I don't know about whiny or annoying, that's kind of harsh. It seemed more to me like an adventurer wanting to make sure they were going to be rewarded for all their hard work. Like Joker said in The Dark Knight: "If you're good at something, never do it for free."

Not every skill was released into the game at first either. They'll most likely add training spots for more skills with updates going forward.

Next time you get P2P, leave a cooked swordfish (and any other F2P item you think you'll need) in your bank as a placeholder before you return to F2P so you won't have to sell/buy back noted ones. As long as you have at least one in the bank, you can deposit and withdraw more.
