Hey everyone. Just found out about this method. This will help people a lot that have previously been using dueling rings to teleport to castlewars or teleporting to daemonheim for charms, runecrafting, etc. After completion of the Elder Kiln quest, you receive the TokKul-Zo ring which unlimited teleports to 4 different locations, 3 of which are right beside a bank! (Fight Pits, Fight Caves, Fight Kiln) Fight Caves and Fight Kiln seem to be the best as the banker at the Fight Pits is moving around more. Teleporting with your familiar from the Fight Caves is great as there are no other people there and you have easy access to your familiar to teleport away. I've found all three of these spots quite a bit faster than using the previous castle wars method as you teleport instantly beside the bankers and there is no lagg before running to the chest increasing charms you can run an hour by about 500 for a total of around 3.5k charms an hour. I would have liked to get a short video out but with limited bandwidth I couldn't. Sorry. Requirements: 57 Summoning for Spirit Kyatt teleport Completion of the Elder Kiln quest & having the TokKul-Zo ring Charms! Used up my 102 effigies. Put most on summoning, but quite a few on runecrafting as well. :) End XP for all of them. :D Also finished the new quest which gave me 300 quest points. :^_^:

No way am I downloaded over 4 hours of the video with limited bandwidth. Does anyone have a video of just the boss fight?

1) was this necessary? NO. 2) are effigies in the spirit of the game? YES. 3) do you agree with the way jagex implemented their nerf? NO. 5 at a time? Pathetic. Just half the drop rate and let us keep collecting them. I love(d) doing slayer and collecting the effigies along the way. Most of the people happy with this are maxed players and ones that have never got effigies before.

Thanks for the tip Q. :) I've tried Al-Kharid warriors in the past with no luck ... I'll probably open my 102 effigies today, but I had originally hoped to save them till the bonus weekend and totally rock out my summoning XP ... :( Not really sure what I'm putting them on now. =/ I will do the quest later if it doesn't take too long, but doubtful I'll ever get close to wearing a completionist cape now. :mad: Oh well.. Ivy here I come! :|

Not happy with the effigy change at all. There's no difference if you want to collect them or open them at once .. I feel sorry for the people that were saving to open them by themselves. Instead of focusing on FPS & bot issues they do this .. Guess I can't collect 200 effigies. <_< My guess is that the effigy rate will be slashed in half (1 effigy every 2 hrs at crawlers) :thumbdown: How long did the quest take for people that have done it? Not really happy that the cape is a requirement for comp cape, especially for people that can't afford expensive equipment, and have FPS issues, etc. The cape should have some smoke or something..a golden trim, idk .. It looks somewhat boring right now.

This sucks .. I wanted 200. :cry:

I've gotten green charm drops from them before. Haven't had an effigy in a few hours either .. :(

@Leik: Probably. How many are you saving? Race to 200!! :^_^: Yeah, I telegrab 'em and open them. So far only gems and coins though. :mellow:

I wanted to use them all on Summoning but some will go on Runecrafting as well. I am aiming for 20M+ XP in each skill. :grin:

No, I have not. :( I used to get my summons from caskets, but I've not gotten one after opening hundreds of them.. and they're so expensive nowadays I didn't bother anymore. Little update for my "fans" .. Another 99 to go! "AFKing" mummies and doing school right now.

You can fight level 78 Jelly for them. Look under Habitat to see where they are located. Hellhounds are level 122 and also drop them quite frequently. Level 92 Greaters have a frequent drop rate as well. Fighting them in the Brimhaven dungeon would probably be your best bet. Cannoning Aberrant spectres in the Pollnivneach dungeon is fast as well. Both hellhounds and greaters are also found in Kuradal's slayer dungeon.

Did a mummy trip yesterday evening. Got those all in ~4 hrs. It's hard to fight them in that spot though.. occasionally when you drink a potion, drop a potion, yak, etc the other sarcophagus at the other side opens and brings a mummy out which can mess up the spawns. :( Thinking of heading back later for some more.

Pick some flax and string it into bowstring. That will level you up and make you money! :grin: You could craft dragonhide bodies, cut gems, glassblow, or make gold bracelets.. just to name a few others.

Lol no that's not it. I'm not sure if everyone that accesses it can edit it. I didn't want people to mess it up and enter random numbers.

I don't have a tooth creature .. does it work with something else as well? I'd still think meleeing w/ cannon is faster than just cannoning. That method seems to be much more attention span needed. I just put the cannon down and reload every 30 seconds.

At least now we know how you kept untrim slayer cape this long.. ;) Nice collection.

@bx: I have a farming spreadsheet. @Urza: Thanks. I'm happy I got it before they nerf the mummies. I got 4 effigies in around 7 hours so not that great tbh. No charms either.. so I'd rather do crawlers/black demons. Just got back from town.. got myself a 16 GB USB stick so I can have a backup for my RS pictures and other files. Was only $20. :^_^:
