 2 weeks and still no response -.-.

it was the other way around. They automatically switched your items from rsc to rs2. They didn't come out with the option to switch items back to rsc for a few days, some people were speculating that jagex did it as a way to subtely force everyone to try rs2 before going back to the game we knew and loved. Not long after they made a back and forth transfer possible for a little while. That is how some accounts (like one of mine) had multiple bunny ears and scythe's on them. You xfered your items over and then went to draynor to get another one of the items and xfered again. good times hahahaha, LOL! LOL! Good times, lmao!!! I did that with my old main ( now banned ), God of End. I had exactly 17 bunny ears and 17 scythces. The best part is how Jagex sent me a message asking me: How did you get 17 bunny ears and 17 scytches ? LOL. I can still log in God of End's inbox but sadly nothings there except the message of my perm ban (from 2004). I made an appeal ( no response yet and I have a feeling it's going to get rejected AGAIN ), if I get him back then all I can hope for are my extra sets of bunny ears and scythes :lol: :lol: :lol:

I highly doubt the majority of people here ( excluding fook a ji ) will remember you since you were one of the early rsc players ( check out the hiscore interface ). Welcome back!

It depends what point you joined runescape - can you consider 'who' is famous / known in the game. Early RSC without a doubt youd have: 1. bluerose13x 2. Zonghui ( how many people feared this guy ? ) 3. Ifukkdyourmom ( lol talk about irony when it comes to him ). 4. Tks and L6vi ( top overall ). 5. Snakeslava ( 2x 99 ranged at a time it was a pain to train it. ) Later RSC: 1. Bonebreaker6 and 2. Lilyuffie RS2: 99's exploded.. so really whos famous anymore ? I guess Zezima, since he held the overall spot for a really long time.

If they released the complete list of players who registered from ( for example ) 2001 to 2003. You can scim through it and I bet you'll go, hey thats mine! just a suggestion :lol:

Heya, For a good 15 minutes today I been trying to brainstorm on some of my old RS characters names. Sadly, I can only recall 2 ( one of which I'm using now ). And yes, none of them have numbers in their names, :lol:. So, could there possibly be some way Jagex can help assist us in a list of our old characters ( Yes, I'm aware how 100,000+ people would spam jagex for a list ) ? I highly doubt such an event would occure ( or maybe not ), but o well.. As a sidenote: I can vividly recall back in 2002 collecting santas on my mule. If only I could remember his name.. :o :lol:. Not to forget dumping my pure with skeletons overnight macroing ( But that was just with my pure. *cough* almost everyone did it with their pures back in rsc *cough* ).

My main back from 2001 got perm banned in 2004. I got a couple of 99's ( from both RSC time and RS2 time ). Shame, it was a big thing to have a 99 back then... Ill post here again if I get my character back, lol. I doubt ill use it though :P.
