Or mages could go out and kill other mages, so I'd have somebody to kill. The problem you will face is that you can use an melee spec on someone wearing robes (high hit chance) during the time you aren't frozen. Using mage in pvp -> you will need to hybrid. You don't need to hybrid to ko, and im talking about people who are willing to fight with only magic.

Closed mouths don't get fed. You can't expect people to go on the forums after every update, give Jagex a pat on the back and say "please don't change it". If that's what it takes to stop the compromises, then do it. People who are content with the update need to let their voices be heard, otherwise they'll be overshadowed by these smaller groups and all those players who are content with the update won't even exist.

Open these two links in different tabs and compare the defensive stats: Range gear and Mage gear It's not much of a difference at all in defensive stats. btw the fact that armadyl is (in some people's opinion) the hardest boss in gwd and uses range doesn't mean anything because well last time I checked kree wasn't a player.... If you read my post you'd see that I was merely illustrating why Rangers should not get something new when they have so many different methods of training and killing open to them, especially over powered forms; whereas mages don't. I also based my arguement around what I quoted above with one guy saying that range is extremely underpowered. And unfortunately the links opened with blank setups. Tell me what your setups consisted of and I'll take a look. And no Kree isn't a player, it's merely a fact showing how something using range can be extremely powerful. By Jagex's standards I believe the SOL counted as a part of that. No, it was the mages equivilent of a godsword. Hence it's 75 Magic/Attack requirement and usefullness. ^ from the content Q & A

The hexcrest and focus sight do the same as the black mask so the hexcrest is +mage accuracy and +mage damage vs slayer task. The focus sight is +ranged accuracy and +ranged damage vs slayer task.
