RuneScape Information

  1. I was thrilled, and a bit surprised when I saw the post on RS a few days ago. Honestly I'm probably going to miss Behind the Scenes the most, but hopefully enhanced Development Diaries will make up for it. Behind the scenes was really important to me. Like back when I wasn't playing RuneScape at all, I would still check to Homepage every once in a while in an attempt to keep up with what was going on. Behind the Scenes was literally what kept me coming back to check in on things. On a side note, I'm very happy that they are finally going to make the free version of the game more enjoyable, and make it so that it won't seem like FTP is merely 'demo' version of RuneScape in it's entirety. Of course Jagex will continue to update members content as well, but keeping FTP content up to par with PTP is a huge step forward in my mind.
  2. Whooooops sorry never mind. Just read the sticky..
  3. One could easily argue that the sentence circled in read is "a hint towards sailing". There are, however, several other logical explanations if you be realistic about it. He might enjoy sailing. Perhaps he thinks that it's just something people would like to see? Or you could be right, they have done things like this in the past. Maybe he's just messing with us?
  4. The amount of content that Jagex has introduced into their game is astonishing, to say the least. If you ask me, the don't spend -nearly- enough time refining the content they already have in-game. They just keep releasing new content and continue to make the game bigger and bigger, which in the long run is why people get bored so easily. Like Me. Back on topic, I think if they introduced (or moved from P2P to F2P) so other/new transportation methods, it would make thousands of people happy.
  5. Honestly I didn't read any of the other posts in this thread, so I'm just posting my thoughts based on the OP. Lets say you know someone in real life, you might just be friends or you may even be married! Regardless of your martial status, you met in real life so what's wrong with taking that online? It just so happens that my introduction to RuneScape (waaaaaayyy back) was thanks to my good friend in real life. He is my best friend to this day, and we have known each other for most of our lives. Now lets say one day your are playing RuneScape one day, for the sake of argument you are chopping yews and you begin to make conversation with the pretty pixel gal next to you. Then what happens... it's the internet, so not much. "i luv u".
