Your first post seems like your saying: "I'm a skiller! Do you guys think I'm kewl? If you don't, please leave, and don't hurt my feelings." I agree with the smackmypotatoe guy, and if he hadn't said anything I would have said what he did. All these "Skillers are kewl if you like that, and if you don't then that's kewl too" answers bore the hell out of me, will you people have an opinion? i find that to acctualy be a huge assumption on your part as i never asked ANYONE if they thought if i was 'kewl' and if the answer's bore the hell out of you, why did you bother posting something even more useless to this thread? i accept all types of critisism and answers that revolve around the question i asked, i do not mind what their opinion is. someone's answer certainly wont hurt my feelings. i however do not expect to get flamed for a simple question that could be answered in a few words. some people have acctualy shared their oppinions on skillers saying that they dont mind them, or they find them boring. no one said they where 'kewl' if you're going to post on my thread please keepp on topic to the question i have asked thank you -.-

skkillers dont do lost city... they have to kill a lvl 100 or something plus zombies for the hatchet acctualy we can do lost city, wit the aid of a friend with high hp. basicaly it works like this. they kill the zombie, give me the hatchet, spirit appears, i use range on it (make the bow + arrows) untill i hit 1. the helper then casts confuse and finishes it with rings of recoils. the reason this works is because confuse hits nothing, and rings of recoil's dont count as player hits :

hi, i'm life of lv3. i am a skiller in runescape. what i dont understand about your rant is the fact that you classify skillers all together, as if not one of us is unique, yet the same occusion could be said about pure's or overall players. you ask why make things three times harder for yourself when you could just gain combat and gain access to all area's? well in my reply to that i will mention how combat has been making runescape easier. there is now very little challenge left on runescape if you are level 138. for skiller's this is different. having a challenge doesnt necisarrily make thing harder, but sometime's more enjoyable. you claim that pure's have a use which is to fight other players. skillers do acctualy have a similar thing: skilling races, or competitions. i dont know about you but i enjoy skilling with other players and comepeting makes it even more fun. all in all i dissagree with your rant mainly because you steriotype all skillers to have the same view's and arrogance of some you may have seen.

well i guess it could be the fact that pures intend to be thretening to their opponent, so they choose names indicating that they are strong or scary. whilst skillers avoid combat so the name's are normaly peiceful. I have noticed that their names seem to revolve around nature, such as the sun, whilst pure's names revolve around violence or 'fear factor'.

notice how i said 'pure skiller' in the description, sorry if it wasnt clear enough. #-o

thanks for taking you're time to reply :thumbup: the reason i skill is for challenge. after awhile, knowing that you can easily solo every monter in the game, go anywhere with virtualy no risk and spending all that time training gets boring, of course thats just my opinion. edit: in reply to Smackmypotatoe, honestly? i asked for you're opinions about skillers. you made it sound as if i asked you to do something much more difficult and tedious. if you'r going to post, please let it benefit the thread :shame:

hi everyone. i'm life of lv3 and if you havnt realised already, i'm a skiller. Whats a skiller? you ask. well a pure skiller is a character who does not raise combat and focuses on only skills. now, heres my question; what are you're thoughts on skillers? do you think they are fun? or maby you think they are pointless! tell me you're thoughts as i would like to know :

hi guy's and girls : i'm life of lv3. i am a skiller on runescape. Lately I havn't been doing alot :wall: so i've decided to get a move on with things and go for another 99. i've chosen to go for fishing, as i find it relaxing. here i will post my daily xp gains. i will fish lobsters untill 99, as I find this fast and profitable. i know there are faster way's but its nice to have some income! where to find me? world 78, the fishing guild. currently i have 80 fishing. starting date: 14th june 2009, 13:20pm (gmt) fishing xp: 2,099,215 xp gained = 12k goal for 15th of june = 150k xp

i personally do not agree with the 'no appeals' part of thing. seeing as they have banned two of my friends already for botting (although they wasnt) simply because they only had one skill raised. one of the two's botting offence went to 'deffered' and the other was unnable to appeal it, and he had 98 cooking. i have also been mistakenly been reported for botting, when i afk skills such as fishing and woodcutting. although these are unlikely to go through, if one succesfull report goes through (even if im legitemately playing) i wont even have a chance to prove i wasnt botting.

:? i guess this game is more fun when you'r combat level is lower than 40, as then it is really down to luck. its acctualy a really fun game :).

was talking with Mod SteveW, he's the one with the slayer cape, dragon and third age shield. i also noticed the following, you used to be able to trade Jmods, they would just never respond. Now it gives you a user friendly message somewhere along the lines of 'we are sorry, you cannot trade a jagex mod.' in the end we got him to walk through a wall and turn into a level 1. before he left he said "Mod steveW degraded slightly" then he logged out. also, to finish up this post a screenshot of the rsc [hide=][/hide]
