  1. I must be missing something. What does FunOrb have to do with your RS character's name? You can change the display name of your account (You use your RS account for FO) through FunOrb membership. It lets you change your display name in RS, but not access any of the members content? So it would be possible to change your name, but still remain pure F2P?
  2. Sorry to hear things aren't going well in reallifescape. :( Hope everything is okay. We're all here for you if you need anything. <3:
  3. I realize that. I'm well aware that bots always have, and always will be, in the game, but the majority of what I've been seeing since the return of free trade have been gold farming bots. Throwaway accounts that grab as many resources as possible to sell on the G.E. before they're banned. RWT though staking is a different matter altogether, its harder to track and prove. As long as people are willing to pay real dollars for in game items they don't want to work towards, then RWT will continue. And an excellent one at that. :)

  5. Won't be able to make it, but early congrats! Max cape is very impressive. <3:
  6. I have to disagree that Jagex is being hypocritical about real world trading. When they refer to RWT, they mean the sale or trade of in-game items by players to other players (ie: gold farmers) not promotional items given away by Jagex themselves. While I definitely don't agree with the game card promotional give away, I didn't have a problem with the Flagstaff of Festivities. Giving out a unique item to people who attended RuneFest is far from a promotional item available only at one retailer and only when one type of game card was purchased. A big part of the problem with the hordes of bots running roughshod over Gielinor, is that the majority of them are there for the specific purpose of RWT; thus, violating several rules (macroing/use of bots, real world trading, advertising websites, spamming the chat box) while at least annoying, and at worst interfering with, the seemingly decreasing minority of us who still actually play the game.
  7. Update time once again, faithful readers. Inspired by Dingo Dave's recent achievement of upgrading his Duellist's Cap to tier 6 (and it's awesome emote <3: ), I have once again ventured into the desert in search of dueling glory. While there I achieved this: [spoiler=Strength Level 55] I now have 700 kills on my record, only 1300 left until tier 5! And, as promised, I descended down into the depths of Deamonheim once more where I unlocked yet another floor. [spoiler=Dungeoneering Level 47] I'm hoping to get either 48 DG or 1000 duel kills, hopefully both, by the end of the day and then head back to the mines for a while.
  8. I'm so jealous. I haven't even hit 1000 wins yet. Well done! That emote is awesome. <3:
  9. Almost looks like the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Might some of the members of Jagex be Pastafarians?!? :o
  10. I know Bell has been capping their DSL bandwidth in Ontario for a while now. Fortunately for me, they're still honoring the existing unlimited plans. :D ...but that doesn't stop them from trying to get me to switch to a capped plan every time I call them about something. <_<
  11. The new G.E. looks great. Can't wait for the update.
  12. Dag. How have you been duelling that quickly? It felt like 500 wins took me forever.
  13. Holy cow! Are you going for 99? Are you making lots from selling the ammys? Can we have french toast for breakfast?
  14. Exactly 45,000,000xp? That's awesome!
  15. Is that tier 4 or 5? I can't tell. Either way, hats off to you sir!
  16. Welcome back! Been wondering where you got to. :)
  17. I'm not sure about the other skills, but while mining anyone who chases you around and around for over an hour without getting any ores = bot. A real person would start complaining immediately.
  18. A "bind" or "bound item" is something that you automatically have with you when you start a dungeon (with nothing bound, you would only have whatever you can find in the starting room). You start with being able to bind one item (weapon or armor) and one type of ammo (runes/blastbox or arrows), and gain another item bind at levels 50, 100 and 120. Bound items cannot be alched or sold to the Trader, but they can be changed anytime you like.
  19. Lol. "No parking zone". Mischief managed, indeed. I actually laughed at that before I saw any of the pictures. That map is one of my favorite things in Harry Potter, especially when it insults Professor Snape. Btw - I showed my girlfriend the "hello my name is" pic in the first post and she burst out laughing. We're both big fans of The Princess Bride.
  20. A platebody, obviously. :P
  21. Nice blog so far, Lily. It's always interesting to read about DIY'ers, especially when they're fellow canucks. :) If you're looking for more cosmetic items, you should check out the Gunnar's Ground quest. It only requires level 5 Crafting and rewards you with a pair of Swanky Boots. I wear mine all the time. :-D Looking forward to reading more of your adventures. Oh, and welcome to TIF btw. ;-)
  22. I have to agree with this. I'll spend a long time reading and rereading everything in a good guide, but won't watch a 10 minute video telling me the same thing.
  23. So pro! <3: CONGA RATS!!!
  24. Oh emm gee! So very jelly. Gratz Sonic!
  25. Well played.
