  1. I guess they can, because they technically CAN. Your issues is whether they should. And since they don't seemto have a problem getting the kills and you have the problem, it's up to you to solve it, which means leaving. Competition is such an inconvenience huh? Its not competition, its just rude. I can get as many kills as them, but why should they, who came in later, get the same as me, who's been there for a while.
  2. You can be peacefully training or getting drops somewhere quiet when suddenly piles of people show up. Now, you cant train, have to fight for drops, and get called a noob when you politely ask them to leave. Why do people think that they can come in and steal your kills and drops? People should have a little respect for who was there first and switch worlds or go somewhere else. Im currently at ankous, started out alone getting lots of drops and xp, now I am overcrowded and cant do anything. Its a waste of time and I don't want to have to keep moving. This applies especially to rangers, they can hit the npc's faster than melee people can, so they just hog all the enemies.
  3. Though I don't remember RS1 I do remember before the ditch and the GE. Life was simple, you could make money with skills, and combat was more friendly. Now it is a bunch of little kids who pull out their massive awesome weapon and smash you then call you a noob. I didn't mind the wildy, I just stayed clear of it. The grand exchange killed Runescape. Though so helpful, prices got jacked even worse. Materials cost more then the final product now... Runescape has changed from a smart society where you could have fun into a place where your hand is held and you don't have to think. I see so many players who have no common sense. A quote from ingame. "why dont i get money real easy you should be able to get stuff easily" I nearly died when i saw that. this is runescape, not a kiddie game where you play a silly game for money and everything is relatively free
  4. If people see someone who they can pick on, they will. Just don't talk or say anything, and they will leave you alone. Challenging them or telling them to go away gets the usual "my main could kick your ***" response.
  5. I do sort of the same thing, though on the air mage near Rimmington. Works if you want to do other stuff but I talk to the random people that come by and check back to make sure I don't die. It is nice because you don't have to pay much attention so you can do other stuff, like post here. :D
  6. Merchants would cause the prices to massively go up, and they would never go down because nobody would be willing to sell for the least possible price to lower it, eventually ending up with billion dollar buckets...
