  1. Answer is no. If you want an item so badly, then pay the outrageous price. Otherwise, get to playing the game and go get the item yourself you lazy bums. (NOT directed at anybody here.) Jagex should ban the lazy bums. They really give me a headache when it comes to this matter.
  2. The people that were banned were not people at all, but fake characters owned by Jagex. Jagex reserves the right to do as they wish w/ said characters. As far as money is concerned, Jagex should refund whatever is left unused. For example, I pay $6 for 30 days of play. I play for 15 days and I am banned. Jagex should refund me a total of $3. No more, no less. They never stated and never will state something like this, but I believe we can assume this action of refunding for time unused was taken care of by their accounts payable department. This matter is nothing we have to worry about, unless we become rule-breakers ourselves.
  3. This response is remarkably similar to those who don't care for summoning. Hmmmm... Your loss, not mine.
  4. Wanna hear something even more bizarre? Even if we gained tokens at a rate of 1:1 per experience point, the lvl requirement would still be 50+. Because of this, I don't believe they have finalized costs or the rate at which we receive tokens. I'm expecting many updates within the first couple weeks. 10% free casts on spells that use them. I found a thread on the RSOF that explained how these staves are completely useless if one was to use them for high lvl alchemy. It went something like you save 250gp with the nature staff, 1 in 10 runes saved - but with the fire staff you save 50 fire runes totaling a savings of 500gp. In other words, high lvl alchemy just doubled in cost with respect to runes. Same went with the law staff. More math errors by Jagex. And these errors could have been avoided so easily if they took the time to review them before releasing. Overall though I'm enjoying the new skill/activity and am saving for the combat gear.
  5. I was going to post this in another thread attempting to compare wow to runescape. My opinion on the hitpoints update: anybody who compares this update doesnt understand the nature of wow vs runescape hp/lifepoint system. in world of warcraft hitpoints are based on the type of gear you wear and in a very small part the current lvl of your character. in runescape the lifepoints are based completely on your constitution level. gear has zero factors in boosting your lifepoints. im heavily in favor of the changes made today. it will allow jagex to create content with small things inbetween. remember, it wasnt just the lower lvls they wanted to satisfy. more things are planned, more is in the works, give them a chance to create. if you want to compare it to another game, modern warfare and modern warfare 2 are the answers. in mw2 the experience system released was 10 fold compared to the original. in mw2 you scored 100 points per kill instead of 10 points. by making this change, and convincing their audience as well, they were able to create a more rewarding experience system. I believe that jagex is attempting to make the same changes, a more rewarding combat experience, and i for one am expecting great things to come from todays update.

  7. If you would like to use, i made some spreadsheets to calculate the gp per exp for all of the old potions. They are categorized by grimy, clean, unfinished, and also by level. Grimy Lvl 3-22 Grimy Lvl 25-42 Grimy Lvl 44-63 Grimy Lvl 65-82 Clean Lvl 3-22 Clean Lvl 25-42 Clean Lvl 44-63 Clean Lvl 65-82 Unfinished Lvl 3-22 Unfinished Lvl 25-42 Unfinished Lvl 44-63 Unfinished Lvl 65-82 Keeping them up to date is difficult as usually the links will break every so often. I'll do my best to keep them running. Enjoy
  8. I'll get straight away to adding this into the spreadsheet. Ty ty!
  9. I want to take the market price from items on the rs grand exchange site and display them in my spreadsheet like the item database does. I have the spreadsheet made already, I just need the values from the GE. Anybody know how i can acquire these numbers and plug them into the spreadsheet? Even if you know of a website which would explain how to do this, i would be happy to read up on it. It's an herblore cost to gain in exp analysis chart for those wondering. If i can get these numbers to add in, i plan on making a couple more versions.
