Lol, it seems really silly of JaGeX to do this because if you talk in clan chat then there is no chance whatsoever that you're botting (well I guess a small one). Guess they're trying to keep the game clean and instead of banning botters they ban normal players. Trust me, been there done that! I think his life was pathethic, his old days atleast, and his music rather crap. However, he had a great influence on the music industry so ofcourse it is a sad day. Not trying to talk him down, that's just how I felt about him.

No, yet again you don't read what I say! They can play the game however much they want, whenever they want and do whatever they want ingame. I just don't see a reason why they should get skillcapes. I don't care of the negative ingame effects, the fact that you have not payed anything at all to get those updates is what I care about.

Valid? They don't pay for the game?! :shock: I've seen several posts demanding to get skillcapes as F2P on RSOF. And the main thing here is, they give you a finger and you take the hand. Once they give you the skillcapes you'll never see the end of "GIVE F2P XXXXX" threads on the forums. Sure you don't do that, I'm sure you're actually a mature player that only thinks that skillcapes for F2P is a plus. Doesn't change the facts that there always a bunch of noobs/tards/whatever that demands more, more and more. Oh and by the way. And read this carefully as it is the pure truth. The game is free to a certain EXTENT! And yes, the ads pay for the games. Where exactly is the F2P player giving them their money to JaGeX? Edit0r: can we stop doing quote towers? ;)

So leeching because your F2P is totally OK? I don't think leeching in any way in this world is supported so why on earth would I want JaGeX to support you guys? "Leeching"? Like I said, they're not going to follow you around and share the same cape that you're wearing! They would be able to buy their own cape after leveling their own skill until they have their own 13,034,431 experience in it. How are they "leeching"? That doesn't even mean anything! However when they start demanding stuff they haven't even payed for I don't really see how they are "just playing the game for free". Agreed, although trying to prevent that might be good as well. I was thinking something like warnings. He would gain a warning and the next ban he got would increase the blackmarks by 10%. If people gained enough warnings they have a reason not to get banned really.

I just don't like to give some leechers, which does nothing other than leech of us P2P players, skillcapes which we payed for. Debate why? They gained 13 million just as easy as we P2P did! Willows is still the best Woodcutting XP. Lobsters isn't bad XP either. Maple/Yew is still best for Firemaking. All of theese can be used by P2P aswell as F2P! The only thing F2P has a hardtime to get is probably Mining (no granite) Crafting (no dragon hides) and prayer. Rest should be a cakewalk. But then again, we payed so we could SPEED UP our levels we get if we wanted to spend our money on it! They didn't. Not my problem. I rather see a quest update for P2P than Skillcapes for F2P instead of our quest.

Just because it has it's "own game"(wow) doesn't mean you should have more stuff. I payed JaGeX so they could continue updating this game, thus inventing skill capes. You can't fight this because this IS how it works.

Actually no. JaGeX wants money, they didn't make F2P so you could spend all your time on a game while they gain nothing. I still pay for whatever updates comes in Runescapes way and you sure as hell doesn't, so drop it.

No. I don't see a reason why F2P should get skill capes at all. F2P is simply a playmode for you to learn this game without having to pay for it beforehand. They encourage you to buy members once you have learned this game. I can get 99 cooking with lobsters as a member too so I don't really see how people can say that getting cooking as F2P is a bigger "achievement" than with members, certainly isn't. Both players used time on it. I can get 99 WC with Willows, Oaks or even normal trees but I don't because I BUY members. I pay for every update I get, you guys don't do ya?

I lost my Boots of Lightness and I need to get a new pair....Problem is I did that quest like 5 years ago. I have no idea whatsoever but as far as I understoof the quest guide I was supposed to be wearing a pendant of lucien. Where do I get it? :thumbsup:
