  2. The Glad Knights. Legacy and Envy
  3. Nice guys, was watching from the portal
  4. Requesting that legacy stop posting. We lost and no amount of [bleep]ing will change that fact. We were outclassed, whether they were on the same memberlists or not. Stop whining trying to get them DQ'ed.
  5. I don't think you understand, 30vs30 is 30vs30 no matter if one clan pulls 80.
  6. Define common? What you fail to realise is the number of strength capes go up as the general runescape populace increases. what you really want to work out is what % of the current pop. have 99.
  7. 143, or so mensa says ;) What do you mean, though? Your arguing, not trolling. I was just happy there was a debate, but it seems to have ended :| what debate? i was just attempting to frustrate you to enjoy myself. certainly laughed a lot thats for true. and the iq thing...maybe you should understand the food analogy..
  8. There are two arguments here: #1, XP\Profit (Numbers) #2, Fun (Opinion) Now, on the numbers side of it, slayer is obviously inferior to zombies. But on the opinion side of it, I believe slayer is superior to zombies. He was talking about the opinion side, so I'm not sure what he believes - he said he thinks differently then me, so he must hate slayer and like zombies, but I didn't get the food analogy. I believe your IQ is 142.
  9. But they don't give timings for kills along with banking times and drop logs. Plus it's harder to dump them into Excel and allow for random events. You don't get random events as long as you stay in constant combat anymore. Recent update (Thank god?). no, you don't dump them into excel. and I only allow myself 2-5 minutes banking, no issues there. I start the script when I first log into runescape and !stop when I log out, which believe it or not, also counts my banking times! And there is an in-game price checker (Are you one of those annoying people who shout PCPCPCPCPCPPCPC OMFG PC NOOBS in a bank because you don't realise it exists?) which I used to use before and after every task to calculate supplies used and profit gained.
  10. Dead pixels wouldn't influence your slayer numbers, so no worries there. That being said, it's generally a good idea to log XP rates when your, you know, debating about XP rates. Otherwise you just end up making up numbers and then look stuipd when your proven wrong by actual testing. Oh no, I wasn't making them up through sheer assumptions, I'm not that bad you know bud. I was using the RuneSripts !Start and !Stop functions. Those will calculate exp rates for you without the need for a stopwatch/memory. Fun Fact: I own neither of those.
  11. Yeah, it must suck to be called out on not having any numbers to back your argument up in only the 2nd post sorry, didn't realise I had to keep number for people to look at in the future instead of playing a game. in the future i'll act as though i'm at work and log down every single detail. HEY LOOK A DEAD PIXEL *writes*
  12. lol i didnt think you'd use my epic photoshop sig (took me a few hours to make with beers inside me) outside of TSG. woot im famous. selling sigs $50
  13. oops cant help u there i just reformatted my Opera web browser and my ethernet port just reformatted itself. o, and by the time it takes to get 83 slayer ( a week or so provided you have semi-high stats ) then you can easily get 1-2 dragon boot drops/hour. that's 500-600k gp/hour depending on if you wait for the market trends between selling. so by training slayer, you unlock faster methods of gaining GEEPEEZ
  14. id show u a picture of me laughing so hard i clutch my self but i just reformatedmy webcam edit: huh. finally looks like you realised i was trolling you. i guess you're lying about that IQ of yours if it took that sentence above to realise it. Either way, Slayer is more efficeint in the long run. Took me 3 days of slayer to earn 1M exp in charms as well getting hundreds of thousands of slayer exp and a million or so in each attack strength and defence. obviously im not going to apoligise for not keeping exact logs..... what kind of person devotes there whole life to logs and 6 page excel spreadsheets? edit2: looking below it actually looks like you dont think im trolling. in that case, ignore the above.
  15. I think I just laughed so hard. I said motherboard because that's where the problem lies. I had updated my GFX card, RAM and CPU as well as adding a bluray drive (nice and cheap now at £40 twice the cost of a regular dvdrw, good for burning my downlowdz onto). I did add a PSU as well, simply because my old 450W wasn't going to power a QuadCore2.6GHz and a Radeon 4850HD XXX edition, let alone when I overclock. But I would think a PSU have little effect upon windows authentification crapware. Yes, I know the magical computer pixies aren't going to steal [cabbage]. The fact remains that reformatting was my only option to access my HDD barring purchasing an extra HDD and using the old one as a non-bootable storage device which really is a waste of money. Who said my copy of windows was authentic? I'm obviously not saying it's unauthentic, that would be illegal  but I never said it was authentic. Maybe it has something to do with that Dell symbol in my system menu even though it's a custom-built pc (and has been for 2 years). Read my post, I said I had booted off a disk and updated the BIOS (successfuly, might I add) which did update my bios menu, but it would still hang when verifying the boot data. Also, do you want a bank picture (Or a HD video recording using Fraps and re-econded into DivX 720p HD so you know it's not a photoshopped picture?) to prove I sold all my armour, runes, weapon etc a few weeks ago so that I could purchase 99 prayer? I have 1 set of rune and a rune scimitar to complete new quests as they come and 500k cash, which isn't going to buy me a whip, black mask or super potions. I'm sure there are plenty of people who haven't yet managed to max slayer and might have some motivation to train it #-o Back to the actual topic. If you're saying it's faster to do completely seperate things to make money, earn charms, gain melee exp and the like rather than slaying, then you're as sorely misguided as people who believe it's faster to leave gold charms on the ground and pick up extra charms of other colours. Slayer combines all three into one manageable and much more efficient package if you're going for 90+ summoning, attack, stregtnh, defence, hp and large cash pile added ontop.
  16. Do you seriously expect everyone to troll through 58 [bleep]ing pages? Wow, just because you don't go outside (going to fix peoples computers doesn't count buddy) Jumping [bleep]ing Jacks. If you a computer consultant (And maybe you are), you'd probably know that when you order a Mobo with a different chipset/bios to the original one, that it will hang while verifying the boot data, which can either be resolved by a bios update (Which I had attempted) or to completely reinstall your operating system using the new system as a base. Thank you for learning. In fact, I have copies of emails I had sent and recieved to and from Gigabyte Corp. asking whether or not reformatting was my last option and the subsequent reply. Do you wish to see those too? Oh yea, and I'm not going to rebuild my old system to back up some old Slayer Logs I would likely never use again.
  17. [bleep] my exp rates. My rates are tame compared to this legends. Besides, I can't post my rates, reformatted last weekend (I have an order form for a new motherboard in case you think I'm [cabbage]ting you). But I can say Nechryaels were 110k, Abyssal demons 80k, Gargoyles 100+k, Bloodveld were an amazing 60k slayer/exp per hour. Have fun attempting to go against Zarfot. 98-99-51-57359284 Also, have a look at my task pictures while I was still obtaining charms for 99 Summoning. 18/03/09 [931k] ~170 Gargoyles 66 Iron dragon(task 525) 70 Black Dragons 173 Gargoyles 143 Dark Beast 183 Nechryael 19/03/09 [615k] 180 Hellhounds (task 530) 6 mithril dragons 154 Waterfiend 140 dagannoths 143 Nechryael 164 Abyssal demon(task 535) 148 Dagannoth <-- sorry about this picture....forgot to use my price checker and edit it. 20/03/09 [1300k] 142 dagannoth 7 mithril dragons 63 skeletal wyverns 193 waterfiends (task540) 45 skeletal wyverns 53 Gorak 78 (baby) black dragons 197 Abyssal Demons 146 Fire Giants(task545) 173 Spiritual Mages
  18. Time goes by fast at GWD too. GWD got me way over 800m PROFIT, so it is good money seeing the times goes by fast. Yeah, and I'll bet you used the magical fairy godsword too. Sorry, but individualized testing results make me slightly more confident then a random number you pulled out of your behind. You actually made me throw up a little when you attempted to prove yourself right. I can obtain 110k exp/hour with a goddamn whip at the nechryaels. FYI; A whip is much more efficient at training attack and defence than a godsword would be. In fact, it's more efficient on the whole if you use controlled. FACT. I obtained 22 Abyssal Whips, 70 Dragon Boots, 18 Dark Bows and uncountable dragon/rune armour drops simply through slaying. I would estimate the total profit I obtained during my journey to be around the 60-70M mark. Funnily enough, the majority of the time I was using my whip on controlled except where it would be benificial to use another weapon (For example, a Leaf-Bladed sword on metal dragons and a Crush weapon for waterfiends/Gargoyles.) yet I could still manage a flat 25-30k in each melee stat dependant upon how much attention I was paying. That would be 75-90k in a single stat (I just thought I'd do the math for you because it seems that you are extremely dim-witted) AS WELL as the majority of tasks obtaining me 200k+ profit EACH. Don't forgot the added benefit of gaining 20-28k slayer exp/hour as well! Not to mention the insane amount of charms you can collect. An average task of Nechryael would net me 80 Crimsons and I can finish a task within an hour. I blocked the tasks I don't like and it takes me 20 seconds to get a new task (If you're not a noob, you can obtain the Karamja Gloves 3 to teleport directly to shilo village from your task). You could also use Lunar Magic to get a task almost instantly or simply teleport with a ring of slaying to the pollnivneach well and walk to summona. For crying out loud, it only takes 30 seconds to Glory-teleport to Edgeville and use the fairy ring there to leg it to Chaelder. With my house portal (Any good slayer needs one of these, or otherwise a ring of slaying) I can get to ANY slayer task bar Skeletal Wyverns within another 30 seconds. If you really are as stuck at slayer as it seems you are, maybe you should ask for guidance instead of shunning one of the most enjoyable skills in the game. Besides, it's healthy to take a 15 minutes break every hour when you play computer games. I guess if you want to, you can consider that 1-2 minutes it takes to switch tasks every 1-2 hours your break. A single super set can last you upto 45 minutes. That would be a MERE 5k every 45 minutes and speeds up tasks significantly. Oh, and maybe you've never heard of the Black Mask or Slayer Helmet? EDIT; Take a look at the Slayer Records too. I managed to get 650k Slayer Exp in a single day WITHOUT the use of Lamps/Soul Wars Zeal or Slayer Points at a Master. Fact.
  19. 3 hours is a little too much... And you hinted at up to 7 hours!
  20. [15] -[AM]RuneScript- *** [ CHARMS ]: [best efficiency for lvl 30] 4656 Gold, 2124 Green, 2847 Crimson, 408 Blue | Total Exp: 701,990.4 | Total Shards: 320,964 | Shard Cost: 8,024,100 gp | Expected Lvl: 69 (715,353.4 exp) [15] -[AM]RuneScript- *** [ CHARMS ]: Mosquito: 4656 (216,504 exp) (Shards: 4,656) (Cost: 116,400 gp) | Compost Mound: 2124 (105,775.2 exp) (Shards: 99,828) (Cost: 2,495,700 gp) | Spirit Tz-Kih: 2847 (275,589.6 exp) (Shards: 182,208) (Cost: 4,555,200 gp) | Giant Chinchompa: 408 (104,121.6 exp) (Shards: 34,272) (Cost: 856,800 gp) Bear in mind that when you level up, you wont be doing those low level charms, so you could probably get pretty far past 69 if you used them wisely. RuneScript doesn't take into account pouches you can make while using them to level up, only pouches you can make from the beginning level. If I had to say, I'd use the golds and greens before the crimson and blue.
  21. If you have a 10k trade limit on a free world (recharging at 10k in 15 minutes). It's 2,856gp for 28 iron ores. This means you would have to take runs at 4.2 minutes each (so a rate of just under 400 ores per hour for the runner). With half the trade limit (Which is the absolute LOWEST), you would only get about 190 ores every hour. So as long as you have 20-25k+ trade limit, it will probably recharge by the time you can run to the bank and back.
  22. I am indeed done editing. I'd like what you thought about my thoughts on the remote blessing, and a few others like the other mind staff. But I guess it is a little too much all in one go :P And yes, I do enjoy the spellbook (maybe it'll urge me to finally train magic?) but hate the hours I'll have to spend in minigames I absolutely despise. If you are afraid of pures, give it a smaller token requirement, or simply a high defence requirement and to kill a beast that is attempting to infiltrate the fist of guthix and gain its power for itself. I just HATE fist of guthix and 400 tokens would kill me.
  23. I'm only up to page 2 so far, but I had to register to say this.. Why should I spend so many hours on minigames that I absolutely despise. Is it 20 minutes per RC minigame at 600 tokens each (let's go 50/50 here, because we're averaging it all out) which would mean well over 2 hours for 4k tokens? Same with FoG. The average player can't get many tokens here in the first place. When this quest comes out it will be even harder! 400 FoG Tokens? Dream on buddy. You seem to have based the FoG tokens on a high level saying he can get 30 tokens per game. You have to remember that not everyone is a high level. If this quest were released, it would be the longest to complete even if you DID use a guide simply due to these minigame equirementes [edit1] [hide=]You've added these teleports. Piscatoris - level 70, 2 law, 1 monkfish, Fremennik Isles - level 75, requires 1 law, yak hide, completion of "Fremennik Isles" quest Underground pass - level 80, requires 2 law, 3 earth, 1 piece of sulfur Karamja -level 85, requires 1 law, 1 banana, 1 jug of wine Sophanem -level 90, requires 2 law, 4 air, 2 buckets of sand Any decent player can get to all of slots place (With the exception of underground pass) faster than Keldagrim. Keldagrim is THE largest city on RuneScape. The only methods of transport is fairy ring - running - boats (All 3 at once) or Teleporting to Dorgeshkaan and taking the choo-choo train or taking Mine Carts.[/hide] [edit2-Rewards] [hide=]25k for unlimited Mind Runes? Mind runes are currently around 15gp each on the Grand Exchange. This is staff is FAR too cheap considering how mind runes are being used for gaining potential in PvP worlds. I think a nicer reward (this is personal opinion though, feel free to kick my :!: about it) would be staff you can charge WITH your own runes and has a fair chance of saving runes. For example a Mind Charge staff can hold upto 10k Mind Runes and the random effect when worn with quest robes will allow you to cast mind spells without using runes that often (For example, if you were to use up a fully charged staff, you might cast 10500-12000 Fire Strikes instead of 10k without the staff). Expensive staves, maybe even Death, Blood ones for an extortionate price. They could even be seperate to a mind staff, or a reward from a Quest Sequel/mini-quest. The potions are overpowered, there is no other way to put it. The reason why Melee and Ranger potions boost so much is because damage changes with levels. As it is, the current magic potion boost by 4 levels DOES allow you to hit more as long as you use the next spell possible. Maybe you could change the potions level-boost to damage boosting (1 damage boost for the cheap, 3 for the next and 5 for the final). This seems fair because there is no Ranging potion for F2P. If there were, using a yew shortbow and adamant arrows (Strongest method if I'm correct?) with 99 range and eagle eye you can hit 18. Throw in the P2P potion and it only jumps up by 2. Boost the Magic exp reward by 10k. (20k for the whole quest). A lamp giving 1000 exp to 3 seperate skills. 6000gp. 2 Quest Points. Keep the death runes :P[/hide] [edit3-Spells][hide=]I'm going to be honest. I found it hard to read the spell list. Because of this, I'm breaking it down spell-by-spell to make it easier for me :P [Teleports] <-- I'm putting all movement spells here. Including those "combat" ones. Home Teleport - Good. Rimmington Teleport - Good. Always wanted a teleport here :) Disport - Sounds fun as long as you can't go through walls, fences, over water, through agility shortcuts etc. Monastry - Very useful for F2P Pkers. Al-Kharid - Good. Shove - Any player? It's a bit random? Is it multi-combat? Does it keep going? If it pushes and pushes, you can theoretically just keep pushing a player back and he'll never reach you. Disport Opponent - Does it work in Non-PvP with accept aid? Does it work in PvP without accept aid? It needs a splashdown period like Ice spells. Apparate - Fun. Flak Blast - Dealing damage while constantly pushing the opponent away is overpowered. It needs failure rates for the pushing, but constant hits from the mage. Just like Ice currently is. I tested this with a friend recently. He could still freeze me fairly often because I could reach him and deal well over 100 damage before I dealt 10. [Non-Combat/Skilling] Remote Deposit (all of them) - I hope it doesn't deposit stacks of items. Blaze - Expensive solution to the tedious skill firemaking. Perhaps only castable at Bonfire areas (After all, I don't want to walk through a Bonfire in Camelot). Allow Ring, Gloves (Not sure if it's gloves) and Adze to be wielded. The exp boost from them is applied before the reduction from the spell. Dump Load - Use 2 Cosmics instead of 1. Super Fuse - Good spell, do you need to be by a furnace? Architect - I assume you mean Construction? This would reduce the value of 99 construction to 60%. I'm only 63 Construction (It's mylowest behind hunter) so I can't comment further. Sharpen Axe - Can only be used every hour. Stun Fish - Every 20-30 Minutes. 40% faster monkfish/sharks is too much if you can constantly use it. Master Chef - Same as above, needs restrictions. Remote Bless - You need 70 Prayer for a regular blessing. You should need AT LEAST 80 for a remote bless. 85+ to use it a second time on the same gravestone and 90+ prayer for a third and final time on the same stone. Drains twice as much prayer as a normal bless would due to the distance involved. Praise - It's about 500gp more than a prayer potion to fully restore my 80 prayer. It seems about ok. Super Alchemy - As long as it's expensive to cast. Remote deposit all - No stacks. [Combat] Thicken Skin and other Hp restoration - They don't stack with other, seems fine to me. Shielding Spells - Very Useful Impair - Almost like the miasmic spells Wilt/Rattle - Yes Pulse spells - Yes Hasten - Yes. Slay - I'm a Slayer. Big yes to this. I got all my other max combat stats through slayer (Including charms for 98 summoning). As with Slayer Dart, Requires Slayer's Staff and the max hit goes up based on Magic Level. Debase - RUN AWAAAY Beckon - It's about time I could do something other than run out of the room and back in. Aggressive NPCs GREATLY increase exp rates. Cement and other binds - Sounds useful, but maybe multi combat is a little overpowered. Rage - fun. Tempest - The accuracy reduction could be bypassed by a Super Restore potion. Blackout - As long as it's not darker than the Zamorak boss room in GWD. If it was, it is a death sentence to people with old SRT monitors. Hurricane - funfun. Awareness - Lowered defence and accuracy could be restored with a super restore potion. Flak Blast - (SEE TELEPORT)[/hide]
